"The ramblings of a 45-year old man" in his bathrobe and I AM HERE FOR IT. ❤️ Love you, Wayne!
YES
This 44 year old woman is right there too! Wayne is just so considerate of his listeners, honest and instructive. Love him.🥰
We are ALL here for it. All of us, and we wait for your videos to drop because you are more to us than how you see yourself. WE VALUE YOU AND WHAT YOU DO. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your husband! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Here for it!
Wayne has gotten more handsome as time has gone on. He has aged well❤
To the Perfect Age 💙
Very, very well. ❤
He certainly gets more handsome!
Agree he is very handsome and has such a lovely accent.
Glad he covered Jones Road. I have some of the line , but the smell is so unpleasant for me. I hope she can develop it without fragrance.
Wayne is like a fine wine❤
I think since Bobby Brown is older, she realizes most older skin is dry and loses luster. This product gives us life again! Younger people can wear it too if their skin is more on the dryer side, but I feel her makeup is geared towards us old folks who want to look our best with little to no effort. It's a freakin' miracle! lol
I agree I just wish that I could afford the product!
Dry skin girl here! Works great on my skin❤
I’m older and drier. Both the balm and foundation make me look like a greasy mess that emphasizes every flaw and wrinkle
@@catnip4587Omgggg I’ve heard that from MANY UA-camRS. They say it stays gray all day, like Vaseline lol so glad I never invested in her balms yuck!!
Happens to us Alllllll
As a woman in her mid sixties I can tell you that these products totally changed my life. They are beautiful on but are also a skin care product and so my skin has become more like it used to look and I have a natural glow now even without it on.
So glad I saw your post! I am soon pushing on to my 70’s (wow that was hard to say) and the question I posed to Wayne was whether the product felt like you just Vaselined your face. It is similar to another product that was popular several years ago in stick form and I couldn’t wait to get it off my face. It felt somewhat heavy, greasy, looked greasy and smelled like petroleum, not pleasant. So would you be able to answer my question on how it feels and smells? I am anxious to find something that doesn’t exemplify my wrinkles and can help my skin feel and look smoother more radiant. Thanks for your help in advance😊
@@kimzimmerman2492I have the dusty rose one - absolutely gorgeous. The scent is really nice - not at all like Vaseline, more a spa like scent if you know what I mean (but not heavy as you only need a tiny bit). The texture is hard to describe- I’d say more like a lipstick texture than Vaseline which is more sticky. Once it’s on and patted well in I don’t feel it at all, but you only need to use it sparingly - if you put a big blob on then yes it would probably feel quite sticky. I’m someone who hardly ever bothers with make up (except for maybe lipstick occasionally) and this sits well with me. The look is really subtle and glowing without looking very makeupy.
@@lindsayrendall Thank you so much for answering my question so thoroughly I truly appreciate it!
I have dark circles. Would this product offer enough coverage? Do you have this problem?
@@kimzimmerman2492 it can feel heavy if you apply too many layers. I will say that even though it can leave a tacky feeling on the face that I have noticed it holds moisture in. Having really dry skin, to me it feels good.
One of my favorite things about your videos is that you get to the point without a lengthy preamble!
The consistency is something I can’t get past. I love the color, but when I wore it, my hair stuck on my face constantly ! I tried so hard to use less, pat it in for minutes, let it stay on my face for 30 minutes before I let my hair down. But my hair was drawn to it. So I have it, but don’t use it.
That would drive me nuts.
I've heard this from others too.
Maybe try powdering it?
I haven't tried it because there's many reviews as yours. It seems more work than payoff. Thanks for sharing 😊
I have fine hair and it sticks in emollient type blushers 😮. I'm trying to find a cream blush that isn't sticky.
I’m 64, and I have the Jones Road foundation and the Miami Beach miracle balm. At first, I was concerned that both would be heavy and tacky, but I found it gave my skin a dewy look and the color on my cheeks was very natural looking. After wearing it for a while, my skin began to crave the moisture it provided. I will be trying out other shades in the future. I believe Bobby Brown wants every woman to look beautiful, and I think she has some of the best beauty products on the market.
