Recommend you change the screws in the license plate bulb housing to stainless steel. They will eventually rust out. It's been an issue for many 4runner owners. Just a heads up. edit: Stainless Steel Pan Head #8 x 1" screws for anyone looking

The LED interior lights are a great upgrade, but I chose to use a warmer LED colour as it is less harsh on my eyes at night. It is still bright but a lot less white. I do love the suggestion of the arm rest and I am definitely getting that.
First thing I did to my 2023 TRD OR was change out all the interior lights and added all weather mats and the back seat covers. I also changed out the light bulbs on the back license plate. I haven't gotten to the puddle lights yet, that looks more daunting. I did black out the chrome Toyota steering wheel emblem and the chrome door handles as well. Good stuff!
I highly recommend replacing the side mirrors with the OEM Rav4 mirrors that include the blindspot. They look great & have the heating element attachment. The blindspot coverage is incredible and feels much safer driving than those tiny stick on circles. You can find some vidoes that show the PNs and the simple installation instructions. Took me less than 20 min and it's one of the best Mods I've done.

There is a special traction system that let me go through snow up to my door handles when driving into the media strip on the highway to get around a blocked overturned truck. and accidents. shocking of the rock-climbing mode also.

I learned something! I had a 4th gen and had that trash bag behind the center console. The Velcro on the bottom attached to the carpet and the strap went under the lid. When I moved to the 5th gen and added the weather tech back seat mats it covered the carpet and the console lid design didn’t suit the strap. Now I’ll try your method of hanging it from the headrest. Thanks!
I looked at alot of interior mats for my 24 4Runner and also selected the Oedro. We have always used WeatherTech mats and was tempted to buy them again but these seemed to have better coverage (especially at the sill plates) and were more cost effective.
I am on my second one. the second one had backup cameras lane change the list is great. but i mainly bought the 4 Runner so i didn't to shovel or have my driveway plowed. 2,3, 4' of snow I go into the special traction, and I drive out with no problem. Infact i have pulled a couple of stuck snow plows out that were doing my neighbors driveways. LOL
The fact that you call it a FORErunner means this may not be the vehicle for you. It is a decades old design. Body on frame, solid rear axle, engine tuned for longevity over performance. If none of those things make sense to you, def pick a different vehicle.
Great video👍🏼 I also have a 2016 4Runner and I’d recommend blacking out the interior door handles. I brought mine from Meso Customs quick and easy install and looks great.
I really like the glove box organizer thing I might have to check into that. Just bought a 2015 limited so I like the trim that it came with stock gear shifter and all. I did buy some parts from Toyota such as replacement led bulbs for the interior and lift gate and a cargo net plus a new navigation SD card. Also bought a thing for the 4runner so you can roll your kayak onto the roof without scraping up or damaging the rear spoiler. The center console organizer is nice as well since the limited trim with 3rd row seating doesn't have much storage space. Same with the dog mat for the back. I have an old German shepherd and that would be great!

The only thing of use to me is the foot mat. I live in Africa and we have super extreme weather most of those things won't last in 6 mths of extreme heat. The when we now talk about the rainy season rains for about 6mths heavy. It gets muddy some roads flooded the whole season so your always wadding in 2 feet of water
Is the rear cargo tray liner made from the same material that the floor mats are made from? I started with the factory carpeted mat ( waste of $100), then I purchased the factory plastic mat ( I hate it because it is a hard plastic. Waste of another $90). I want a softer rubber mat ( not hard plastic), and was wondering if the OEDRO is rubber? Thanks in advance

Where is your dashcam? If you purchase a Rove, besure you get the rear view Mount. Those suction windshield mounts will not stay on after time, especially in the Arizona sun.

All very cool except the bright white LED lights. I can't stand white LED light, it feels like you're inside a Walmart or a doctor's office. The warm color of the halogen lights is so much nicer IN MY OPINION.

I’m a weather tech fan, have purchased 4 different sets of mats and a good cargo floor cover for a Lexus RX300. BUT the Weathertech cargo area cover for the 4 Runner is horrible . Very poor fitting and slides around to the point of hindering the tail hatch from closing. I called WeatherTech and got an RMA number and returned it for an exchange and the replacement was exactly the same. Wasn’t willing to send that one back and pay the $40 shipping charge so I kept it. From what I see from your photos, the Oedro cargo floor cover looks MUCH better than the Weathertech. The WeatherTech back mat does not cover the side areas or as far back. For that mat, you made a good choice. Great other mods to your 4 Runner.

Agreed! Can't stand high Kelvins. Lower range is the way to go, and doesn't inherently affect CRI.
Fixing up my 4th gen 4runner and, lemme tell ya, LED's make SUCH a difference! That and the form fitted mats give great peace of mind. Ty for the vid!

Rear pull down hatch straps from either raingler or agency 6. Different colors available and slightly longer more usable length

My favorite mod is stripping crap outta my truck to make it lighter.
I put a remote start on the car that I can use an app. Best money every spends $400 and plug and play

I also have a 4runner. Please, do not call it a tank. The tank is the landcruiser, not the 4runner. You can feel the "cheapness" in the 4runner.
My Toyota interior feels comparable to my old 2012 C-Class Mercedes. I've never felt like it's cheap.
