Excellent video Devil Dog, well explained
Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for your continued service and the video! I had a 300 Win Mag on order but cancelled it. Now I cannot decide if I need this one first (I already have a 7mm PRC Model 307 Meateater) or stick with my original plan of the Mini Fix 6mm ARC. Both are overkill for what I need, but still need them first
Maybe the 300 prc for variety?
Mmm I’ve wanted to build a 6 arc for a while. Need to pull the trigger on that!
@@way-up-west-outdoors 300 PRC is certainly on my list. A Sig Cross in .300 PRC with the same setup as the 7mm PRC that you showed there would be perfect weight and features wise.
Thank you, for your service
Much appreciated. Was my pleasure
Great review! Thank you for all the info even though I was already 💯 going to get one! You just reinforced my decision!
Glad I could help! You won’t be dissatisfied
Looks like a great gun, I like the improvements they've made and may have to pick one up.
Stoked what sig did with this cross. Cant wait for elk season 😮💨
Thx for the info on the sawtooth
@@elkhtr8472 happy to help! Thanks for watching!
The gear reviews are a great addition to the channel. When will y’all have some shirts in stock?
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them! We keep it rollin! Oh man we are terrible about our merch 😂 we will try to get back on it 😅
What do you think about federal force protection?
nice good back ground stats
Glad you enjoyed it!
A 8lb magnum doesn't have to jump if your rifle is set up right. If you have the heel of the stock set up higher to where it's more in line with the action/bore, you'll produce a much more lateral recoil impulse rather than having the front of the gun wanting to "jump" as you say. It'll just drive the gun straight back into your shoulder instead of up.
I don’t disagree with you
In perfect position, probe, sitting etc. but when hunting rarely do I get a great position behind the gun, due to rocks, slopes, down trees, etc. so I make it work get behind the gun best I can. And the weight of the gun compensates for the lack of good position.
Thing is heavy as sin
You can get lighter rifles. You just make sacrifices for the weight reduction.
Good review, thank you. I’d much rather have a longer rail. The placement of the bipod mount is too far from the end of the barrel.
I don’t mind the close rail at all. You get more up and down movement than if you had it at the end of the rail. Shooting steep angles in the west it’s an advantage to have that close rail.
Do they offer different barrel lengths? I think a 20 or 22” with brake would be cool in 7prc. Does the sig scope have a lit reticle and if so, does it have a push button for that like the razor LHT/Leupold VX5hd or is it more like the tactical style scopes with off between levels when you twist the dial?
They do not offer different lengths as of now.
Proof sells pre fit cross barrels for the short action, so I imagine they will sell different lengths in the future? It does have a lit reticle, turn knob with off settings between each level.
@@way-up-west-outdoors that’s awesome about the scope. The biggest issue with the razor LHT is that god awful button that gets stuck and it’s hard to push it in with frozen fingers. Same with the Leupold. I don’t have a dealer near me that sells sig. how is the edge to edge clarity? As in, how much of the bezel do you see? Is it as pristine as the razor line of optics? I barely see any black with that scope. If this is good in that area, not only would it make an excellent hunting scope but I’d consider it for an mpvo on a spr type build for 6ARC
@@dionysis84 I for see any problems like that happening. It does have a lock on it where you slip it out before you turn it so it doesn’t turn in incidentally too.
What’s the price?
@@way-up-west-outdoorshey man, do you have a link to that scope or the full name of it? Will you be doing a review on just the scope at all you think? Interested in checking it out!
Can the handguard be switched to the longer one
The longer one will fit. They are not selling them separately as of now.
When will these be available?
I’m not sure. But I will try to find out!
Is there a 300wm in the new version
Right now I believe the sawtooth will only come in the 7prc and 300prc
277 fury sig cross
Would LOVE to get my hands on that guy
I second this, I think the .277 with that hybrid ammo and a suppressor would be a great lighter weight and shorter elk rig.
Love the 7prc but that barrel is a long boy if you want to suppress is plus it’s over a lbs heavier than the .277

I have a 20 inch browning X bolt SPR with a can.
I love that setup.
But I would Love the New 20inch Sig cross 277Fury
It’s supposed to shoot the 150 grain hybrid over 3000 FPS
