It’s always best to have these type of videos when there aren’t many out there 👏🏽🔥
Your video helped me out thank you. I wish camera guy zoomed in on certain things but definitely the toughest battery I ever changed 😂😂
Thank you. I was blown away at how complicated it was to change. There was an older gentleman walked by while I was doing it and I said man what I would give for this to be as simple as they are on a Squarebody C10 Chevy truck. Two bolt loosening two wire set it out and set the new one in. Lol.
I wasn’t intending on doing a video on it but when I seen there was nothing out there on it I thought it might help someone. I am not a mechanic just a guy that likes doing things to our rides.
Happy it helped you and apologies as I just now seen the comments
Chapel Hill, TN native here, I need to hire you to change mine because they make it too difficult haha. I noticed the Oreilys off the rip
Abosolutly ridiculous, I watched this video because I need to change the battery in my wife's 2019 Blazer RS. Chevy tries to discourage people from doing their own maintenance, to benefit the dealerships. That job used to be a 1 hour job including the trip to return the old battery and buy a new one. I had to change the thermostat in her Blazer a month ago. A thermostat change used to be a fifteen minute job and a $3.00 part. Now it's a 2 hour job and $185 dollar part. You have to remove the intake manifold to change it. Thanks for making this video.
Wow, we hadn’t had to do the thermostat yet. Not looking forward to that.
Thank you for the video bud! I was able to watch your video and change out my battery on my wives car this afternoon
Nice work
It would be helpful to point the camera at the points you're talking about. Many things happening off camera.
I’m a Toyota guy. Got my wife a 2019 Chevy blazer, back in 2018. My first Chevy ever purchased. Barely have 50k miles on it and we’ve had several issues with it. Never buying GM ever again.
Unreal how difficult Chevy is making it to do simple things such as changing out a battery.
Truth friend, and O'Reilly's wouldn't change it and Chevy wanted $40 to change the battery. I will never forget a good C-10 where you have your two post bolts and a missing strap and took like 5 minutes to change...lol
But don't you know?
They want you to take it in so the dealership mechanics can disassemble half your engine and charge you a premium just to change your battery, on top of already bending you over on the cost of the battery

Amen brother
Love those professiomal terms fenagel lol
I saw your video and replaced it. On my 2020 blazer and my check engine light came on and auto start fob doesnt work any more? Any suggestions?
Once the check engine light comes, no matter the reason, the auto start will automatically stop working as a safety feature of some kind.
Did you ever find out what the issue was?
I still have no clue how to get the battery out
By far the worst design by so called GM I'm so disappointed, they want you go do the dealer for everyting
Agree. It’s sad.
So the original owner of the car was righ- needs a professional!!! LMAO
Hey Tony 👋
Good video man. Who the fuck comes up with this designs
I would assume that an engineer that does not do mechanic work was the party in this case. Sad. In my opinion when changing the designs they should have to actually work on it to see if the design works. But at the same time I know many car companies do not want us working on our own cars and want us running to the dealer for everything paying their diag fees and hourly rates.
Poor video angles. Working on battery with rings on is a No No. Had too many workarounds.
Didn’t show much
