Does anyone know what that first connector is? The one that he unplugged at 0:22? Is that for the battery management system?

Double-check the following: all cables tight, cables are on correct terminals and ground is secure

I’m having the same issue…checked everything listed below. There’s voltage going through everything. How was your issue resolved?

@@CarCareKiosk Yeah there's a LOT of wires, make sure there all tight and MAKE SURE you also plug in the sensor that he disconnects first the one with the tab!! That's a battery sensor that allows the computer to monitor the battery voltages and conditions at all times! The computer MUST monitor the battery at all times because of the auto engine stop features of the vehicle! You know when you come to a traffic light the engine shuts off for a second yes that system!! It's a VERY COMPLEX system in these newer day vehicles!

I wonder how much people would LOVE doing this in below zero temperatures?? So much for "EASY" right GM?? So much for the olden days where you could just easily disconnect the battery terminals and pop a new battery right in, in under a few minutes!! GRRRRR, I guess it'd be easier to get someone to jump the vehicle and getting it to a garage before trying to replace the battery!!
