      One thing i would change is the iron sights.I would put something so that its more easyer to aim.And also i would change the grip. I would put it much closer to the bipod .But thats personal preference there

    The description: "I'm also not that happy about the editing with all the micro cuts, next time I'll reduce them and focus on longer shots and showing less details. I think my problem was I wanted to include every single detail and still make the video as short as possible."
    No, this is perfect, I love to see the details, your interacting with them, it's like ASMR, and I have no idea what airsoft is , maybe because it's not popular in Vietnam. I just love to watch what you do to every single gear like lubing, screwing .. etc, and I believe that make people not skip or time jump your video, it's HOOKED

    Question: did you volume match the cylinder to barrel with the appropriate BB weight?
    I've seen people adding super long barrels experiencing a huge DECREASE in accuracy and consistency which was remedied when moving back to the stock barrel.

    • @koretacairsoft

    im glad i got my cyma m110/sr25, it has a semi functioning bolt catch and its the most satisfying thing ever. it also didn't have that wobble in the upper receiver or suppressor thank god. that thing looks sick tho great job. also the 13:1's would reduce the power no? its a dmr so it should just focus on the range and pfs mostly yeah?

    • @koretacairsoft
      @koretacairsoft  4 місяці тому

      I’ve got a newer Cyma SR25 aswell and it’s definitely higher quality than my A&K. Only problem is I wanted that classic look and Cyma went with a more futuristic look for their newer models and I can’t get my hands on the older ones.
      Also gears don’t affect the power output unless they’re short stroked, so 13:1s are no problem.

    • @koretacairsoft

      MED at this particular event is more of a gentleman's agreements we stil have handguns.
      Effective range is about 70 meters depending conditions but you can take pot shots at a 100m we play in large forest areas in th Czech Republick but ive been to games at old farms with morerate cqb where AEG's regularly had up to m150 springs. I'd say i prefer it as it forces the players to act more like in a real conflict and also its the best antidote for speedsofters

      I'm currently in search of DMR (but in 556 magazine format to fit magazines).
      My basic idea is to purchase one that's got good FPS and range and abuse it as a stock, then when it eventually fails to upgrade it into real DMR.
      I'm not really into building and mechanical. (I had real problem of disassembling and assembling V3 of my now broken ICS SIG 551).
      What would you recommend in this case?

    • @koretacairsoft
      @koretacairsoft  6 місяців тому +1

      @@0bserver416 Well, what’s your budget? Also fyi, with a 556 platform you’ll lose the extra air volume that most AR-10-esque platforms provide thanks to their bigger cylinder, which is vital when it comes to range.

    • @0bserver416
      @0bserver416 6 місяців тому +1

      @@koretacairsoft Good question.
      The max budget will be 500 (+50). Preferably around 350.
      Didn't know that AR-10 pattern had a bigger cylinder, good to know!

    • @koretacairsoft
      @koretacairsoft  6 місяців тому +1

      @@0bserver416 Seeing as you want to go the 556 route, almost any high quality M4 style rifle will work. VFC:s are definitely my favorite because of their good externals and internals. Cymas newer rifles are great too but a bit worse when it comes to externals. Your range will mostly be dependant on your bucking, nub and BB weight. I’d recommend going for a Maple leaf MR bucking and omega nub, and at least 0.28g bbs.

    Isn't 130m/s (430 ft/s) a bit slow for a DMR. I am assuming the test was done with .2 gram BBs. In my opinion, 150m/s (490ft/s) to 160m/s (525ft/s) would be much more appropriate to be able to hit a torso sized target at 190-210 ft without worrying about shrubs, etc.

    • @koretacairsoft
      @koretacairsoft  2 дні тому +1

      130 m/s works okay for me. I don't want any longer MED than what I have right now (around 10 meters) so I'm keeping it this way for now. I definitely see your point though.

    • @petrsemenov2617
      @petrsemenov2617 2 дні тому +1

      @koretacairsoft Oh ok, it's just that in Russia we mostly play either in forest like environments or in a mixed environmentwith abandoned buildings we call them (полигоны). The MED is usually closer to 30, in some cases 40m (not marksman engagement). At those ranges the velocity and the magnus effect you get from it makes a very large distance

    • @koretacairsoft
      @koretacairsoft  2 дні тому

      @@petrsemenov2617 I can imagine. We do play a lot in forests here in Sweden as well, but the field I play at currently is very short distance so I have to keep my joules down. There’s really no point in running around with a DMR at such short distances but I love the gun so I still do. 😂

    Hey im also building a sr25 but from cyma and want a faster trigger response. I want to get 13:1 gears but someone said that the pick up pin for the tappet plate position is a problem and it pre engages the tappet plate because the pick up pin position on the oem is different. Is it really a problem?

    • @koretacairsoft
      @koretacairsoft  3 місяці тому

      No idea, you’ll have to try it out and see. If it’s a problem you can probably file down the tappet a bit or try different tappets to find one that works.

  • @thebigbra2015

    I did use 13:1 gears and an shs high torque in my 417 so that might be a good route if you want to use thise gears
    Maybe a g&g ifrit could work well too
    (Btw i hate the odd and wonky 417 gearbox that disassembles in 3 pieces and has the oddest looking selector plate of all time 😵‍💫)
