Thank you Kerry! Great look! We'll be picking up some of the things you presented here. I also want to thank for these tutorials. My wife went through cancer treatments, and I found that makeup helped her feel better, especially through that period when she lost her hair, and throughout her extensive recovery period. I learned from you what to get, and how to put on her makeup. You have blessed us through some very difficult months. God bless you Kerry, and thank you very much.
Did you ever hear about the Look Good Feel Better program (I think that's the name of it)? There are probably others that provide makeovers and gift products. I had breast cancer and the hospital had a program where we got professionally fitted and given 2 bras. There are a lot of good resources out there.
What a wonderful sweet and caring person you are, I feel honored to be a VERY small part of your makeup ritual/healing. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I mentioned in this video that "I know it's only makeup, but..." We all have times when we look in the mirror, and maybe it's not a "kind mirror" and we believe what we see. We also believe when we see a good reflection - our eyes see it, our brain process it (ooh, we're looking good today!) and we send that message to every cell in our body! Words like yours motivate me to keep up with this channel! Wishing you and your wife all the very best! 🙏🏻
I prefer products from Sephora than Ulta. I am a bit upset, Sephora was Moved and Ulta was the makeup store left. I even. Prefer Sephora products . Do you have an opinion about moisturizing with Josie Maran Argon Oil....not the butter.
Thank you. I’m 64, newly retired US Air Force. Active Duty makeup is very limited, more so in my career. Even though I never lost my feminine attitude, I did pack it away. Now, a civilian, I can go back to the makeup freedom of my early 20’s. I went to several makeup counters and asked for tips from women much younger than myself and got puzzled looks. “How could a grown woman not know how to use makeup?” I’ve purchased your recommended items, or as close as possible and I’m going to “play” with makeup looks. It DOES wash off! I’m also single and now have time to date again. So many ‘first’s” that had to wait! I may be retired, but I’m not dead! Thanks again.
I’ve worn makeup forever and you have taught me how to achieve this no makeup look. I am a bit older than you…still have good skin. This video was wonderful. Thank you so much!
This is the first time I have seen a genuine no-makeup look, you are just enhancing your natural beauty rather than creating a mask and it looks beautiful. I am 40 and have never really worn makeup but am finding that I don't feel like myself as my face is changing, but you have helped me to feel more confident in using makeup to feel myself again but without having to paint on a mask. You look fabulous, and you have inspired me to see experimenting with makeup as something I can enjoy and don't need to be afraid of. Thank you ❤
I am 71 and have a beautiful complexion. I only use concealer, a natural tone lipstick and light mascara. I have never put anything on my face but Pond's Cold Cream.
Bravo! Finally I see someone who really looks natural with a simple makeup. Most people think by spending hundreds of dollars with high brand names of makeup are going to look the best, but that's not the case in my opinion. If you are in your sixty you look in your fifty instead madam. Grea video
I am mourning for my dog today when I Came across your video. You loook great and so young. The pace, the energy and your voice is just soothing for me. You are so soft spoken, you talk to us like Im really in front of you, the right company I need for now. A new subscriber here ❤ thank you and have a great day ❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard when you lose a family member, especially when they are our four footed ones. Sending peaceful and happy thoughts out to you.
I am your age. I've been looking for a way to just brighten my look. Your tutorial was fabulous! Thank you for taking the time to show how to achieve this look. Just beautiful.🌹
I’m 75 and have wanted to continue using makeup, but neither knew what to buy nor how to apply it. Thank you for your tutorial! All your suggestions fit my budget. Your manner was delightful and and I 29:09 loved😢 listening to you😊
Yep! L'Oreal True match NUDE, is my Favorite foundation!! I use ELF Whoa Glow, as a base, then dot on the foundation, I use a sponge to pounce and bounce it on. Then a light dusting of blush, contour with Anastasia Beverly hills bronzer. If I need it I use NYX Can't stop Won't Stop Concealer. I finish with a final light dusting of Cover Girl ageless blurring pressed powder, with a brush. I'm 60, and this is what works for me. Thanks for posting, stay beautiful and be kind!