How does it work with a setting powder? That's the only reason I haven't tried them.
@@TK-ij2xi I don't think this is a good foundation for a powder. A powder would definitely clump and accumulate in lines and creases. But I may be wrong making this blanket statement. Others may find using a powder with Jones Road works just fine.
@@TK-ij2xiI use it with the Mally Beauty setting balm and it works great. I also had a lot of concerns when I first started using the Jones Roads products, but love them.
I wonder how long the color intensity lasts. Does it fade in time, leaving an oily smear or stay pure?
@@Mickey--yd7te I'm just not at the place yet to go without a light dusting of powder to set my concealer. I'm not even wearing foundation anymore but concealer, contour, blush. I've been curious but I wasn't sure how I'd like it. Too bad you can't buy mini samples.....
Tried the Miracle Balm and the WTFoundation, damn near $100, and they were a waste of money.
The foundation felt like lipgloss on my face, it never set, and showed every imperfection.
The balm didn't last at all, and if I tried it over a different foundation, it pulled the base off.
Gave them to my sis, she likes them.
Lipgloss for the face is the perfect way to describe it. The smell alone put me off, smelled like Carmex.
I love the foundation cream from RMS. It is just the best if you are looking for creamy but not too sticky
Agreed. Loved the concept but the product did not work for me.
ok this is the review i wanted... exactly what i was curious about
I've met Bobbi a few times. She's very kind, loves natural beauty and is beautiful herself. I used to work with her team a bit and was a manager of one of her counters close to her studio. It was the best training I've had with a brand.
I’ll bet she’s kind. We made her a multi-multi millionaire.
Loved your videos i believe you did a few and you look great
I just want to say THANK YOU for just getting to the product and saying what needs to be said without a 10 minute (or longer) intro. Your videos are exactly how every product review should be. To the point, informative and valuable!!!
Amen!
These balm products are really ideal for mature skin and as she has aged and matured I think she has come to value creating makeup for mature skin. It’s sad but most of these creatives don’t always seem to care to create for bodies they don’t relate to unless forced 😢.
Calling people “bodies” is so damn strange
I’ve been so curious, but since it has no sunscreen, do you put this over your sunscreen. If so, there is no way for it not to be sticky all day. I wish she sold small containers that I could use for travel when I need extra moisture.
@@dhp5814 2x a year Jones Road sells sets of smaller containers. You can't pick the color though, but that's how I tried it. Just recently was the spring sale. Came with Happy Hour, Dusty Rose, Flushed and Bronze. Not sure, but expect the next similar sale will be the holidays.
Hi Love! I am so glad you made this video. I am a 47 year old black woman, but I look younger than 47. I have been using the miracle balm and I like all of the shades I purchased. I don’t like the wet stickiness feeling, but other than that minor inconvenience, great product. It does not clog the pores and it does create a great natural looking shine. Thank you! 💗🤗🥰
Wow you are not lying when you say you look younger! ❤
Wayne, I can attest to her having a great sense of humor. I represented Bobbie Brown cosmetics at Neiman Marcus in SF and she came out to do a promotion. She’s a very funny lady, and she gets it from her dad, whom she brought along during this event. We had such a great time with her and her dad…he is so proud of her.
Same! I used to work for her and met her several times. She’s a hoot!
@@valhoff3wow that’s so great to hear! If someone compliments the higher up that’s the real deal. Thank you for letting us know!
What a great story :)
Why did you misspell her name?
Aww! I miss downtown SF my old stomping ground
I love the smell you need the tiniest amount but if you have dry skin its heaven like you said so pretty.
My youtube has been filled with ads for these products. I'm glad to hear a review from someone I trust.
I love Jones Road. I really love the Miracle Balm. Jones Road has a chart that will tell you which ones are best for highlighting and such. Bobbi is now creating products for her age group.. getting older means we want more dewy products. I've really been loving the products.
Me too!
I have the what the foundation... I like the finish... Hate the smell
Her single shadows are wonderful! I also love the brow pencil.
Where can I find the chart?
