Super Vid. I was already considering getting the RS model. My fav feature that I did NOT want, until you mentioned that I can tell the remote start to heat the seats!! SOLD!!
Chevy told me after I bought Mt RS that because of the chip shortage, the heated seats and wheel won't work until the chips possibly come in 6-months from now (4th quarter 2022)
I bought a Blazer RS in November. One feature I stumbled on a month later is that you can have the speed limit displayed on the dash. It is not on by default. Even all the UA-cam videos I have watched have not shown it. It uses speed limit data from the GPS so not display on all roads.
Hi amazing explanation ! I have a blazer 2019 RS and my roof shade is not moving forward it stop at the middle of the roof top , it can go back so open complete but it will only close to the middle ! what can I do ????
Nicely done; I have a 2021 RS and learned a lot here. However, I cannot find any process to adjust or auto-start the cameras. Sometimes the front camera comes on at low speed, sometimes not. Not a big deal to swipe over and get it started, but I'd like it to start at low speed automatically. Again, nicely done video!
This was helpful, thank you! I really like learning about the clip! Also, is there a secret button to make the mirrors come in automatically or you just have to do it manually?
New to your content so you may of covered this elsewhere but I’ve come across several owners of various GM vehicles w the camera mirror that didn’t know that there is a camera wash for it. Thanks
I just got an RS. I have the windows enabled to go down with remote start. But how do you actually do it? What do you press on remote ? I know to lock and then hold down the circle arrow to start it. But can’t get the windows down.
As a GM engineer, I'm entitled to getting a vehicle at dealer cost. In 2017, I choose a Mazda6 instead of a Malibu. The Mazda6 came with all the bells and whistles along with all the safety features like auto emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection and forward collision that only came with the Premiere trim. Even after my GM discount, the Premiere was still almost $2k more expensive. GM really dropped the ball by making these standard features on other brands available only on the highest trim levels.
For the record, that tail light feature may not be implemented. In several states, it is a violation to have "...any light other than red visible when brakes are applied." The wording will vary from state to state, but anyone who has gotten a ticket for a small hole/open crack in the brake light before should know this. In other words, a white light visible on the brake light cover is a ticketable offense.
I wish there was a way to integrate the cameras into a recording system. Why buy a dash cam when the vehicle already has awesome camera coverage?...just need to know how to tap into it.
I've considered a Blazer RS. I live in a VERY small rural town. I'm 6'4" and I've noticed that you look very cramped behind the wheel. Tell me/us something that hardly any other car reviewer does. Early in your review, tell me/us how tall you are. Very simple and helpfull.
Thanks for the tips. My biggest pet peeve on new 2019-2022 Blazers is the absence of proper LED Brake lights. Not only are the incandescent bulbs dim, but slow reacting & burn out quickly. 2.5 hours Dealer Labor is required to replace each side. The Traverse had rear lighting units redesigned for 2018 & All models are full LED lighting, even low end. Camaro changed to LED in 2016 & Corvette in 2014. Not combination lights, but full LED. It is my understanding this was buried in the Design Table for the new Blazer, then they forgot to reimplement it. A 2022 Premium Priced vehicle without LED Brake lights (but has them in tail running lights) in inexcusable. Next time I shop for a vehicle, Chevy's out of the game.
Really? You won't buy a Blazer because it uses incandescent bulbs? Wow! I can understand if perhaps there were engine failures often, or transmission failures, but bulbs that have been in use for... close to 100 years is a deal breaker? Wow! I love my 2020 warts and all
@@craigogren6387 Yes, I already traded it in because of slacking design quality. I wasn't expecting them to pull that when all the LED technology was present.
oooo wow I see this being not cool with hidden features. The remote windows down feature. WTF? why would you add it for down but not up Chevy? stupid crap they do and don't complete on programming because they run out of money for innovations.
All that clicking and scrolling (in never-never-don't know where the hell I am land) is bull CRAP. How bout just simple toggle switch or button or even a simple voice command. Comprende?
I have had my Premier since July and I learned something new here and learn something new almost everyday. I love my ride!!
You can lock the glove box in valet mode with a pass code.
I still wouldn't trust it with high value items, like most glove boxes the latch mechanism is plastic and can be easily pried open

@@Cobra428SCJ...thanks it works in my new blazer rs

Hi, do you mind me asking how you set this up?
My Equinox shows this in the brochure but I could never figure out how to get it displayed. Just traded it for a Blazer RS
I saw that on the gmc and was looking for it on the blazer- so thanks for this!
How do I set this up? New rs blazer
The touring gauge display was my fav
Other reviewers said the car didn’t have any other option which I appreciate you showing otherwise 🙏🏼
Last one was one of the best I’ve seen the illuminated logo projected but didn’t know it was for hands free liftgate. 👍
Thanks, always afraid of touching things I know nothing about. Fear of messing things up. Great help and explanation.
The rear seat head rests have a tilt button. This help when you fold down the rear seats. In some cars you have to remove the headrests instead.
Good tip, Larry! Thanks for watching
The window and seat features with the remote start were my favorite. There is one more bowtie that I found, on the gear shift there is a tiny one too.

