That's one of the problems with every Patrick's a prick episode. Patrick is being a stupid asshole that can be a prick to anyone he wants without suffering any consequences.
*Reads comments regarding Stephen Hillenburg’s death coming the day after this review went up.* It’s not like Enter knew what would happen, guys... In all seriousness though, rest in peace, Mr. Hillenburg. Thank you for giving us SpongeBob. You and he have brought much joy and laughter to the world. For that, the fans and I are forever grateful.
@@toon4thought Ohh-ho-ho. So, that's 1 reason why the animation will get a little (sometimes, too) stretchier than usual. Thanks for sharing that. Certain details now make a little too much sense now.
The thing that I find funny, is that with the style the show is going with, it's kind of coming full circle from when it started. Spongebob took huge inspiration from Ren & Stimpy (Zoomed in ultra realistic shots, unique off the wall humour for kids & adults) and now with the changes in animation from the guys that used to work on Ren & Stimpy, it seems almost more like a reboot. That might be cool for some, but that's part of the reason I don't watch it anymore. The "newer" episodes from the past couple years were trying to compete with the original seasons leaving us with a bunch of missteps like "A Pal For Gary", and whatnot, but there were a few hidden gems with new ideas like the drive thru episode.
Bobby Sharpe the series has not been returning back to normal it is a completely different show now with all The wacky facial expressions it feels more like a kids show now
Now THIS is what I call a hook and a line Mr. Enter. The intros, the title card... that is one way to grab the attention of new viewers and your fans. Music also adds to give the commentary and video the mood of what sections of the review you’re at, silencing out that dead quietness you always had in your videos sometimes. Gotta love how your avatar also spices up the mood, acting as a detective scooping up some case files of the bad episodes before sitting down on the couch, brushing off the light coat of dust. I would love to see more of this later in the future. Do remember to take some time in relaxing before dedicating yourself to working in your videos. Much love from a past fan! :D

Did anyone just now found out that Stephen Hillenburg died today? No joke. The creator of SB died from ALS complications. R.I.P Stephen. Hillenburg was 57...
So basically, if these characters were humans (which they essentially are in the context of the show), Patrick is repeatedly causing Squidward to have the mother of all nosebleeds and using said blood to make his lemonade. Nothing fucked up about that.
The writers pretty much threw their hands in the air and yelled "Consistency? What's that?" The first season was at least watchable, since it tried to have some substance.
Seems I'm not the only one who heard. A moment of silence for the Creator of Spongebob: Steven Hillenburg, 57. He has passed away from his fight with ALS. Farewell. Your show is big, unique, and a source of classic moments for cartoons.
@Christopher DeLoach I didn't expect a notification for a comment this old, but that's okay. ALS is short for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It's rare, but slowly degenerates your body, and there is no cure. It affects motor neurons - you eventually lose the ability to move your muscles. Most don't live beyond 10 years after learning they have it, though the physicist Stephen Hawking got it young and dealt with it for 50 years.
Seeing the comments on this video makes me disgusted. People, did Mr. Enter know Stephen Hillenburg would die? No. He didn't. Did he plan to have this video uploaded when he died? No. You can all shut up and apologize to him for acting all babyish towards him. I swear to god if I see one comment where someone calls me a word that never existed...
It's almost unbelievable that the Creator of spongebob has passed. I'm glad he was able to create one of the best cartoons, despite it's flukes it's still a great show.
Me too. This was an absolute atrocity. The best way to describe this episode is that if you take "A Pal for Gary", "One Coarse Meal" and take every Squidward Torture Porn into account, you get "Ink Lemonade", a Top 3 Worst SpongeBob Episode for me.
Alot of people are going to hate this because they think that MrEnters done too much SpongeBob and that he has no original ideas. Except for the fact that this is the first SpongeBob episode he's done in YEARS, and that it's a post-sequel too. I feel like a SpongeBob episode every now and then is a good idea.
What do you mean, "no original ideas?" Even different episodes of the same show with different things to talk about can be original ideas. December 7, 2018, 10:51pm
I still can't believe that people were talking about how Mr enter forgot to pay respects to stephen hillenberg Especially since that not only was he still alive when this video was in the making, but stephen died the next day after the video was released
Before thousands of people say that this episode "ruined" the Post-Sequel era, please keep in mind that it is only one episode. It only takes many episodes for an era to be completely ruined. Also, there is always a chance for an era or TV show to improve in the next couple of episodes. Also, for people that say this is the worst episode of series, please make sure you actually MEAN it. I mean, go back to episodes like One Coarse Meal and A Pal for Gary and then decide whether or not this episode is the worst out of the bunch.
honestly I feel mr krabs is more even then plankton anymore, same for Patrick. I don't even consider pat PRICK and Patrick the same character. like he was replaced by some douchebag clone.
That would have been completely out of character for Plankton, he's hardly ever hurt anyone that wasn't Krabs, and he's in favt gone out of his way to not hurt people with his schemes
@@madisonbrooks8672, I don't know...I kind of doubt that, remember the time he mind controlled and whipped an entire town of people to do his bidding? Plankton has some sociopathic tendencies himself.
@@londonjackson8986 I like it when he defends or protects his friend from other people who are mean to him. Not when he tortures other people for his own personal gain. That is evil. Patrick used to have good reasons for his evilness: a) Being scorned on Valentines b) His "parents's" influence on him c) Helping spongebob while impersonating a doctor
This episode would’ve been slightly better if Mr. Krabs were in Patrick’s place imo Let me explain myself. Mr. Krabs is smart enough to think of these schemes, to know squidward hates his job, and would have the motivation to do this(money). Patrick doesn’t really get anything out of this, which is why he seems so cruel and out of place. It would be cruel of Mr. Krabs too, but it would at least make a little sense.
Here's how I think you could make this episode work: Have Patrick put his lemonade stand in front of the Krusty Krab, with Mr. Krabs' consent, as long as he gets 99% of the profit. As Squidward is coming to work, he gets scared of Patrick being there, and a bit of ink gets in the lemonade, and it becomes a hit. Mr Krabs then decides to profit from this and scares Squidward, before Spongebob, who has just been grilling patties, realizes what's going on. He makes a plan with Squidward to get back at Mr. Krabs, and they scare him so badly, he loses his shell. The episode ends Patrick returning people's money, and Krabs having learned his lesson. This way, you have Mr. Krabs, a character who is much more likely to exploit Squidward like this, do it instead of Patrick, Patrick is just an innocent bystander, the plot to get ink makes more sense, since it's the much smarter Mr. Krabs instead of Patrick, Spongebob helps Squidward, and the right person gets the comeuppance at the end.
and then there's pat the fucking horse....ugh... those two suck, squid noire is okay, the one where plankton was a genie in a bottle is the best of the season I say.
So this episode is basically Spongebob's The Killing Joke with Squidward as Commissioner Gordon and Patrick as The Joker but with Patrick just doing it to Squidward for sick kicks with no twisted point to prove?

