Manufacturers it's really simple. We need to see the dials without shifting around multiple times in the seat and just need to turn a knob and not press 600 haptic buttons. It's not progress.
A cool car, had no issue with the steering wheel when I’ve driven Peugeots. It’s actually quite nice to have something different, that feels a bit special.
I’m driving a 408 GT at the moment, this is definitely the spec to get as you get pretty much everything opposed to the poverty version, an excellent driving experience, I recommend this
Mark. I feel like your brilliant, articulate and honest shining light of reviews is being dimmed with this new style of review... you are an erudite legend of a car journalist who should have far more views than the channel gets. Why the change?
I'm 5'8". This is the first car I have driven where I can clearly see the instruments over the wheel rather than peering through a wheel as in old fashioned cars. I can't understand why taller drivers say they have a problem. All they have to do is adjust the seat height and lower the wheel. Clearly they are leaving the wheel right up as they are accustomed to it being in that position.
Peugeot must be desperate to find 10 grams of weight savings to install such a tiny steering wheel. Just looks misplaced in such a large car, and certainly blocks the view of the instrument panel.
Just another product of emissions regulations, BIK rules, French taxation bands.... result - a car that's as unnatural in its "driver interface" as in how it drives. Is that progress or have we just ruined cars?
No, it's not weird at all. It's a super cool, stunningly beautiful car. Audacious, spectacular design. You are weird to find it weird. And that haircut of yours.... seriously....
@@CarGeordie No, I don't own a 408 but consider buying one. Never said it was 'the best ever made', you made that up, you muppet. I just spoke the truth: it's a sensational car. Not a weird one. You belong on Sesame Street, pal. You trash talked it just because it's a French car. You couldn't admit it's a top car just because it's French, how petty is that?

Thanks Stephen, that’s a really nice thing to say. I hear you. 🙂 Watch this space…

Hi I just want to ask if you will choose between peugeot 408 and citroen c5x what will you choose? Thanks!
Are Greggs’ sponsoring the channel?! Lol
‘Little steering wheel’ - Sarah Millican
I’d love to get Sarah Millican onto a car review. It would be dead canny and that. 😂
Love this car ❤
It’s not cheap to tax though is it? After the first year to the fifth, it costs over £550 because the rrp is over 40k.
Good review... missed the 407 Coupé out though.
No new videos?

Disagree with me because I don’t think your car (presumably?) is the best car ever made… attack me personally. Nice. Stay classy, sir. 👏😁