You are so unpretentious and your demeanor is soothing. One important criteria for me is cruelty free products. Always check to be sure no critters were harmed in the process. 🦋
Kerry-Lou, so happy I found your beautiful self! Thank you so much for this particular video. After years of illness in which I lost use for my beloved make-up, I want to try again. This is when, though new & numerous choices are *great*, it's so overwhelming trying to shop for a whole new regimen of cosmetics! 😘🙏💜
Hey, Kerry Lou. After watching your video I went out and purchased a bottle of L’Oréal true match plumping tinted serum foundation with 1% pure hyaluronic acid. I chose shade 3-4 light to medium. I cannot thank you enough for bringing this to my attention. I have spent $100’s over the years on foundations that just didn’t work for me. Either to dark, to light, to think etc.. This L’Oréal true match serum is perfect. It’s best feature is it’s ability to cover without looking overdone. It goes on smoothly and beautifully. As long as this product remains on the shelves this will be my go to foundation long into my sixties seventies and beyond. So thank Kerry - Lou ❤
Thank you, SO glad this was useful to you! I feel the same way - and if you've watched my channel before, you know I don't shy away from high end foundations!
Absolutely love the look. Looks natural, but healthy. Thank you so much for sharing. I always enjoy watching your videos. I always learn something useful.
Hello beautiful Kerry Lou, You just found yourself a new subscriber and huge fan from Paris 💃🏻 I loved your video👌 So refreshing to have someone with a few lines and blemishes talk about products and makeup techniques😉 I’m a 68 year old retired graphic artist who has spent more time in hospitals than at home during the past seven years. My skin, however, is remarkably resilient in spite of age and 80 pounds lost in the past 3 years😮 My main issue with makeup is numerous dark spots (due to reckless sunbathing in the 70s!) and expression lines that don’t respond well to concealers and foundations, with good coverage😮 I’d totally given up on makeup, but decided to give it another go, a couple of months ago😅 I’ve followed hours of tutorials on skin care and makeup on UA-cam ever since and have been loving it🤩 I feel so light and carefree playing around with colors and brushes. Must be the child in me craving to come out and play🌈🥳 That said, I do wish I had come upon your channel sooner! It would have saved me so much money on products I don’t really use🙃 I’d love to know which microcurrent device you’re testing? Haven’t been able to decide on one myself and they can be so pricey😝 I read somewhere that some are not to be used if you have implants (which is my case)🤪 I’ll check out all your other videos to see if I can find more goodies😋 Have a great weekend and keep up the good work! By the way you look absolutely gorgeous, not a day over 50👏👌🥰😘
Thanks so much for sharing your story, I think everyone enjoys learning more about people, and what they're going through, in this community. The 'top secret' device I'm testing is the Ziip, and now it's my most used device, and I really see a difference in muscle and skin tone on my face. I'll do a review within the next month. Are you talking about dental implants? I hope the hospital visits are in the past now, and wish you the best of health and happiness!💪🏻💕
@@kerrylou3 Thank you so much for your warm and concerned response🙏 The hospitals are a semi thing of the past, but I’m slowly getting there 😂 The implants effectively are dental! Can’t wait for your feedback on Ziip💖
What a lovely look. My skin has never liked foundation, so I swap it out for tinted sunscreen over vitamin c and serum. Concealers can be tricky: some are gluey, others, as you say, are a strange pigment; importantly, as you say, less is always best. Great idea to use the same concealer for eyeshadow base, saves on useless and greasy primers! Thanks for the tip on contouring- I could never make it work, so I'm skipping it. Cheers for your expensive look on a budget❤
Thank you! For a long time I have struggled with some kind of foundation that would work with my aging skin this video has basically made me feel good about wearing makeup again I did buy the products have been following the tutorial each time I'm using it and really just wanted to say thank you from a 62-year-old woman
You are lovely! Thank-you for this episode. I'm a 'barely there' make up person but age caught up and no I have no idea how to make myself look better. This has helped no end. Xx
If there is only one thing I have leaned today about makeup is your tip about using dark eye shadow on the lash line instead of eye liner - brilliant! I can tell you at the end of the day removing eye liner even if it is the smudge variety (not waterproof) it is tiresome and tedious. What a breeze to remove just shadow - love it!
Tightlining may the best technique I ever mastered. Defines my hooded eyes without the heavy appearance created by lining the top of the lashes. Even with nude matte shadow colors and very light lower lash lining, I never skip tightlining. And no thick full brows. It's too harsh on older faces, mine included.