A little review of the review. The formatting was a lot better. It was more concise than a lot of your previous reviews. I liked the title card at the beginning as well, good touch. Audio mixing, is vastly improved from where you came from. Much better balance between footage and speaking, and no mic peaking or static. I like the underlying music filling any dead air during speaking parts, smoothing out the aural aspect as whole. As someone who just listens to videos about as much as watching them, this was pretty pleasing. So yeah, keep it up. Really like where you're going with the channel, and don't forget to have fun with it. o/
Renaissance-age Spongebob is a Yin-Yang. A fusion of the classic age and the dark age (bound together by very obvious Ren & Stimpy influence in the animation style). I was never surprised that something like Ink Lemonade popped up; because there were still dark age elements, it was only natural that a dark age-quality episode popped up every now and again. Like the Powerpuff Girls said: can’t have the good without the bad.
I don't know about anyone else but I have a tough time getting used to the new exaggerated expressions in the show, especially Patrick's. It's just kind of off putting because the series never had *this* level of wacky expressions before. The comedy originally stemmed from the dialogue not necessarily the funny faces or slapstick (though obviously those were elements). Not saying it's all bad, just jarring to someone like me whose been watching Spongebob since the beginning.

Alan Bareiro, Yeah may he rest in peace man, I just wish the show ended when he ended that way the show he worked hard for doesn't get laid to waste Again.
I always found the biological facts about the characters of Spongebob and how accurate they are to their respective species really interesting. Like Spongebob, a sea sponge, reproduces by budding or Patrick, a starfish, lives under a rock. But the fact that squids spray ink to escape predators, and the fact that Patrick is essentially hunting Squidward for said ink is horrifying.
Ya know, this episode maybe could have been salvaged if Patrick got his comeuppance. Like say, The Bikini Bottomites learned what he was doing, and they take their money back while also pummeling him
his name is actually count orlock, nosferatu is the name of the movie he's from. it's almost a hundred years old, but it still managed to scare me more than any modern horror movie.
I had Squid Ink Spaghetti for dinner not long ago, and I didn't like it. Of course, that might've had to do with all the spicy toppings; don't like spicy stuff. If it was just the spaghetti with butter, I might've liked it more.

It’s not like Enter knew what would happen, guys...
In all seriousness though, rest in peace, Mr. Hillenburg. Thank you for giving us SpongeBob. You and he have brought much joy and laughter to the world. For that, the fans and I are forever grateful.
Thank you, Stephen Hillenburg and Mr Enter.
He didn't know that would happen the next day
I have a lot of respect for Stephen Hillenburg. R.I.P. Stephen Hillenburg.
The new animation in the show is like ren and stimpy
That's because a few of the show's current lead artists are Ren and Stimpy veterans.
That's kinda unwarranted praise, considering Ren and Stimpy's fantastic animation.

ALS is short for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It's rare, but slowly degenerates your body, and there is no cure. Ok?
The worst of Patprick is when he actively acts as bad or worse than Mr. Krabs....
@@londonjackson8986 I like it when he defends or protects his friend from other people who are mean to him. Not when he tortures other people for his own personal gain. That is evil. Patrick used to have good reasons for his evilness:
a) Being scorned on Valentines
b) His "parents's" influence on him
c) Helping spongebob while impersonating a doctor
Agreed. And the fact he seems so much more self-aware now isn't helping.
Also...LAPIS!
This episode would’ve been slightly better if Mr. Krabs were in Patrick’s place imo
Let me explain myself.
"patprick"
did we just regress back to 2014
Here's how I think you could make this episode work: Have Patrick put his lemonade stand in front of the Krusty Krab, with Mr.
Krabs instead of Patrick, Spongebob helps Squidward, and the right person gets the comeuppance at the end.
the only reason why this is in my feed is because of spongebob creator passing away
