Always appreciate your honest reviews on make-up products Kerry-Lou. As a professional make-up artist, your opinion is invaluable. I've been loving your 'shorts' too ❤😊
Not harsh, just candid. Other reviews have been similarly unimpressed. Many complained that their hair would stick to their face and that was enough to keep me away. Also, I prefer a satin glow over a dewy finish. I love the look of healthy skin, but not greasy or like you said, sweaty. I was a very oily gal back in the day. Now it is as close to “normal” as I guess normal can be. I certainly don’t want to revisit the sad days of fighting oil breakthroughs. 😊
Hello Kerry Lou, what a beautiful informative and honest video, like you always do. You tell us what you like and don't and that it mite go well on someone else. And my honest opinion is that you look fabulous with that head band and loose hair 😍 i have never used foundations, but i really like the way you explain things. Thank you my dear... And have a great weekend 💕💕💕💕
I love honest reviews given kindly, which you did.😊 I recently purchased a taupe brow pencil from Mac. I loved it, application was easy and natural looking. The color looked great with my white/gray hair. It lasted only a month! $24.00 for only a month of use is a terrible squandering of money in my household 😅I just ordered the JR balm, I am very happy to hear it’s good, thank you!
You were not too harsh just honest. I really like that when you review items. We really need to know the truth. Thank you for this. I bought the cheek color in the jar the one you have to mix to use. I have only used it a few times. I’ll give it another try.
Hi Kerry. Another Great review. I ordered a small pallet (trio) of Miracle Balms which is a great way to try the product. I'm 66 years old and thought I'd be a prime candidate for this product. I love the premise and love the Dusty Rose color. I thought I had combination skin but for this product I think my skin is still too oily. Also found it didn't have enough pigment for me so I had to build up the product but It never tacked down and I ended up looking like I had an oil patch on my cheeks. I use this product when I'm running errands sometimes but It's almost a no- no-makeup look. Bummer. I DO love her mascara's however. You have such a lovely way about you and were not too harsh.
Thanks for your feedback, and for sharing your experience! This is what I love about my viewers - we are mostly in the same age group, have similar issues, and trying many of the same products! We can save our sisters some money by letting others know our honest opinions! Have a great weekend! xx
Love your advice as always, it's great to have a trusted source to turn to, I've always learnt something from your videos, even if in the UK I can't obtain all of the products. You really have given me more confidence with makeup especially as I navigate the joys ha ha of menopause. Ohhh panda eyes - yep ready struggling with this ATM, maybe it's because we finally have some good weather in the UK, but by the end of the day I have makeup where I don't want it!!! Ahhhh. Thanks again ❤❤
I have tried the Miracle Balm and didn't find that it worked for me. It wasn't pigmented enough nor did it last the day. I have also tried the Cool Gloss and again the same issues. I will not be buying either one again. I have yet to try the mascara, but I am looking forward to giving it a try. Thank you for the review.
Hello sugar, you're a bodacious lady. I lost my grandmother from cancer and then my mom as well. They never got to the silvering beauty that you have taught me. I was crying and desperate for help because I have been in a rut for the last 10 years. I googled information, I found you. I am very grateful for you for what you've taught me thus far. My silvering hair and eyebrows.
Hello Nora, I’m so sorry that you lost your mom and grandmother. In the best circumstances, our mothers and grandmothers are our role models, the women we look to for how to live our lives, it’s as if they walk ahead, forging a path we can then use. No wonder you felt so lost. Whenever I need my mum’s guidance these days, I still ask for it, and I know just what she would say, (is saying?) We just have to listen more carefully than when they were with us physically. So glad to have been even a little help to you. Much love, KL
Great reviews. I definitely will not be using the miracle balm because it is shiny and greasy on skin. Sometimes I get disappointed because they really hype products up.
Very fair review. I am a lover of Jones Road, I have dry, sensitive skin and WTF is my personal holy grail as it covers my redness and does not settle into fine lines. I use the Face Pencil and the Face Corrector to cover spots and dark circles, then I follow with the MB in Tawny and Flushed, The Eyeliners and Just a Sec on my lids. I do apply powder on the center of my face and under my eyes. I do not use The Mascara as it is too wet for me, and I do not use The Brow Pencil as Benefit’s Precisely My Brow is my holy grail. The thing about Jones Road and the sheerness ( which I have been able to layer without any problem) is that it is not suppose to be full coverage though you can build it up that way with the combination of the WTF and the Face Pencils, it’s the “no make up” look many of us like; you can also powder the entire face to tone down the shine (JR0 has powder products for the entire face and blush too). I personally love Jones Road and have been slowly replacing my products with JR that works best for me.
Thanks so much for sharing the products that work well for you, and how you achieve your desired look. That's why I love getting viewers feedback, because we all have different needs! You mentioned the Jones Rd eyebrow pencil, I haven't tried it, but I used to LOVE her soft grey pencil from Bobbi Brown line, but they discontinued. Many people love the Benefit pencil that you're using though.
Not harsh. Quite well-balanced and most importantly- honest. Remember you are reviewing, the company markets. Honest reviews are important to help people make more informed decisions to curb wasting money and getting frustrated
Agree with you although I did not care for the mascara mostly because of the tube size and large amount of product on the brush. Also tried the cool gloss in “nude beige”. Loved the color presented in the tube but would not purchase again. It tended to dry out my lips. The miracle balm in “Dusty Rose” works well on older skin if applied as you suggested. Thank you so much for your advice and tips. Well done video. So appreciated
Dearest Kerry-Lou ! Thank you so much for your statement; - I`ll try the maskara ! You look soooo beautiful with Revlon lipgloss in raspberry-rosewood. For me it`s a bit more pretty than the JRB. - Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings to you and Thank you !🌻🌼🌻
I am 71 and have been a loyal Bobbi Brown fan since age 45. Because my experience with most of her namesake products has been good, I was excited to try JRB. Bobbi's expertise with color products has given me a very pretty and natural look, which is the outcome I always want to achieve. I also would like my products to be as cruelty-free as possible. I have tried all of the Jones Road Beauty products and the only ones I continue to use are the Lip Tint and eye shadows. The problem I have with many of the other products is the fragrant botanical oils in them. They irritate my skin and cause my eyes to water. This is also the case with some of the products from her namesake line, such as all the vitamin-enriched brand products. I wouldn't say I like the WTF, Cool Gloss, and MB products in the JRB line. Thanks for your honest appraisal. I have spent too much on products that don't work for me.