@@barbarabolden4861 the brand's facebook and instagram has it
I LOVE all the Jones Road products- esp the Miracle Balms & mascara. HOWEVER - I live in Arizona in an incredibly dry climate. These products save my skin. Probably in a damp climate they will be quite tricky.
I live in Arkansas - very humid. The Miracle Balm just doesn’t stay on in this climate.
Exactly. I had high hopes for this, I’m mid 50s and got the natural glow one. It’s pretty humid in the summer when I live and I feel like it makes me look sweaty. It’s very shiny.
I knew enough not to even try it until the dead of winter when those cold NY winters blow.
I'm in Las Vegas and agree that these products are great in the dry climate.
I live in AZ too- do you use on top of a foundation &/or concealer? Or do you use instead of? I don’t really understand these products
I bought this online and found it was just like Vaseline on the face. I asked them if I could send it back and get a refund as I’d never ever use it.
They were very nice about it and told me they would refund me ( which they did ) and that I could keep the product and use it as a lip gloss or gift it to someone
Sweaty, it's a balm
they told me to just put powder on it. The miracle bomb is such a terrible product
@@francesmarlowe4218 I use it as a lip balm now which is really nice. It’s so big , it’ll last for years !!!
I used Bobbi Brown products exclusively and loved them. So so disappointed by this so called miracle balm. To me the miracle is that she manages to sell any. …….. they have such bad reviews
It’s a mix of waxes and oils, so in that sense it’s rather like shoe polish. I used to make my own face and body moisturising bars, and so I’ve learned how and why wax/oil blends are useful. I believe oils are often absorbed by the skin and help with moisture retention that way. But, oils are not as good at forming a water-proof, long-lasting, protective barrier on the surface of skin, compared to waxes. Hence why shoe polish incorporates wax, not just oil. There are components of human sebum that are more similar to wax too. This is why an oil/wax blend can be very helpful for protecting skin from drying out, especially if you have dry skin.
Oil/wax blends often have the consistency of Vaseline when melted and applied. However, Vaseline is a synthetic product derived from petroleum and sits on top of the skin only. It is not absorbed so tends to remain ‘tacky’. In my experience, wax/oil blends derived from plants give a different result if left sitting on the skin for some time. I believe this is because the oil components are absorbed into the uppermost layer of the skin, but the wax remains at the surface, continuing to provide a waterproof barrier. At this point, my skin no longer feels tacky but the wax layer provides a very smooth finish. I get exactly the same feel when I use my own homemade balms, which combine cocoa butter, almond oil and beeswax. If you can wait out the ‘tacky’ stage, I think the protective and textural benefits of products containing natural waxes are well worth it.
Wow. I should have done the same.
I never, ever, ever watch makeup tutorials on UA-cam until I found you. You’re an incredibly lovely man, and your first video I watched of you was on your review of Jones Road Miracle Balm. I loved the way you presented the product, showed how to apply it, and did so without 3:47 overdoing it the way so many of these beauty influencers do. I’m a 66 year old woman that has been blessed with unwrinkled and beautiful skin (thank god for good genetics). I happen to love almost all of Jones Roads products especially for a woman of a certain age. When applied correctly these products can make us beautiful older women look even better. Thanks for your great reviews (and yes I remember Bobbie way back when, and I do have a naughty dark sense of humor). Try the Miracle Balm in Tawny it’s amazing on almost any skin color.
Maybe with age she has found the perfect solution to making skin look more youthful with all the shimmer in her products. I love everything I’ve bought from Jones Road!
Being over 50 with dry skin I find the Miracle Balm perfect!
I have Dusty Rose, Au Natural, Bronze and Happy Hour.
I am not a fan of wearing a lot of makeup so concealer, Miracle Balm, the Jones Road eye stick, face stick and some mascara is all I need on a casual day.
I do use a huge, fluffy brush and lightly run a fine milled neutral finishing powder over my face.
There was a learning curve but I really love the Miracle Balm. ☺️
If you were to only buy one for an all-over kind of healthy,( sun-kissed) glow (I'm a medium-light beige brunette, with ultra-dull skin, like most of us over 50) what would you start with?
@@black_sheep_nation bronze,
Don’t panic when you first open it, it looks dark but on the skin it’s great for summer.
