I've been watching u from my ig page, and said to myself let me check u out on youtube, I must say u make it very very simple to follow along I really appriciate and look foward to contineing with yr classes/ lesson MUAH!!
Thank you so much for your simple and easy to understand instructions for making pants and shorts patterns😅 I'm behind on some gifts because I let making shorts intimidate me for a while. Your videos helped me build up that courage I needed to just do it! Blessings sis and thank you for your videos☺️
This is great! Thank you. I watched you put the pants together and it looked like you added a pocket facing or some kind of gusset next to the pocket at the side seams. Can you show us?
I also saw something at that point that I didn’t understand but I’m not sure how often she replies to comments because I want to know how to alter this to make a mens joggers 🏃🏾♂️
Thank you for your nice tutorial. I would like to try to make my jogger😊. I am a little confused on the front pattern when you add ½" for in seam it looks like you draw 2 lines but you cut out of the line, is that okay?
Can this same pattern be converted to making regular pant with the elastic band waist? ( I don’t like having the elastic on my ankles😊 thanks for this video
@@sewquaint do I need to modify anything for male? For example I saw a person raise the waist level of the back pattern…? Please help because I’m at the “pattern part” 🙏🏿
When you did the first pattern piece. You added 1/2 seam allowance on the first pattern. BUT THEN YOU ADDED ANOTHER LINE DOWN THE THE SEAM ALLOWANCE OF THE PATTERN, WHICH WAS A SIDE WAY LINE. WHY DID YOU ADDED NEXT TO THE SEAM ALLOWANCE LINE? Go to your video at time 11:54. That is where u put the extra line.
Where I get tripped up is... when cutting, am I placing right sides kissing? And then, for some reason, one of my legs is ALWAYS longer than the other😟 what do I need to fix? I’ve waisted SO much trial fabric. I just really want to make my own clothes😔 please help
When you are going to do back pattern (on paper first) place front pattern on back then from hem of the pattern to where the crotch ends make sure the measurement is the same. Usually you have to lower the back crotch depth. So trim off some of the back depth to match the front crotch depth. Hope that helps.
well, you’d have to make it exact to the measurement of your ankles. so if your ankles are a circumference of 10” you’d make it 5” going across then fold the fabric when you’re cutting
@@sewquaint Could you tell me what measurements will be divided by 4 and what measurements by 2? Also I would still need to measure waist to ankle like you did in this video. How much would I take off at knee and ankle to make pant tight? You did such a good job explaining!

Hey, when you say determine the grainline do you mean when cutting out the fabric pieces or when drafting the pattern?
Amazing thank you! x

Where would we mark the fold line on our pattern ? Also are we supposed to fold our fabric selvedge-selvedge? Im using a 2way stretch.
Great turorial, but Can you show us how to make joggers pants for men?
Can this same pattern be converted to making regular pant with the elastic band waist? ( I don’t like having the elastic on my ankles😊 thanks for this video