@@IWillHaveThePastaThanks .. it's a technique most often using liquid or gel eyeliner, sometimes powder shadow or crayon, where you stamp in between the upper lashes bit by bit using a flat, tapered tip synthetic brush. About 3/4 ths of the eyelid "arc" is done for the most natural look.
Thank you Kerry Lou! I love your videos! I, too, looked everywhere, including Ulta and Amazon for Magenta lip balm by Burt's Bees, but no luck finding it.
Hello Kerry-Lou! Is always a pleasure to see and hear you ... and learn from you ... Thank you so much for this sugestions, tricks and tips ... loved the final look ... my cup of tea! THANK you!
Hi, Kerry-Lou! I just discovered you yesterday while looking for tips on what to do with natural curly hair. I love your videos and tips on everything! I am 71, have Macular Degeneration so it is harder now to put makeup on and even do my hair but you explain things so completely as you do them, it makes me feel like I can do it! Thank you!
I picked up the NYX contour stick and love it! Both the fair shade & the highlighter with it are awesome! Vegan too which was a must. I love that it is a cool shade & so easy to apply. Thank you for the video! So glad I found it.
I noticed my face being paler this summer than last summer. So obviously I’m using more sunscreen. I normally don’t wear makeup. But I love watching you since you’re a professional showing us how to do it the right way. The last time I tried to do my makeup I ended up washing it all off. I used to wear makeup everyday when I worked. Then just when I went out in public. No I don’t wear it at all. I’ve seen people line their water lines. I have very sensitive eyes and could never do that. But what you did with the water on the brush and putting it on your eyelid I can do. You look great when you’re done. You looked fine without makeup. But the cheaper the better in my book.
Thanks so much for your feedback Pamela. Regarding lining the waterline, I think it's a healthy reaction for our eyes to react to it - it's foreign matter going into our eyes! 😊
Kerry Lou, I really appreciate your videos. As I’ve aged (64) I really didn’t know how to adjust my makeup with my changing skin and looks. Your videos have really helped!!
Thank you so much Kerry! You are so lovely, and I have seen a few of your videos when you let your hair go curly too. I love your tips, and having been a make up artist for many years, I must tell you I am impressed and love your tips! Thank you again! I'll be looking for more of your videos. You truly are a natural beauty and show us how to look that way, as well.
I love this look! And how nice to have info on drugstore price range makeup. I still feel my best when wearing makeup, but am finding I like a natural look for everyday. Thanks for all the great info.
Another great video. I’m trying to go for a simpler, less fussy makeup look, so I was very interesting what you had to say. I also have that particular Colorpop palette and I can’t begin to tell you how often I’ve used it over the past two years that I’ve had it. There’s a color for every occasion!
Thank you Kerry-Lou for the excellent tutorial. I am not a heavy makeup user. Retired and don't worry about it much. Never wore much when I worked either. But this tutorial I am going to try. I like a touch of makeup but still natural. I appreciate your suggestions and tools and tricks. Thanks again, Kerry-Lou.
You're welcome! I don't use makeup everyday, maybe a little concealer and tinted lip gloss, (my lips have hardly any color). I wear it if were going out for something social usually, not just around the house though, definitely no makeup at the gym etc. Nice to pull out a few tricks when you want to, or if you're feeling blah! 😉
I’m a no makeup look kinda gal so yr video was just perfect for me. Tbh, I think I’d look like a clown if I went a little further out of the box, but I would like to experiment more & that’s why I have a whole a new haul of makeup & accessories. I just need to sit down & play. I’m glad I’ve bumped into yr channel today.
I just bought a whole new haul of makeup too.. I am 73yrs old and have been very sick, but now I am feeling a little better and hope to just have some fun with my makeup. Hugs from Biloxi, MS USA
So pretty kerry lou! I love when you use less expensive products. I buy things from your recommendations and am never disappointed. You recommended L’Oréal lipstick in the shade sugar plum and it’s definitely more of a rose than a plum and has become a favorite of mine!
So beautiful and thank you for this. One thing I’m noticing which is great, these products seem to blend nicely without being to rough and pulling the skin. 😊
I just discovered your channel today, and it's lovely. I like your no makeup look! I tend to do a no makeup look most of the time, and I've really loved the L'Oreal 4 in 1 Tinted Balm for that. It's very light and natural. I also use that same Burt's Bees Red Dahlia lip balm! Very nice to "meet" you.