@@MeMyselfandAllTheRest thanks so much! I appreciate the advice! 😃
I love, love, LOVE this product. I am 56 years old and I live in Southern California. I have a real variety of colors and use them as you have, different areas, give myself both color, radiance, flush and a bit of contouring. I love how it feels on my skin. Thank you for reviewing this and sharing this product with ladies who will appreciate the feeling on their skin.
I can't help but think of the no-nonsense approach of the legendary Way Bandy when watching Wayne Goss. Bandy's Styling Your Face book was the first make-up tutorial I ever followed.
I had that book too and loved it.
I worked with Way Bandy. He did my face a few times for Mademoiselle and Glamour. I miss him. Funny you brought his name up Wayne Goss reminds me of Way.
I absolutely adore the Miracle Balm. I’m a 60 yr old woman with quite dry skin and I have the balm in several colors and it is truly a miracle for me. I wear the bronze for a light all over glow and the flushed for a spot of blush on top. Or for an even quicker look, the Dusty Rose is a nice combo product that adds a hint of color and depth to the skin. There are both cool and warm toned shades and the skin care benefits are amazing. It lasts all day on me and I never break a shine. I also very much enjoy the Just a Sec eye product, although the lighter colors can be too powdery. The deeper neutral shades are terrific and given an instantly polished look with virtually no effort. Last but not least, the Face Pencils are terrific for quick concealing and brightening. They can drag in the eye area so I sometimes apply to my hand and then pick up and pat on to the under eye. But they apply straight from the stick onto other areas of the face. I began to travel again for business this month, and I took two MBs, two face pencils, two just a sec pots and mascara. Done! For everything but my lips.
As someone who has combo skin ( mature age) i was skeptical but loved the idea and look of the product…mainly just to give a nice glow to my skin but not over do it. Gotta say i love this product… you don’t need much at all. I place it over my regular blush , bridge of nose , chin, and forehead. It looks lovely and doesn’t highlight fine lines ….I’ve even used a round dense brush to dab onto areas . I have long hair too and no issue with it in terms of stickiness. If its sticky you are over doing it ! Quick run out the door with minimal make up using this , mascara and touch of foundation or tinted moisturiser on centre of face looks fresh and pretty. Hope to check out some of rest of the range too.
I was a sucker and purchased one of these. The color upon opening was nice. I tried it on my clean face. It felt like colored petroleum jelly. I immediately trashed it.
Agree. This was probably the worst product I have ever tried.
Good customer service though.
@@lynnchaffin9498Bobbi designed this for mature 40+ (and I'll say with the emphasis on the +) skins, drier and lined. If you are young or have normal to oily skin -- not such a great match. For dry skin, it's fantastic and beautiful. I'm 61 and dry and I get stopped on the street to get asked what I use on my skin -- not what makeup I have on.😊
I use Miracle Balm rose as a blush but hated the WTF Foundation. It was awful on my skin and I couldn't make it work.
Ohh - don’t throw it away. It’s a two year supply of lip gloss!

I have always had very dry skin, so maybe this is why I love this product! I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear it.
I love how accentuated the word. "luster" i love you wayne youre so freaking adorable ❤
I bought flushed when I lived in Tennessee and was not able to use it at all. I now live in Wyoming, which is very dry and I now use it daily as the last step in my skincare before sunscreen. I work it into my skin all over my face-perfect!
In Wyoming also. I'm starting to trend towards balms, etc., because of dry climate.
Jones Road has made me love make up again, as a 61 year old, I am so grateful for how it brings life to my face!
I am 55 and my skin is getting drier as I age and these have saved me!! I love them and also use as lip balm!!
I am 50 and I love the luminosity it brings back to my face. I apply the same way you do. I feel my skin looks better throughout the day.
I use Tawny everyday. I have combo-oily skin. I used a tiny amount on my cheeks and bridge of the now and hairline to give a sun kissed look. I love it.
