Thanks Jim. Since my husband passed away I am slowly starting to try doing the things he always took care of. I have watched quite a few of your videos. I managed to change the oil in the husqvarna riding lawnmower last week after re-watching your video on that. (Didn't do it nearly as clean and smooth as your video showed but I got it done!!!) Just bought new blades for it (It has 3 blades) thinking I might learn how to change them out and sharpen the ones that are on it. (My husband did the sharpening too) I like your videos because you get right to the point, show what tools you are going to use, have good lighting and camera angle, tell important details and fast forward through some things that just take time. Thank you. God Bless!
So glad I could help you. When I get comments like this it helps me stay motivated to make more videos. I love to help. Is there any other videos you would like to see? I’m sure your husband is looking down on you and very proud. God is good.
Thank you too for taking the time to make these. I just got one of these (Used but in great shape) and it's really great to learn from you before working on it.
5 cotter pins remove the whole mowing deck. It’s easier to remove the deck and not work upside down. Thx 4 taking the time to make this video. I like your balance method 👍
Great video. I have the same mower, just with a 42" deck and with the Craftsman name on it. I took the deck off once a few years ago, and after that I decided I'd get a jack! In my case, I bought a second set of blades so I could just throw the sharp ones on and get the lawn cut, and sharpen the previous set later. My dad had an old Poulan Pro walk behind (also Husqvarna/AYP) and right before he gave it to me, he put the blade on upside down! I couldn't figure out why it cut so poorly because it had always been a great mower! 🤣
Never hurts to clean off dried grass chunks from deck underside while you've got the mower raised. ? Any need to lube the retaining bolt threads when remounting the blades? Good, practical video, thanks for making it available.
I also have a problem with my lawnmower randomly starting up without putting the key in it, sitting in the seat, engaging the parking break, and starting the ignition.
Why would you disconnect the spark plugs? The blades are not connected directly to the engine shaft as on a push mower. Also your blades are not engaged by the PTO when not running as there is no power to the PTO or the ignition. Seems like a useless step.

That helped this 76 year old lady.
You are very welcome
Great video. If only taking the blades off were that easy
Thanks for watching
Great video! When installing, should the 2 blades be pointing in the same direction? Or another way of putting it, at the same angle?
I don't think it really matters. thanks for watching

I have never lubed the bolts when putting the blades back on. Thanks for watching hope your summer was a good one.
So glad you got an orange one now, that green and yellow one was hideous
I'm just helping my neighbors out and making videos to help others.
Question, what tool did you use to sharpen, and where can I buy it. Thanks
flap disc and grinder it is in my description and first comment
Thanx!
You're welcome!
Well done! But why not use cinder blocks? Too fragile?
They can break if you are not careful
I might have missed it but??? Do you have a video that teaches how to change the hydrostatic oil in Husqvarna YTH-20K46 mower?
Sorry no I do not
Is it possible for you to make a video of this?
You've got teaching skills.
@@jerrykennedy7781 sorry Jerry not sure I can do that now. Maybe next summer. I will have to ask my neighbor to see if he wants his changed.
What if I don't have and cannot a torque wrench? I will be using 1/2 drive impact driver. Will that produce enough torque?
Yes I’m sure it will. For years I did not use a torque wrench.
How do you level a Husqvarna riding mower deck that got a broken bracket
I think I would try to fix the bracket. Hope you get it figured out
I also have a problem with my lawnmower randomly starting up without putting the key in it, sitting in the seat, engaging the parking break, and starting the ignition.
Sorry never seen this problem. Hope you get it figured out.
I was just making a joke about you unplugging the spark plug lol
Lol 😆
I have a Husqvarna T1942 being delivered Monday, 14 Aug.....hope you take questions...LOL
I try to answer questions. Thanks for watching
