Man I’ve been looking for this for a WHILE gonna wire mine up!
I was just asking about this for my 2010.
Who wants console? I like manspreading hahaha. Good work tho bro, looks oem. Good diy
Thanks man I really appreciate it!
@Raine Lutz where’s the wiring diagrams
will this work for 1999 ford f150 column to 2004 console with same shift pattern PRND21 and OD button
I'm trying to convert 1999 ford f150 Lariat from column shift to console shift. having trouble wiring.
Is it passable? You can put all the parts together as a kit ship to Taiwan?
How did you hook the lights up?
Is there a video before this or did this video start in the middle of the entire process?
Anyone know if a company has made a plug and play harness adapter for this mod?
Hey man. Have you figured out the wiring for the bmw e90 sport seats?
So should I follow this step by step or not touch the bottom plug ?
Do you think this would work going from console shifter to column shifter?
I am wondering this too
Why would you want to?
Anyone know if it is possible to go from Console to Column?
I'd saybits possible as the hardest part is the wiring and it's similar to this. Only issue I see is you'll need the actual mechanism on the column the shifter mounts to. I'm unsure if you can swap it or if you'll need a column shifting column.
I'd if you will get to this but I picked up a 2012 single cab f150 would this work on mine as well?
To my knowledge it should all be the same!
Absolutely. I did my 2013 in 3 hours start to finish. Cut the wires off at the bottom of column shifter extend to the console. 3 wire set to up/down shift button. other 2 to the tow haul. No " harness" needed No idea why he points out the wiring under the ignition switch? DO NOT TOUCH THOSE. Run hot wire when brake is NOT pressed and cold when brake is depressed, it will then release. The lock out solenoid release works only when brake pedal is not depressed other wise it is always inactive. Run a 12v wire that is hot when lights are on. DONE!!! If you want to have outlet ports work run a 12v switched or unswitched wire. I have no idea why people act. like this is so hard.
Anyone got anything on putting a lariat or platinum interior in a supercab
I did some looking, and it depends on what seats you currently have. For example, mine has a power driver seat but a manual passenger seat. You can't just swap in power seats and run your own wires. You'll need to replace the lower cab harness and possibly a module to retain power functions. I've been throwing around the idea of swapping the leather platinum seats onto my manual seat rails, but I haven't done much digging.
@@spontaneousgiraffe anywhere I can send a photo?
@@cfrimm you can shoot me a message on Instagram at lutz.skunkworks
@@spontaneousgiraffethat’s what i did. you can use the platinum driver seat controls with lower-model power seat harnesses. but for passenger yes i just swapped the leather covers. pain in the ass but so worth it
edit - (if you just plug and play the platinum driver seat controls into the factory lower-trim harness, you will not be able to fold the seat. i’ve learned to live with it. luckily it’s locked at the right angle. you can adjust the tilt angle of the WHOLE seat, just can’t fold the back of the seat :/ )
@brinden that's very useful information. Thank you, I appreciate it. I was hoping you could just swap the rails or something easy like that, so that's good to know.
How much would you charge me to do mine 😂😂