I sent a photo to them and they suggested dusty rose miracle balm. I used this all over my face, which was too much, and then I used it as a blush, but it doesn't last even though I have dry skin and honestly, it is like using Vaseline very similar to Ella Bache. I tossed it out as I got so frustrated with it. I know that she is trying to make the product a more natural makeup but I am 59 years old and it is just too shiny which doesn't help hide aging or scares.
Powder it
I’m also 59. I wear sunscreen every day and my skin is still a bit oily. I couldn’t use the balms. Just too greasy for me. I’m not giving up my sunscreen so it has to go. Maybe in another ten years it would work but honestly they smell funny and I don’t think I could get past that
@@ddtuss2585 yes, the smell is awful!!!!!!
I love that you call it “blusher”. My Nana used to call it that. She was British after all.
That’s what it was called when they first started selling it. I was there. 🤣
Revolution has their own version, much cheeper and smaller containers. I like the purple one for blush, bronzer for glow and the clear/golden one that I pat over my makeup when I'm done with my makeup, with a wet sponge, to bring life back to the skin
Revolution breaks me out, it is pretty though if it works for you.
The problem with the cheaper version is that the Jones Road have very good ingredients. Not sure if it’s the case for the Revolution one. As I get older I want my face to have good ingredients in it.
What is the name of the Revolution product please? I would like to try something more affordable.
@@treeintheroad Revolution Balm Glow, I bought mine from Ulta's website, and I have seen them in stores. Target has them. I love the bronzing shades. The golden one is nice after I finish my makeup. I take a slightly damp sponge, dip it into this product and dab it over my makeup to bring my skin back to life. I'm also a HUGE fan of purple blushes and their plum one looks nice on me. Try the shade you really like and see if you like the product. The only thing I don't like about them is that you don't know what the shades are until you open the products.
It’s called Balm Glow and is great 😊
I have several of the balms and love them! I adore the Jones Road eye shadows as well. They're actually my favorite shadows -- richly pigmented, beautiful shades. The mascara is also excellent. Thank you for this review.
I honestly had the thought it looked like Vaseline and so I experimented with some MAC high pigmented colors and Vaseline and made a gorgeous copycat!
That shine looks like a menopausal hot flash. Sweat! No way
Thanks Wayne. I got used to feeling a little sticky very quickly. I love mine and I’m happy to say it takes a good few years off my 65 year old face ❤️😁

@@JillKnapp no it doesn’t go away but I’ve got used to it.
Hi Wayne, as soon as I saw these I was excited and thought what a great product but, the price point was way off for me 🙁so I looked around for a dupe or something very similar and I think I found it. Revolution Beauty sell these same kind of balms. They are absolutely gorgeous and a little goes a long way, gives really great colour payoff and gives me the most gorgeous glow, without looking oily. I got a bronzer and a blusher. They were £6 each 😊and they have an adorable citrusy scent. Love it! ❤
I love these too!
I did the same. Once I got used to the smell (I don't even notice it any more) I really enjoyed them. My skin is combination, and while they don't last as long as I'd like, they are still a beautfiul product on the face.
thank you for sharing this info! so helpful!!
YESSS! ulta has them here, they are verrry good!

I am 76 and LOVE MB. I have all of them and just got the new one, Happy Hour. You would love it Wayne!
I have been a fan of the Jones Road line since its launch. One must know that a little goes a long LONG way. I am 60+ and am using prescription tretinoin and other actives which can cause irritation and even peeling. The miracle balms allow me to use these products daily and my skin has made a major transformation as a result.
it says on the rx not to use oily heavy lotions creams on face after tretinoin
I've been watching this product since it was introduced. The idea speaks to me with dry skin where every other makeup sits in my pores. I did get a tinted skin blurring primer on your recommendation and it's all I use for makeup anymore. I had pile skin in my younger years but at 53 I'm now dry.
Which tinted primer do you use?
Yes, please share the primer!😊
It’s a lovely product once you get the hang of it. The main issue is that it’s packed the essentials oils which can trigger sensitivity especially in the sun.
I have been using this for the past six months. I absolutely LOVE it! So great for mature skin.
Barely there color. Not cakey. But you can’t us a ton because it’s a tacky texture.
