The clone who punched the droid lost his weapon, in the clip you see his dc15 blaster rifle get shot out of his hands as he’s charging. As a last ditch effort he tried to uncork the ass beating of a lifetime on that droid and failed.

5. The clone trooper was probably quite dazed. Judging by the way he pulled himself up, he may have been knocked unconscious previously by an explosion, like the one the B2-HA earlier in the episode caused with his rocket. He may have pulled himself up before he even noticed Ventress was there. Then, with her lightsabers drawn, he knew he wasn't getting away, so he attempted to alert the ship and kill her if he could. He was unlucky...not dumb.
4. "There is no such thing as luck" - Ki-adi Mundi. This clone's statement in no way caused his gunship to go up in flame. In fact, he probably said that to try and lighten his teammate's trepidations about one of the most brutal assaults of the war. A good move, that paid out ironically for the viewer.
3. The clone had been hit previously, and probably lost his weapon in the same move. His jumping at Grievous was one of the only ways he could attack the General. It was a fearless move that, although it failed, had been pulled off by other clones before. Namely, Commander Cody and two 212th soldiers leapt on Grievous after tagging him with a cable. And Cody's not stupid. It was insanely brave, maybe suicidal, but not stupid.
2. Trauma gets too much of a bad rap. He was an ARF trooper, making him one of the smartest troopers the Republic had to offer. His 'rushing' Savage wasn't that at all. He was merely running closer to get a vantage. If one might notice, at least four other ARFs were in position, blocking the way. Trauma wouldn't have had a clear view, let alone a shot. He likely wasn't aware that Savage was an unstoppable juggernaut who'd plowed his way through half the team already. He was going to get a view to fire one.
1. The AT-RT drivers in that scene were doing as told. They wouldn't just charge out there and break formation. They were ordered over the top. The rallying clone was, again, merely unlucky. And the guy who punched the droid? Totally justified. He didn't toss away his blaster; he lost it to an unlucky charge. Had he stopped to pick it up (it was probably useless then anyways) he would've been killed just the same. Instead, he attempted to use his last action to take a droid with him. Props to him for quick thinking too! Sadly, droids are tough, and he likely broke his hand punching it in the face. Again, merely unucky. He tried to serve the Republic.
As of yet, in this list, I have to find one clone being stupid or suicidal. Maybe they made mistakes, but being under live fire puts a totally different stress on your mind You're unlikely to NOT make a near-fatal...or fatal...mistake.
Jake Heinrichs for number one, he rushed the seprestatist formation without a weapon. He at least should have waited for some covering fire if he wanted to just start punching. Also, punching metal (which is what battle droids are) is plain stupid and you know it.

It should be noted that Droid Punch Clone punches a droid rather than shoot it with a blaster or beat it with said blaster because said blaster is literally blasted from his hands. Regardless, he was still running straight into the middle of a Droid formation far ahead of any support and ignorant of any potential cover.
It wasn't the first clone's fault. He just got up, looked around and then saw Assaj Ventress. He didn't know she was there.

His blaster was shot out of his hands literally as he was running up to the droid.
In the heat of the moment, most people would probably have the initial reaction of “punch it.” There really wasn’t much else he could do aside from tackling it.
He was dead anyway, no matter what he did after he lost his blaster.
You forget that in most circumstances, clones were extremely loyal and would continue to press their attack unless told to fall back, in which in all of these cases they were never told too
Honestly, none of these decisions are “dumb” just clones being unlucky.
Remember, clones are trained to fight in groups, so when they lose all the other people around them they get screwed fairly quickly.
Number 4 isn't really that clones fault, he was just easing the situaiton by saying a comment about the enemy's faults... And also ,who really believes that shit. Number 1: his blaster got shot out of his hand, he didn't just drop it

For the green company trooper who "should've stayed down", he actually didn't see Ventress for two reasons, 1. he was looking the other way 2. Ventress didn't make a sound when she landed. He had no idea.

LOL, the clones are nine year olds sent into battle against a faceless army of killer robots; insect-like aliens; and occasionally a force user. Chances are not every single one of the is gonna make the best decisions.

For #1, when the clone punched the droid, he was gonna use his blaster but mere feet from the droid, he didn't drop his blaster or run out of ammo, it was shot out of his hand and he didn't have time to pick it up so he punched it.