Great advice...I bought the serum foundation today and the "elf" blusher in the shades you used as we are very similar colouring, I'm delighted with the result.Thankyou Keri Lou for all your videos.
I'm so glad to see that I made a good choices, I recently bought two of the products you showed us. Even I learned a tip from one of them. ❤❤❤ thanks Kerry Lou
I just loved this tutorial Kerry-Lou. I am almost 60 and have noticed myself wanting to wear less make up with a more natural and natural look as I get older. This tutorial was very helpful and I love how real and honest you are. I also enjoyed your makeup tips such as mixing my foundation with my moisturiser. I am looking forward to experimenting for a softer more natural look. I was pleasantly surprised that I already had Bert’s bees lip balm in Magenta 😂 Thank you again Kerry-Lou ❤
Good morning Kerry Lou, enjoying my ☕️with your wonderful video! Alway love it when you use only drugstore products 😊 after we were stuck home from Covid, I use less makeup when going on errands 😊 a little sparkle on my lids. Have a great week 😎
Good morning! Mmm, enjoy that coffee - first cups always the best. I think most people are doing less since Covid, and even though I'm a makeup artist - I think that's a good thing! Thanks 😘
Hi Kerry, I really enjoyed this video. It's without a doubt my favorite makeup. Super natural and fresh. I love it. Thank you very much for sharing. I love your videos. Blessings and greetings ❤🥰🌹
I really appreciate your videos and all this make up is budget friendly and will look great on mature skin. Thanks so much. BTW, your hair pulled back looks great
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out this video, glad you liked it! It's so hot here at the moment, so good to just pull the hair back. I find if I pull it back, but make sure I do good lips 👄 - it works! 😁
Hi Kerry Lou! I love your videos. Life’s been so very hectic lately and taking minute to watch your videos is such a nice break. Thank you! Have you ever tried BOOM cosmetics? I think you would simply love them on your no makeup days. I actually wear BOOM on light makeup days as well as dressing up. It’s all natural and very good for our skin. Many thanks again for brightening my day! 🤗💕
LOOOOOVE these vids……. I once had my make up done when I was in my 20s in the 80s at the mall I don’t think I ever ran so fast to my car and got home and wash my face. It was awful! I like the new make up, make up, look less is more.🥰🥰🥰🥰
Agreed , I feel prepping my skin is important, and even no make up look , if going outside important to have a bit of spf, and sheerer type primer with vit c and e and spf 30...Thank you You are Beautiful 💕
Love this no makeup look with less expensive brands for getting out in the everyday! I don't have much luck with finger tip application. Can you consider a video with tips using brushes and sponges?
Hi, thanks for watching this morning, you early bird! I started by applying a (new for me) serum called Illuminate by "Naked and Thriving" then moisturized with old favorite, Intensive Moisture Balance by Dermalogica. Have a great day!
Makeup was fun then dear!! I did the same! Here in the US it was The British Invasion! Mary Quant makeup, Twiggy lashes, on and on! I wore 3 pair of lashes! Miniskirts! On and on… So that was OUR generations fashion and look… it was a blast!! And we did it well♥️😂‼️🙋♀️ having said that? I loved this video! Thank you Darling♥️‼️🥰⭐️
Haha! you took me back in time there Sue! That's exactly the influence I'm talking about! Thank you, so nice to have people out there that get what I'm talking about! 😄
Hi Kerry Lou! I just saw your channel for the first time today and immediately subscribed. This is because your presentation is very pleasant and relaxed, your tips are well explained and easy to follow and you use affordable products. I look forward to watching more from your channel-thanks!🩷
Thanks so much! I do feel that as our skin improves with good skincare, we need less skin makeup. You could always mix your foundation with a little moisturizer or primer, and when you run out of your current foundation, get one like Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint, it's very light textured. rstyle.me/+CCh0dMlI170Qr4CHBgcMrA
It's more make up than I expected but you look beautiful with and without the no makeup look. The big difference is you look more polished. I really appreciate that you went for more affordable products. I will give some a try. I'd like to look more polished when I have to go to work.