I thought you were going to hate that they’re sticky. But you don’t have the problem we do, Wayne, with our hair sticking to it. I couldn’t justify the cost and the size of the product (wanted more than one color) so bought two from Revolution Beauty for a lot less.
Off-topic, but the commercial for this product came on just before the video and I was sat there for 2 and 1/2 minutes thinking that you were showing the commercial before we got into the review of the product LOL
I bought this very shortly after it came out and I had to watch videos to figure out how to use it. But once I discovered that my habit of covering my whole face with 1 product does not apply to this. It is meant to accentuate your natural skin and a little goes a long way. I’ve now switched my whole makeup routine to this natural look.
These products have been a life saver for me. I am over 60 with Sjogren's; meaning my skin is super dry and dull. I wear Jones Road Miracle Balm every single day.
Thanks for reviewing this line. I've been torn watching multiple reviews. I live in Michigan and was looking for balm skin products for winter. Actually was going to select most of the items you picked. I may go for it since I struggle with dryness.
Update: Well i bought Au Naturel and two blushes. I really like these and they're not too emollient for me because I'm dry. I applied them thin. I wouldn't call this makeup, its a nice tinted balm in my opinion.
It hydrates my skin and gives me a natural glow. This is fantastic for work because it’s super easy to apply.
I love mine. I have Tawny, beautiful warm reddish bronze shade, it’s pretty much all I used last summer. Perfect for dry or in my case 50+ mature skin. I wish they were all available in the mini size I’m not sure I’ll live long enough to get through a large size 😝
😂❤ same
yeah, "they will last" forever isn't a long time when your 61 like me, haha
They usually sell minis for Black Friday/Christmas.
I know! On a few occasions, they have sold many versions of them and I’m actually planning on emailing their customer service to ask that they do so annually. I love the product but especially if you have a few colors it takes up a lot of real estate, especially when you travel.
I hope they'll do mini versions at Christmas, am stuck on which colour I would get too and don't want to invest in the large pot
I've been using Jones Road for over a year, and use miracle balm every day as well as the WTF foundation--love them both. I am 63 and have dryer skin now--they feel so great on, and the look is subtle and fresh.
Is that really a product- WTF?
Thank you for reviewing this! I’m always intrigued when I see the ads but something always seemed off to me. I can’t say I’m surprised that people were unimpressed.
It is stunning. The line is lovely. The mascara from Jones Road is so amazing as well. And the eye shadows are so amazing. I’m be of the most lovely things about her stuff is that it can be used on multiple places on your face.
I have found a much less expensive way to do this which works just as well is by using lipstick as a blush.
At first I wasn't sure. Now, I love it and can't live without it!! My skin just drinks it in and it looks dewy and glowy. I use Dusty Rose which is perfect for my fair skin. And, Au Naturale I use under some of my other cream blushes. I've never had a problem with Miracle Balm being sticky, tacky, or greasy as other commenters have complained. I don't ever want to be without it!
I can see that shimmer. It’s beautiful 😻
I could listen to you ramble all day. Thanks Wayne!!
So excited....Nikki LaRose is going to do a whole episode on your cosmetic line and brushes. Congratulations 👏 ❤
Yes! We cannot wait for this!
I find these products work by 1. firstly thinking of them as a coloured moisturiser, and 2. secondly buying at least two, depending on the colour of your skin and where you want to apply them. I absolutely love them - fresh and easy.
Just bought it this month. I had no idea that a product recommended for oily skin would be so tacky, sticky and flat out greasy all over my face. Bobby is great makeup artist and I have used her products before; but this was misery for oily skin. All I had was shine ✨ all over my face as if I was working out. I guess it’s called a balm for reason. Perhaps they can make a powder version in the future.
I’m soon to be 63, but hate feeling oily! I have sensitive skin, but tend to be on the more oiler side. This just makes me feel icky! I’m a matte kinda girl I guess! Glad it works for some!!