I’m a relatively new subscriber and really appreciate your style. I used the miracle balm. I’m 60 and have normal to oily skin. I found the balm to be sticky and too shimmery. I found that it clogged my pores. I have to be very careful with what products I choose and this product is not a fit. I want to thank you for your eyebrow tinting tutorial as I’ve incorporated it to my facial upkeep. My hair is silver and it’s important to keep my brows intact as the framing of the eyes is very important to me. Thank you and be well.
Thanks so much for your feedback about your experience with these products. I really like my viewers weighing in as well to see what’s really working and what’s not. glad you’re enjoying the other videos too! 💕
I have been wondering about how this product performs in real life, Thank you! . Ido have a question: what eye shadows look good with green eyes? Thank you again for your time.
Hi, glad this was helpful! I find that purple or plum tones, are great for green eyes, also a bronze shade (which has rose or reddish undertones) works great too!
Thanks for your honest review. I have very oily skin at age 59, after seeing your video and hearing that you had a break-out after 10 days of use, I will not be ordering this. I will continue to use the drugstore brands you have used and suggested in your the videos.
Oof! Thanks for doing this. I've never used Bobbie Brown but I did go to Jones website. I was in a rush, but the website was clumsy and confusing, kept pushing other products before I could decide. Was on phone and figured to try another day on computer. Somewhere along the line I gave them my email. Tons of spam every day. I unsubscribed and haven't looked back. The work to use product and scent tells me I made the right decision.
I bought several of her products including WTFoundation and Miracle Balm. Foundation is definitely sheer. If I build it up it is tacky. The MB fades very fast!! Face Pencil probably needs to be put on under the out foundation. For me… a lot of hype and very expensive.
I was curious about the miracle balm and admittedly I am still not sure what the purpose is. I’ve even emailed the company with questions and did not get an understandable answer. It feels sticky, thick and literally melts off my face in the S FL heat. Simply awful for me.
Yes, before she sold out to Estee Lauder. They even discontinued her original line of lipsticks, the ones that made her famous. I remember when her original line made it to my city in the early 90s - it was all subtle tones and quite a departure from the OTT makeup we were sporting in the 80s. Such a shame that she lost her original vision of cosmetics without gimmicks.
Jones Road miracle balm is horrible for me at least. Looks greasy on me and everyone I know that has used it. Terrible product, and I do love Bobbi brown makeup
No you were not to harsh. Alot of us retired people cant afford to buy and be disapointed, so thank you!😊
Exactly!
Thanks cindy! Yes, you don't mind spending if it's as amazing as it seems in the ads etc, but not if it doesn't live up to expectations 😏
Always appreciate your honest reviews on make-up products Kerry-Lou. As a professional make-up artist, your opinion is invaluable. I've been loving your 'shorts' too ❤😊
Thanks Jen, I always appreciate your feedback - we go back a long time now! 😁 Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the honesty, Kerry Lou. That's the most valuble thing you can give viewers (and the company).
Not harsh, just candid. Other reviews have been similarly unimpressed. Many complained that their hair would stick to their face and that was enough to keep me away. Thank you! There are some lovely cream products out there that are not greasy, so no need to compromise. Glad this was helpful! 😉

Thank you for this review. Not harsh. Softly honest. Having tried the miracle balm myself. I think you were quite delicate. I personally hated it.
Thank you, well it’s feedback from viewers like yourself who have actually tried these products, that is REALLY helpful to other viewers! 🙏🏻
Excellent review. Thank you so much. ❤
Thanks so much for an honest review I think that’s rare from a make up you tuber 😢
You’re welcome 😊 so glad you like this
Thanks for an honest review.
You're welcome, thanks so much!
Very useful! Not too harsh and so appreciated. I tried the miracle balm and it didn't work too well for me either. Not enough color.
You are so beautiful 😍!! Thank you for the honest review! I have been considering those products.
Thank you! Glad this was helpful, thanks for watching!

I think being who she is why did she not make a better line of makeup her old line was much better
Yes, before she sold out to Estee Lauder. They even discontinued her original line of lipsticks, the ones that made her famous. I ordered Miracle Balm when they had their promotion of 4 colors. I wasn’t impressed.
🌹
I tried WTF twice...I loved the look, but it felt too greasy. I did not enjoy the feel at all.
Thanks for sharing, it really helps others make informed buying decisions!
Thank you I know I can't afford it. So I'll use my cheaper makeup that works just as good
thank you #KerryLou
You're welcome Linda, hope you're feeling better 🙏🏻
I did not care for Jones Road products. I particularly did not care for the scent of the miracle balm. I was not impressed.
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated!
I don't understand why products that are thick and essentially greasy are supposed to look natural..
Harsh no, honest!
Thank you! 🌸
Jones Road miracle balm is horrible for me at least. Looks greasy on me and everyone I know that has used it. Terrible product, and I do love Bobbi brown makeup
yes, I prefer the original BB products in general.😌
This line is made by Bobbi Brown and it's just so bad. What was Bobbi Brown thinking with this garbage.