I’m happy to see elf HD powder in your routine! Sometimes I just use their pink blurring primer and some hd powder in the T zone, sunglasses and a lip gloss on a hot summer day 😎
Hello Kerry Lou! I tried the L’Oréal serum foundation but had to return as the 2 lightest shades were either too light or too dark. I am a difficult tone to shade match. But, the reformulated L’ORÉAL True Match Super Blendable foundation has a much broader shade range in various undertones and a blessed winner. I often only wear lipstick and no other makeup (love lipstick…it makes me happy!). But when I want to look a bit more polished, that is my go-to foundation. In fact I tossed some high end like NARS, Charlotte Tilbury. I kept ABH and Haus Labs but seldom reach for them. The True Match SB is so sheer, evens out my tone and looks like skin. I mix a lighter shade with my face shade as concealer under my eyes on days when I don’t need much concealing and it blends out seamlessly. Again, just looks like skin. I have the NYX Wonderstick in Universal Light as it warms up my complexion a touch, where Fair looks a bit corpse-ish on my very light skin. I squished the end of mine too when I forgot to twist it back down. Ha! Anyway… love the fresh, no makeup look! Thank you for all the tips.
Thank you, I love hearing all the great feedback here - we get to learn what's really working! I will try the reformulated L'Oreal for sure! All the best to you! 😘

Good morning! Glad you like this look! 😘
Yes! As my mom used to say, “we don’t want to look like circus queens!”😂
@@msr1116 What is tightlining?
@@IWillHaveThePastaThanks .. it's a technique most often using liquid or gel eyeliner, sometimes powder shadow or crayon, where you stamp in between the upper lashes bit by bit using a flat, tapered tip synthetic brush. About 3/4 ths of the eyelid "arc" is done for the most natural look.
Thank you Kerry Lou! I love your videos! I, too, looked everywhere, including Ulta and Amazon for Magenta lip balm by Burt's Bees, but no luck finding it.
I found it in CVS (I will update my information in the video description, thank you!
You truly age with style! Loving this 'No Makeup' look!
Thank you so much
Hello Kerry-Lou! Is always a pleasure to see and hear you ... and learn from you ... Thank you so much for this sugestions, tricks and tips ... loved the final look ... my cup of tea! THANK you!
You are so welcome! so glad you liked this! 😘
Thank you!
You are adorable! Thank you very much for this video! I love the look for every day!!!
A huge amount of appreciation & love for you & a big thanks for this video with affordable products.
My pleasure 😊 thanks so much!
Loving the make up items you used. I'll have to try some of them. I also appreciate your attitude towards make-up. Thanks, Kerry-Lou!
Thank you so much for watching, glad you liked this!
Thank you, that really means a lot to me! ☺️
Thank you for your sweet words, and for your support! 🌸
Hi Kerry Lou,I love that natural look in makeup.Perfect for us aging beauties.Thank you for that informative and pleasant to listen to video.
You are so welcome! And thanks so much for watching! 😘
❤️
Thx! Love your directions to achieve a very pretty “no makeup” look😊
Oh thank you!
I love this look! And how nice to have info on drugstore price range makeup. I still feel my best when wearing makeup, but am finding I like a natural look for everyday. Thanks for all the great info.
So glad you liked this, thanks for your feedback!
Your style and positivity while teaching women. Thank you so much❤
It's my pleasure, thank you! 🌸
Great tutorial, Kerry and thank you!
You are so welcome!
L’Oréal Telescopic mascara is really good. It lengthens your eyelashes without getting all clumpy.
I love the colorpop lipgloss it’s really pretty.
Thank you, I love L'Oreal mascaras and I just bought the new Panorama - I will try the Telescopic also and compare!
Beautiful look,thank you ❤️
Another great video. I’m trying to go for a simpler, less fussy makeup look, so I was very interesting what you had to say. I also have that particular Colorpop palette and I can’t begin to tell you how often I’ve used it over the past two years that I’ve had it. There’s a color for every occasion!
Thanks Karen! yes, their palettes are lovely! I like the smaller ones too for travel.
you are so wonderful to listen to, your voice and mannerisms are so soothing for me. Thank you a bunch
Love so much your no makeup look.Simply and fresh.Thank you ❤
You are so welcome! Thank you 😁
Thank you Kerry-Lou for the excellent tutorial.