I have had the pleasure and privilege to meet Bobbi Brown herself, twice, (she is incredible... the energy, the intelligence, humours, amazing!) and this feels very much like going back to the essence who she is and what beauty is for her somehow. As well as showing how extraordinary she is in finding ways to groups yet to be celebrated in mainstream media (just my feelings). This is beautiful on anyone with dryer skin and older skin, even those who wants to use colours and shine to look how the want to look, but not wearing "traditional " makeup. These products allows for that and those "marginalised " groups can enjoy makeup that isn't makeup(Apologies, English isn't my first language)
I've used these for some time now, and I agree they are lovely. I have very dry skin, and they offer such a dewy freshness. My skin looks so fresh and glowing.
I adore Jones Road beauty-Bobbi is one of the few in the game who actually loves all women and doesn’t just focus on young models or doing the hard relentless sell (we know who), she is the GOAT.
CT or LG?
I use this and i love it. I am older and skin went from oily to very dry dull. It works for me. Helps with my lines. You do have to work it in. Colors can be built up.
It feels like we are going down the path of life with her. We were there rocking the BB matte look when we were young and now that we are older we are appreciating and loving the dewy cosmetics that many of us now love and need. I will probably pass on the highlighter as I am still, two years on, making my way through the tiny pot of Trinny London highlight BUT I have been looking for a good bronzer and will certainly give Jones Road a try.
If this is going down the path of life I think she made a wrong turn. Just a joke
Ever heard of her innovative product “Shimmer Brick”?
I love this product!
It is a miracle for my 57 yr old super dry skin and Magic Hour is my fav as a highlighter.
Thank you, Wayne! A wonderful honest opinion from a man I trust!💜😉💜
I wear these on days I can’t really be bothered with makeup. They really brighten my complexion without much effort on my part and I love them.
I know my hair would stick to my face with this makeup and drive me mad 🫠
I'm 50 with dry skin. I LOVVVE this product so much!!! ❤
I tried this stuff a while back and it was as awful as everyone said it was. It's like straight up putting vasoline all over my face. I hated it! I will watch the rest of the video though to see what you think. Thankfully I was able to send it all back for a refund.
Same here. I didn't like it. It was thick and greasy like Vaseline and transferred to everything. I disliked it entirely.
@@SayMagnaFeek Same here - I did find a product that duplicates but does not have the Vaseline feel. Try Makeup Revolution. Smaller quantity and great price. Colors are comparable.
Thank you! I have been searching for an honest, simple demonstration of this product because I wasn’t sure if at 60 years young with very dry skin, if it would be a fit for me. Too greasy? Too much glitter? Perfect? I now know! Flushed is in my cart!!
I love the miracle balm also. You know what else I love about Jones Road? The face pencil, since I am older I have difficulty with under-eye concealer. The face pencil is a game changer. I would love to see you review it!
Has it creased on you? I want to try it so bad, but I’m worried it will crease.
I have been using Jones Road for a couple of weeks and - except for their flaky mascara - I AM IN LOVE! I have had skin issues since my 30s and lately have been battling dermatitis and eczema but I have noticed an improvement since I started using Miracle Balm. I feel glowy and my skin is less dry. I like the clean smell too!
I'm 40 and I've noticed that my skin is getting a lot drier which is shocking for me since I've always been oily. I can see myself using this balm when I turn around 50.
It just keeps getting drier...😕
I'm a 32 y/o woman who had acne until 27, now MY SKIN TURNED SOOO DRY.
spoiler: I had low progesterone lol
@@franz3810 goddammit...
A good serum underneath your moisturiser..would help….
@@anncarlson1396 you need moisture not oil!!!!!!
Love your channel
I’m 57 and I love these products my skin is very dry and I’m a diabetic so it’s difficult to keep my skin moisturized most products just sit on top of my skin and look terrible I even use the foundation by jones road and the miracle balms they make my skin look healthy hydrated . The miracle balm is great for a lip balm as well
Wayne, thank you, as always, for your reviews! I live in a humid climate, so don't need or want this on a daily basis. I have used a little of the neutral Jones Road in the winter, though! But, just like some others here, my long hair kept getting STUCK in the formula, especially is you are outside and there is the slightest breeze, bam, my hair was glued to it. I played with my hair more than I did as a 10 year old! So irritating to deal with the stickiness! UGH!
