I actually found a legendary weapon called the 'Instigating Fat Man' on a mole rat deep in the glowing sea that does 1345+ damage and X2 multiplier if the target is at full health.
I remember stumbling on to that satellite tower when I 1st got to the Fallon's Department Store area & picked up the distress signal. I battled my way through a hoard of high level super mutants, some of them being legendary battle masters, & 4 of them being suicide bombers.... all to save this girl, who I thought was kidnapped or hiding from the super mutants. And when I found her... fucking depressing as hell. I couldn't help but leave a bottle of purified water by her side, before I left the area. 😔
Omg I'm level 130ish on both the PC and PS4 and this the first time ive heard of this hidden room in fallons store. Plus the vid you did on the hidden room above diamond city, nope didn't know that was there either D'oh. Makes me wonder what else i have blatantly walked past over the months jeeze!😶
Noticed the Railroad “cache nearby” symbol painted on the cabinet next to the secret red button under the counter. You see the same symbol when doing the first Railroad quest when you meet Duncan out on the Old Highway
You probably know this by now, but in regards to the preserved pie you can acquire it, it just takes like 50+ times doing the attempt. I spend so much time getting those pies, but I gotta have them for my Vault. My settlers deserve good food, as well as any traders or wanderers that happen by.
I believe you have already done video on the vending machine but, equip and take anything that improves you luck and watch from the begining of the claw action. when it shifts befor dropping, you got it!

Holy crap! No lie, I Just got the perfectly preserved pie! Literally right when you said you will only give it two tries. On my second try all 3 claws grabbed the plate. Level 11 Luck for those wondering.

Eventually if you try enough you'll get the preserved pie. It takes some time. I got the one in the dugout inn on my survival playthrough. I tried 2 times every time I went there to sleep and eventually it gave it to me. If the claw doesn't reposition before dropping you won't get it.
You can get the Perfectly Preserved Pie, but you need a luck score higher then 15. It's been over 2 years now since you put out this video, so I hope you have gotten one by now. Have a GREAT one, been enjoying all of your vids. I find them all very entertaining and informative. :D
Thanks for the tip about the star marks. I've seen them about the wastland but didn't realise what they meant the problem is I can't remember where I saw them... I think there is on in the castle on a wall. I'll have a look later.
I don't think I've ever successfully gotten that pie from that dispenser. If you're with Nick though, he comments on it. "I don't think I'd trust 200 year old pie..." You can also faintly hear conversation on that SuperMutant radio station.
The worst thing is that the game will spawn all of the random level 4 vendors early in the game, before you could possibly have the population or the level 3 stands for them. Then by the time you have what you need to recruit them, you will never see them again.

10:00 Reminds me of some of the radio speakers in Dead Money, out in the Villa. You would sometimes have graffiti that pointed out their location, atleast at the early portions of the DLC.
Thanks! I had to review how to crouch in order to see the button. I was on top of it several times. But, just couldn't spot it while standing. For anyone interested, crouching on the PC is the Ctrl key. Its a toggle by the way. Hit it once and you are crouch and creep. Hit it again to stand up and run. Super mutants are so damned annoying...

The machine inside the Dugout Bar inside Diamond City always dispenses the pie. You can activate the machine legally but taking the pie is "stealing". Had no idea with due patience I could get pie out of the other machines, thanks for the info.

Getting the food dispenser to dispense food is the most rare thing in fallout 4. You have a better chance of running into a random legendary mythic alpha chameleon dethclaw than getting food out of the dispenser. It has a chance to dispense based off your luck but it's an extremely low chance even at max luck. It's something I have yet to fiddle with because it could take hours or weeks for me to get the dispenser to work. So I'm waiting till I have max luck, luck boosting chems, and luck boosting gear before I give it a shot.
For the Fallons Store hidden location there is a red tool box to the left as you enter the secret room is a key, that will unlock all the safes in the room with a key.
Porta-diner dispenses off a formula. (Luck×4+# of attempts)/20. It gives you a percentage of getting the pie. It then adds all your previous. Even if you are at 10 luck, you have a 2% chance on your first go. Around 26 trys you're at 50%. The best way to get pie is to put on grey cap, greaser jeans, use daytripper and have the live & love mag that makes chems more effective (that magizine is glitched if Cait is your companion). I've seen it work after like 3 trys with this combo.

Yes, it is possible to get the 'Perfectly preserved pie' without using mods. I am a long time FO player and probably have months of combined play time... yet I have only been successful once. I now keep it in a display case because of how rare it is. Some people will tell you that it depends on your 'luck' stat, but the play through that I actually got the pie only has 3 luck

So even maxed out, you'd on average have to press the thing a couple hundred times to drop one. Does work though so while I never go out of my way to hunt them down, if i'm passing one, I always give it a little tickle to see if it drops...

actually, you can get the cryolator with dogmeat. this means you dont have to fight raiders, just tell dogmeat to follow you and go back in the vault. inside be standing outside the cryolator and tell dogmeat to fetch. he will take out the gun and give it to you. then trade with dogmeat and he will have the ammo

If you're talking about cross dissolves then I just highlight the border between the two clips and press CTRL+D. You can also find "Cross Dissolve" in the presets drop-down under video transitions. Hope that helped.

you have to follow the signals. the closer you get the stronger gets the signal

Yes you can pick up those perfectly preserved treats from the pota dinner, you need high luck and sometimes multiple tries i.e. more than two. I got one once, a strawberry cream pie I think.
