Fabulous - once again. Well done caravan corner. You are doing a brilliant job here as well as in the cottage. The tractor is certainly a boys toy 😂 Don’t fret about timing etc. just post when you can as we will all be here waiting just whenever you are able. 👏
I love your progress and explaining everything you are doing is just amazing...What a kind neighbor to give a helping hand. Doesn't get better than that. Have a great weekend both of you .
Love the tractor! So Retro and cute looking, and such a good year!! My birth year too, Tracy! Sept gal :) The oak looked fabulous, can't wait to see what they are made into :)
You mentioned that the town and the church is just down the road from you, so I wondered if the church had a bell tower? Do they ring them? Can you hear the bell(s) ring from your place? I lived in Germany for three years in the mid-1970s, and hearing the bells toll at Christmas time & throughout the year, is one of my favorite remembrances of that experience.
Love the wood burner , at least you will feel a bit warmer now you have that in. Nice when you can ask neighbours to give you a have when needed. Bon Chance
Good man safety first I can see the progress already. Love that you’re working with oak. The doors and shutters will be magnificent. That’s the biggest tractor I’ve ever seen. Will be great in the fields
You both have done lot of work again lot of respect for you both have enjoyed it again thanks for sharing good morning overhere from the Netherlands 😊👌👍👍
My husband loves the tractor, lol. I started watching from the beginning, even though I have been following for about a year. Its all going to be lovely one day!
Hi Courtney him and me too i do love the old tractor its a proper work horse and thanks yes it will start coming together soon the inside of the porch is nearly finished and should be by the time this weeks video comes out all the best Budo 😘🥰
Glad you've got that fire installed. Hopefully you'll get it up and running soon - I feel you'll be needing it in the coming weeks and months (it's certainly turned cold here in the East Anglia). Thanks for sharing.
On our farm as a child our father cut and split 30 cords of oak each summer for our wood stove, our part was to carry and stacked it for winter storage. The scent of the wood never leaves you, its funny how the olfactory is such a trigger for memories.
Hey folks, love your shows. With regards to bad internet: we have a very remote farm in the woods of South East Hungary. We have a very small antenna installed that picks up the internet signal and is connected to a router. We pay €21,- per month for 1 TerraBite of data. Must be there in France too. Worth checking. We have excellent internet
Hi Guys, We had 1mb when we first moved here back in June. After much hassle with Orange we finally got super fast Fibre . If you send me an email to my Channel email address, you'll be welcome to pop over and do the upload here. It takes about 90 seconds to upload my videos. All the best. Colin.
Oh wow Colin you might have just become one of our best buddies in france ill email you a bit later for a chit chat mate as working away in the rain that never stops here lol
You must have an Orange live box,. In my little village in Burgundy, we are still waiting on fiber optic, promised it for the last five years. Its in the next village, but that’s as far as it got. Looking into Tesla Skylink as an option.
Was it billy petherick that just had star link installed in his Chatteau and guest house ? Might be too expensive? I have no idea but in rural Indiana USA here we got fiber optic a few years ago and signal is horrific they say we are at the end of line therefore get the last dribble of signal 😳 very frustrating .
God Bless you both. Thank you for sharing your adventure. Tracy you are a beautiful spirit. You are both people I would love to meet and befriend. I'm enjoying watching your vlog. You are both very giving people. The world needs more like you.
I do hope other people watch your vlogs as I think you are one of the best channels you both work really hard and I'm sure your house will be beautiful when it is done I can't wait to see you make doors etc with the oak..... but I presume it has to dry out a bit first.
Thank you so much Denise for your lovely comments the oak is all ready kiln dried down to 12% so it could be technically used to make furniture thats why we paid a premium for it but when I build the oak porch and Juliet balcony ill be using what we call wet oak which is half the price here all the best Budo
We are so happy that we have found your vlogs. Both of you Tracey and Budo are such hard workers, and you Budo what a craftsman. We so appreciate your explanations of each of the projects you undertake. Have passed on your vlog links to others, so we sure hope your channel grows and grows. Just one thing Budo at 10:30 on this video you take the Lords name in vain. Could you not do that or if you do, edit that part out, as this is offensive to us. Thanks so much. There is a lot of hard work ahead of you, but with your skills and talents your farmhouse is going to be stunning. Greetings from Toronto, Canada and wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2022.
I remember Stephanie Jarvis had to drive a little distance from her chateau to find better internet. She sat at the side of a road to download her vlog. This was before she got something that enhanced her signal. True story. So you might want to drive around to see if you can find a place with more bars.
So true! She did that for long long time! It also might be worth looking for a coffee shop or cafe that has internet for its customers and go for a coffee or meal and upload while there, if they are okay with you doing that. Oh, editing to add, maybe see if you can go over the Lalacelle and use their internet for uploading.
Hi Susan Tracy here, we have not got the time as Stephanie did to drive around the countryside till we can get a good signal. Stephanie has builders doing all her work so she has a lot more time than us. We wake very early and finish quite late as well doing our renovation and it is just Budo and me doing the work and when we finish we want to sit down and relax but we will be looking into other alternatives to hopefully speed up the uploads of our videos so we can make them longer for you guys but thank you so much for your suggestion
Don’t worry so much about us. Your the builders working and entertaining us. Love watching your vlogs very lovely. Internet speeds are political issue everywhere!!! We seem to have an interesting bunch of pollies world wide. Thank you,
Do wood burning stoves come with those little black fans that rotate from the heat & push the hot air into the room? I have seen many but don't know if they come with stoves.
Hey Susan you have to buy the little black fan seperately. But the're amazing, make a huge difference. They circulate the hot air through the room. Temperature goes op much quicker
Hi we know but we didn't have much footage this week and a few people loved the sun set and rise so we extended it a little to stretch it out as we have been fighting against the weather all week, sorry buddy we are working at it
Looking like you are moving along...very nice to see you getting a new burner and all that beautiful oak.
Thanks 👍

Can't wait to see you work your magic with the oak!
Quarter sawn oak is the most beautiful wood. 😍😍😍 stoked to see what you will make of it.
You two are doing an amazing job! I just know your home and farm will be very beautiful when your done.

I’ll be waiting for your next video.
Thank you Rose
That is a big wood burner they put out loads of heat you should be nice and toasty when it's in .
Yes we know and we are looking forward to sitting next to the woodburner
💐👍
Starting to dry out the house will make working in there much better. Will you be putting a roll bar on the tractor?
Yes it has been a consideration and we might incorporate a rain cover as well

@@rosaliejackson7650 they'll need a VPN if they go to a cafe.
It would make a laundromat visit less boring, if the internet signal is better there.

No they don't Susan but we are getting them
I don't know how long Roy has lived in France, but his accent is still pretty broad.would be pretty interesting to hear his French.😊
Roy has a very strong accent 🥰🌺
Hi, thanks for sharing, Im looking for a wood burner myself, how does the prices compare to the UK? cheers
If you can buy in the UK they are cheaper and also made better but you will be hit with import taxes bringing them into France
@@FrenchFarmhouseDiaries cheers
Budo, UA-cam will demonitize your vlog when licensed music is in the background.
Thank you
You're welcome
You should have bought a Godin stove instead of the cheap quality Invicta one.
😎
I'm guessing Roy is from the West Country?
💕INTERNET You need a good signal booster💕Ask Terry & Ash what they have or ask them to ask Stephanie Jarvis or Billy Petherick💕
Thank you Susan we will look into this
Sorry, but way overlong intro.
Hi we know but we didn't have much footage this week and a few people loved the sun set and rise so we extended it a little to stretch it out as we have been fighting against the weather all week, sorry buddy we are working at it