I’m going to think less is more for all that say it is very sticky?? It doesn’t look like a lot of pigment/coverage but interesting concept. Thank you Wayne 💛 You’re the only one I trust.
I had a reaction to the miracle balm. Red itchy spots and crusty flaky skin. Also - this is sticky. if you have long hair it will stick to your face. And yes I followed the instructions. Broke out in rashes. Customer service was really good and let me return the products. I have dry older skin.
I too had a rash. I was wondering if anyone would comment on the hair sticking to the face.
I have extremely dry skin, so much that if I do not use heavy cream barrier moisturizers it will crack and bleed. Her makeup is a god send to people like me. I’m used to using vaseline or aquaphor so this is perfect in my opinion!
Thanks for reviewing this! I’ve been wondering about it for awhile! This has helped me decide whether or not to purchase it.
I love the miracle balms. I have 6 of them! I apply just like you do and don't have any problem with them being too tacky. But I don't use them in the summer. I love the subtle color and glow they give.
This was exactly how she said to use this line. Every review I’ve seen people use it incorrectly and it’s SO annoying. It’s not Instaglam makeup. It just isn’t. It’s beautiful but it’s a different adventure.
I have several colors but I love Miami Beach. I’m an older redhead and it brightens my skin which is DRY. Love them
I am really tempted to buy one of these. I just turned 40 but have started early menopause and hot flashes. I fear my face would literally melt this off.
It will melt off. I couldn't keep any makeup on my face during my hot flash years. Fortunately they do pass! Good luck to you!
I love, love, love this product. As I've gotten older, I don’t care to use makeup too much. This balm gives my face the best natural color to my face, I swipe some on with a little mascara and I feel good to go. I want to buy more colors.
I tried this. There’s an odor. My face kept absorbing all of the product, and I had to continue to reapply. I tried a couple of different primers and to no avail. Love Bobbi Brown
After seeing the ads for this product I was skeptical but hopeful. Now that I’ve seen this and read comments about how it works for mature skin, I think I’m going to try it. Thanks for the honesty & the demo in real time-helpful.
So many comments on this page and many other places, refer to this product (and the JRB line in general) as being good for "mature" skin. The thing is...a person's age is only one of many contributing factors in how their skin behaves. "Mature" is not a skin type. There are people "of a certain age" (and beyond) with normal-to-combination and even oily skin. I would not expect people with those skin types to like this product at all, regardless of their age.
So, if you haven't bought this yet, I would recommend considering your skin's type, too, before purchasing.
I want a shirt that says “I Only Trust Wayne Goss” cause it’s true! This man has taught me so much! Lol🎉❤
I adore the foundation. I’ve never had so many compliments before, but for dry skin is fabulous.
I’m so happy to see you review this product!! The flushed blush color is my favorite out of all the other cream blushes I’ve tried (like Rose Inc., Rare beauty, etc) I’ve found the best brush to use this product with is the Morphe M449. I have dry skin and I will admit, it took me a few tries to get used to the texture so for those of you trying it, keep that in mind. Other than that, Mac Face and Body and this blush combined with matte t-zone is chefs kiss!!!!
Yes its not thisbrand but ibrought a balm. I used it the first time and was like yuk im sending it back. I thght ill try it one more time i used my foundation brush. Andfell in love .very dry skin.
It looks so natural! Like you've been outside and have a summery glow.
I have several of these because I want so badly to love them, but unfortunately my skin is oily and these just make it worse. It looks like it soaked into you skin quite nicely, whereas it sits on top of my skin. I do have other jones road products that I love though.
I am so happy with Miracle Balm! It is fabulous for my skin and I am complimented often on it.
I have a mini size of the dusty rose, bronze, and magic hour. They are all really beautiful and give a natural glow 🌟 to the skin (though it does feel sticky). I’m so glad you reviewed these Wayne!!! 🙌
I used powder over it. On my nose the middle of my forehead chin and neck. Gorgeous lasted all day
Where did you get mini sizes???
@@Sbannmarie298 it was a gift from a friend. I think they used to sell a trial size set of them all.
I love the Miracle Balms - they are elegant in their simplicity!
