I used this method today to draft a pattern and make a pair of shorts! I was so happy with the results :) Your instructions are so perfect and easy to follow! I am a bigger girl (34" waist, 45" hip) and was worried it wouldn't work out but the shorts are great! I made a first version out of extra fabric I had, and will make another pair soon out of a nicer fabric I have been saving. Loved this video and the one that explains how to sew these. Can't wait to try more of your pattern drafting videos :)

This is such a well explained tutorial. My dream as a young girl was to make clothing but other than making curtians and pillow cases etc I was always intimidated by store clothing patterns so never took that plunge. Hi good evening thank you for responding I appreciate it 😊. I have purchased the sewing machine. And girl I want to just sew everything . lol. It's just exciting to think or observe and sew something from scratch. I feel so proud of myself honestly I looked at a store bought paper bag pants and I cut it for a friend into a short and I use the left out fabric from the pants to sew the exact paper bag shorts with front inside pocket and hun I tell you they look the same . I did something that I never done before and it make me feel so good. I like to challenge myself with things that are hard. Even if it the first time.. now I have a new project to do this is another challenge for me. . I'm going to try my best
