Good video overall, but you should have shown exactly where you put the jack in the front, and then the orientation of the blades. It is much easier to show on the video (yours was cut off from viewing) exactly how the blades go on, some people questioned this, and it can be confusing.

There's a bracket in the front you can use to jack it up and I actually set my front wheels on jackstands. The blades only go on one way. There's a toothed hole in the middle.

Learn how to remove the deck, it's 2 pins on each side one pin in front one pin in back 6 clips and you can easy slide it out. Not only is removing the deck make it easy to change the blades it's safer. In addition it gives you the chance to inspect all the other parts of the mower deck. So removing the deck is a win win. Hope this helps.

I like doing things the easy way. I put a 5 gallon bucket upside down next to each front wheel of my Ariens IKON 52" zero turn mower. Then I simply lift the front of the mower about a foot off the ground and kick the buckets under the front wheels. Remember to lift with your legs and not with your back. I'm 70 years old so if I can lift it you younger guys should be able to also....

  • @kindly4real

I would add this though; ...see if you can screw a 3/8 lag eyebolt in to something you can pull the mower under so you can tie the mower up to it, after you get it jacked up with the floor jack. Jack stands would be nice too.
Also, he didn't mention anything about the bolts being reverse thread, so I'm assuming they aren't, which was why I looked this video up.

This is a very sturdy and well built mower. I thought I wouldn't like the foot operated speed control but after one use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTZSPVwJFBv2hORqhQamtxi-tAe5K2EtC , I can't believe I ever had one without it. It drives like a car with an automatic transmission. Easy to adjust mowing speed according to grass depth/thickness. I have yet to get used to the long throw of the blade engagement lever but kind of get why it is that way. It allows you to hold mowing for short moments if you need. The engine seems very substantial and the frame has very little flex, both adding up to an impressive package. All my previous tractors were 18 to21 hp with 42in decks. This one is 23/46. I mow about 1.5 acres about every 5 days here in Alaska and that mowing time has been reduced by about 20%, partly due to the very tight turning radius. No loop arounds lol. Hour meter, cruise control, reverse mowing capability, deck cleanout and easy assembly all add up to a very well thought out tractor.

You do realize that a jack is a lift right? Here's a better solution. Go to Harbor Freight or Northern Tool and get a chain hoist (they start around $70).
Find a tree limb strong enough to support your mower and strap the hoist to it. Then use the hoist to lift the front of the mower. Find something to
block up the mower for safety. Use a cordless impact driver with a 5/8" socket on it to loosen the blade bolts. Swap out for new ones and use the
impact driver to tighten the new blades onto the mower. Done.

Husqvarna blades are junk, gator blades hold up and easy to maintain

I think you left too much out. You did not demonstrate removing the other blade which is the one that is difficult to deal with among a few other things. I'll give 2 out of 5 stars on this video. Pretty much a wasted 3:22. MAYBE next time?