Love your channel Kerry Lou, so relatable for us gals of a certain age and wallet, many thanks ❤🇺🇸
Thank yo so much, glad you liked this!
Thanks, so glad you liked this! Good to keep a sense of play with makeup for sure!😘
I'm so glad, thank you! I still really love that lipstick, it's an unusual shade that seems to look good on everyone!
@@kerrylou3 i completely agree!
You look great! I love that you left your hair color as its beautiful natural color, just like my mom. Very few ladies have the courage to do so.
Thank you so much! 😊
So beautiful and thank you for this. One thing I’m noticing which is great, these products seem to blend nicely without being to rough and pulling the skin. 😊
Good point! Glad you liked this 😉
I just discovered your channel today, and it's lovely. I like your no makeup look! I tend to do a no makeup look most of the time, and I've really loved the L'Oreal 4 in 1 Tinted Balm for that. It's very light and natural. I also use that same Burt's Bees Red Dahlia lip balm! Very nice to "meet" you.
Thanks so much - I'll have to check out that formula!
Great advice...I bought the serum foundation today and the "elf" blusher in the shades you used as we are very similar colouring, I'm delighted with the result.Thankyou Keri Lou for all your videos.
So glad this worked for you, thanks for letting me know! 🤗
You look very pretty and natural. Thanks for the video! 😊❤

I'm so glad to see that I made a good choices, I recently bought two of the products you showed us. Even I learned a tip from one of them. ❤❤❤ thanks Kerry Lou

I liked your tip about combining the serum w/ the foundation. I will do that!
I was pleasantly surprised that I already had Bert’s bees lip balm in Magenta 😂
Thank you again Kerry-Lou ❤
Glad it was helpful Helen, thanks so much for watching! 😘
Just the look I was searching for. Thank you.

This is the first time watching you so informative ♥️👍👍Thank you
LOOOOOVE these vids……. I once had my make up done when I was in my 20s in the 80s at the mall I don’t think I ever ran so fast to my car and got home and wash my face. It was awful! I like the new make up, make up, look less is more.🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you, so glad you liked this - I think we've all had moments like that haha!
Agreed , I feel prepping my skin is important, and even no make up look , if going outside important to have a bit of spf, and sheerer type primer with vit c and e and spf 30...Thank you You are Beautiful 💕
You are so beautiful and thank you for sharing the No Makeup' Makeup Tutorial.
You are so welcome! Thank you 🙏🏻

Excent típs!!
A true proffesional making it so easy for wveryone to follow ..thank you!!
Love this no makeup look with less expensive brands for getting out in the everyday! I don't have much luck with finger tip application. Can you consider a video with tips using brushes and sponges?
Hi! Thank you! You are great! What moisturizer did you put on your face before you started the make up?
Hi, thanks for watching this morning, you early bird! I started by applying a (new for me) serum called Illuminate by "Naked and Thriving" then moisturized with old favorite, Intensive Moisture Balance by Dermalogica. Have a great day!
Thank you! x
In fact in Cyprus it is afternoon! Perfect time to watch friends helping us remain fresh and look pretty 🌸
You are a natural beauty and i love your no makeup look❤️
Thanks so much, glad you liked this!
Am 63, from Manila Philippines. Thank you n mabuhay.
Wow you are beautiful 😍 Great tips. I’m slowly transitioning out of foundation since I feel it ages me at times.
@@kerrylou3 thank you!!! ❤️
You looked fabulous in everything…
Black slacks and white shirt💖💖💖
Thank you! 😘
It's more make up than I expected but you look beautiful with and without the no makeup look. The big difference is you look more polished. I really appreciate that you went for more affordable products. I will give some a try. I'd like to look more polished when I have to go to work.
Thank you, glad you liked this - you could definitely modify and do less than shown here. 😉
I’m happy to see elf HD powder in your routine! Sometimes I just use their pink blurring primer and some hd powder in the T zone, sunglasses and a lip gloss on a hot summer day 😎
You look beautiful! You make it look so easy!
Oh thank you!
Thank you for the tip about the serum.😊
My pleasure 😊
The absolutely under eye conceler is Nars Creme Bulee. I looks so natural and a little goes along way. Not cheap but so worth it!
Thanks for sharing! 😉