I found Heads up Display it's in the menu under HUD ..IT comes out of the little square on the dash and bounces off the windshield...Love it
I was wondering what that was
Awesome, I have this car. I liked the key deal in the settings to control the speed.
This was helpful, thank you! I really like learning about the clip!
Also, is there a secret button to make the mirrors come in automatically or you just have to do it manually?
I love those tail lights! Fabulously beautiful 💕❤️🎶🥰🌵
Careful storing/pulling that registration from the underside of the armrest console, cops might get a bit antsy. Great info, thanks!
Im thinking about getting this for my first car, I really love it from its exterior to its cool features, what do you think?
I think, definitely! Love the blazer!
I need a chevy Blazer!!
Yes, you do!!
Great video! We just got a 2024 Chevy Blazer RS. Do you know what the SD card in the center console is for?
Navigation!
Thanks. So I don't want to mess with it then do I?
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville Thank you. So I don't want to mess with it or remove it for any reason, correct?
I wouldn’t! But it won’t hurt anything if you take it out, you just won’t have the nav.
You need to get a new one to upgrade the nav system on older models
What button or combination of buttons do you press on the key fob to put the windows down after you set the settings to do so.
im wondering the same ...
Just hold the unlock button on the key fob
Can you set the key fobs to start the car far away? This blazer I’m driving is hard to start far distance
The one in the Headlight and Taillight are the first things I noticed when I looked at one at a dealership
Does it have auto door locks where it closes on its self in a few seconds without pressing the door locks?
Yes it does i have a 2020 chevy blazer rs
I heard another reviewer state that the Blazer RS is more comfortable for a tall person than the Ford Edge ST (which I have also considered).
At night there’s a Chevy emblem that shines on the ground for the hatch. Check it out

Hey how do you turn on the outlet by the backseats?
I just got an RS. I have the windows enabled to go down with remote start. But how do you actually do it?
What do you press on remote ?
I know to lock and then hold down the circle arrow to start it. But can’t get the windows down.
Hold the unlock button for 5 seconds

And the mazda 6 had reliability issues that make them a poor choice. My neighbor sold his lemon and got a honda.
Dam the color is sick
The rear seat reclines and moves back and forth.
Do you know if you can hide the odometer?

We just ordered ours. Goes into production on June 5th. Any idea how long it will take to get it after it’s in production.
4 weeks, they’re built in Mexico 🇲🇽
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville Thanks. I can’t wait. The RS is such a cool car.
It is so clean! 🔥
Mine was built February 2nd, 2022 and I was told it would be here on March 14th (tomarrow). About 40 days.
@@Cobra428SCJ This post of mine was from last year. We had it at end of June.

My buttons on mines won't open the glove box I think it's lock or stuck is there a buttons
How can I turn off the auto hi-beam headlights? it's a blinding issue with fog
on the left side stalk there is a small rectangular button with an "A" in it. Push that to defeat the auto high beams
Where can I get the red vent cover trim
That's the redline package. Will also have a red stripe on the wheels. And usually black rims.
How to change the air filter
Hold down either Home button to quickly jump to your Android auto screen. Press once to go back home.
Yes! Good tip
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville did you already know this ?🤔

You can lock the glovebox in valet mode!
I have a 2020 Midnight Blue RS loaded. Classic in 2040?
I think so

All LED lighting on the 2023 Blazer.

what does it tow?
Depends on the trim…1500-4500 lbs
Great!!’
Nice job! Can the locks go on automatically on this trailblazer?
I should add when you walk away from the car can you set it where they locked automatically engage?
The illuminated bow toe that shows where to put foot to open hatch❤
Great feature!
Its a shame we cant use the parking cameras as a dash cam
I know right?
The center air outlets rotate to adjust temps
I wanna return mine
We will gladly buy yours from you, Johnny!

These aren't hidden features. Nice try though.
