My dad was a professional truck driver, but when he and my mom were in the same car, she drove. Always. She said she just didn't feel comfortable riding in the car with someone else driving. And my dad was totally fine with it. But I think that's just how it is with most couples. One of them ends up being the one who drives.
My husband was an HGV driver. He’s retired now and I do all the driving! I think you’re absolutely right May.
He still is, he stop driving the truck that a different thing but he still a truck driver
My mom always said, "truck drivers can't drive cars". And she came from a family of truck drivers. She taught my dad how to drive a truck in the 50s.
I dated an OTR driver years ago. He had a truck similar to Allie's. He always drove when he was home. I was stunned at what a great driver he was. I cannot explain it, was very smooth and accurate. Ive never been in a vehicle, truck or car, with a better driver since. He was a professional and there definitely IS a noticeable difference when someone who drives for a living is behind the wheel.

I am 67 and have never done downhill skiing (lots of cross country) because downhill skiing scares me, but I would get on one of those in a heartbeat. I have biked my entire life and could do this combo thing easily. I am amazed that no one has come up with this sooner.

So a suggestion for the SnowGo is a optional seat, for those who are not up to speed on the legs a supporting seat might get everyone onboard. I know that I would need some sort of seat as I am not too steady on my pins but would love the idea. Just a thought, thanks for posting

Dragged my husband in to watch the Snow Go and the see the beautiful snowy mountains. He was grounded this winter due to toe surgery so the skis took a break. But...next winter we will head out to your neck of the woods and look forward to trying the Snow Go. It looks like so much fun. That SnowGo looks like so much fun. Great for non skiers to participate in the fun and get a feel for skiing. I am amazed at you guys and the constant snow you deal with. Like Allie's mom said a few videos ago, " your crazy!!!".
I drive my car 💯 percent myself and my husband has his own car! So he’s a passenger in my car not the driver! I love driving my own car and that’s how it works out at our place. I looked at Allie getting in the drivers seat and I saw happiness and joy to get to drive her own truck 🛻 and that is something she should be able to do often also with Trent around! I support you Allie it’s your turn now in front of the camera 🎥
Yes this!! My other half plants his butt in the passenger seat of my car and never tells me to ride in the back when there's another guy riding along in his car with us.

SnoGo's are awesome. I've owned one for 4 seasons now. Best choice I've made when it comes to snow related sports. at Almost 51, I thought I'd be good at snowboarding being a skater as a kid, but i was NOT! Found SnoGo shortly after and went all in. Easy to learn and at the top of the mountain the first day. Tell you friend I appreciate them for sure!

Allie, you are right. It's not just in bad weather conditions Trent wants to drive when the two of you are together -- he wants to drive ALL the time! I don't mean it in a derogatory way, but I think it's all about a fear of not being in control, which I think a lot of men suffer from. Trent's uncomfortability with flying is another example. I give you a lot of credit for just going with the flow. As they say in relationships, you have to pick your battles. You are so smart to know this one probably isn't worth it. However, I like how you still bring it up here and there. It let's Trent know you're a good sport, which you don't want him to forget!
I think also it’s important that you mention that it is a fear, because the anxiety is rooted in control. A fun fact is that there is actually a specific therapy that works on fear-based anxieties to help people work on the irrational fears they have been harboring (it’s called exposure therapy) and I think everyone should try it tbh. People have used it to get over fear of flying for example!
Some of those mountain backdrop scenes are so magnificent.."We got insurance. That should cover it." Oooh, yes, definitely. Beautiful snow but when it's wet and heavy.....making the most of it.👍
My Sequoia always has several rolls of paper towels, hand cleaner, and 4 or 5 pairs of gloves, good size tool box, but sometimes I forget to grab my wallet before driving 5 country miles to the grocery stores. Lol

When I first heard you guys talk about the snow go I thought back to the first ski bikes I ever saw. We were watching this French skier who was a multiple Olympic gold medalist. He introduced the world to the first ski bike. It was a bicycle with the front tires removed and a short ski on the front and short ski on the back. The rider ski's on each foot, plus you had a banana bike seat for setting. The Frenchman made it look so easy. This was about 1970. When I heard you guys talk about the bike that's what I envisioned. The bike you guys rode looked like a blast, and you didn't have to put on ski's. I was 15 years old in 1970 so that makes me 68 years old today. I would love to ride one of those for a couple of days. I think that I will put that on my short bucket list. Great show folks . You made me feel about 40 again. Take care. Vaughn

My wife is the one who drives when we are together. On long trips i tend to get highway hypnosis and start to zone out if I am behind the wheel. However, put me in the passenger seat and I am wide awake. I am also the better navigator/map reader, and on special trips I take the better pictures from the passenger seat. It all works out the way it needs to.
it is lots of fun watching you two interact and yes my hubby and I usually when we go out together he always drives and it was cute to see you run in for the coffee I usually do that also Allie. Keep up the good work and the progress you're making it is great!
We did snow bikes 20+ years ago but it was actually a BMX style bike that skis replaced the wheels. They have come a long way.❤

Allie - my wife is like Trent, she doesn't like my driving...I taught her how to drive in the snow. I may have scared her a few times in deep snow off road driving but in my defense - I grew up driving in it. I am usually the go to for snow storm or deep snow driving.

I like Green Chef better than Hello Fresh but the onion crunch chicken is good. My issue with them is there's a lot of sugar & soy in their meals if you are not watching the menu. As a breast cancer survivor - I can't have soy.

Back in '03 I worked in the rental shop at a small, mom and pop ski area in Central Idaho. After we got all the school kids and other renters outfitted in the morning, our boss would often allow us to clock out and go ride. I noticed that we had a few ski bikes (they only have a single front and single rear ski). They legitimately had banana seats and you are meant to be seated the entire time. After my first few runs, I was taking that beast into the terrain park and off the backside into the backcountry. So much stinkin' fun...until I snapped the front ski going off an unexpected drop in flat light in the backcountry. Had to walk nearly a mile out. Thankfully it was mostly on a groomed cat track. They didn't let me take it out any more.

Do you Know that the Right Rear Brake Light is OUT in your Truck that you took to the DUMP! Trent did it! And Allie ALWAYS has to fasten the Seat Belt for One of her BABIES!
You don’t carry any shop towels in the truck? I’m a 73 yr old lady, and always have them in my car. You never know what may happen…like greasy hands🤣. With a baby, I’m surprised you don’t you’ve any baby wipes!
My babies are close to forty years old and I ALWAYS have baby wipes in my car.
Yes, they don't seem to think to prepare too much ahead, for the unexpected. I ALWAYS carry all 3 - wipes, rags, & several pairs of gloves....& paper towels, some tools, small bar of hand soap(always in my purse - with a presentable rag hanging off it; bcuz blow dryers take too long)......& I'm a 76 yr old Senior woman mostly always alone!
Yes my Steve always drives when we are together. Now on a road trip we take turns. 46 yrs and it works.

Wonderful Alpine living. Snow and the mountains make for the best recreational times. As long as you get safely through the snow to your destination it is a beautiful refreshing way to life.
My dad and brother made what I think they called Jack jumpers by adding a seat to a ski and they skied the hills of our seventy acre property in VT! They loved it!

I love success stories, especially family owned businesses. This company Trent’s using for his engine project has been in business for over 40 yrs is awesome. We have no idea the ups and downs this man has had in 40 plus yrs, the main thing he has survived and that’s amazing. I just know Trent will be happy with his work because he’s old school and knows his stuff. I hope he has sons that will continue his legacy.
