I appreciate your realness and the everyday-evaluation. Seeing the child car seats in the back and the lived-in perspective was very refreshing. Only problem is audio stops playing from the head unit at random times but it's a chevy software issue. Just never taken it in for it yet. Heard radiator leaks are common, but nothing else majorly is bad with these cars
Man watching this really made me appreciate our Mazda CX5 cause we had 3 years free maintenance meaning free oil changes and tire rotations etc, and since we bought it we haven't had any problems other than the ones my wife cause by running over sidewalks etc. lol I think you guys should get a Mazda CX90 once your lease is up, that will be fun to watch. Awesome video brother I enjoyed this.

Constantly running over nails is a driver issue not a Chevy blazer issue. The visibility over the dashboard is also a driver issue, not a Chevy Blazer issue. Adjust your seats properly. And sure, the performance doesn’t match a Hellcat or top of the line Camaro. Did you think it would for a considerably lower price?
i disagree about the seeing over dashboard thing. thats not a driver issue at all. The blazer has a narrow field of view from the driver seat plain and simple. Doesnt matter how much adjusting you do to the seat and obviously this person would know to do that.
Same dude. I’ve had my blazer rs 2019 since 2019 bought it with 5 miles on it. It has been nothing but problems. 5 battery swaps, shifter change, daytime running lights failed 3 times, electrical issues it never ends. I hate this car

Seems like the Radiator is an issue on these a lot. I just bought a Black 22 RS yesterday and it was mentioned on the service history they replaced the Radiator 3 months ago.
Im looking at Blazers right now at a used chevy dealership, looking at one with 46k for 21k. I have heard some people having problems but it seems like it's always the RS that does, I'm just looking at LT's. but im very worried about hearing problems with these, if i spend that much money I expect no problems.

4 year update on my wife's 2020 Blazer LT. We spent an extra $5k for the extended warranty because we travel a lot. The extended warranty only goes up to 60k miles. A/C went out at 61k. Dealer said it was the compressor, and it'll be $2,500 to fix it. The radio goes out on long rides, the emergency brake light, power steering light, abs lights keep coming on. Dealer said it needs a new radio. That'll be $1,500. Those lights on the dash they said it's some sensor that'll cost $500. This was all out of town. We got back home to my old shop. The ac condensor had a hairline crack. So I got the freon sucked out, bought the part for $120, put it in myself, and had it recharged with freon. As for the radio and all the lights, it was a bad cell battery, causing them to act up. So many things rely on that battey. Now we're at 80k miles. The transmission is slipping in the second gear. To fix or get rid of it?
I purchased my 2020 blazer rs back in May..used of course. Had 67,000 miles on it and since I had it , I was told I needed new brake pads, front and back rotors, cracked rim, steering resistant alert came on and now an ESC light keeps coming on. All this within 6 months.
I have a 21 AWD Premier with the V6… the only thing I have noticed is that it seems to slide on some roads when changing lanes or turning. I do have the tire inflation sensor issues sometimes as well. My tires are good and it’s 20in wheels. Is this normal with this car… it almost feels like hydroplaning but the road isn’t wet. Like the car slides … no explanation. Alignment is fine as well.
So i just got myself into a used 2021 3LT model of the same color which is an upgrade from a 2013 Ford Escape so this is a definite huge upgrade. However i would like to list off some things Im not too fond of with the vehicle despite it being in fantastic condition with 44k miles on it when i financed it. Occasionally the brake pedal is incredibly stiff when i go to start it in the morning. I dont like that after shifitng from park to drive/reverse the vehicle doesnt move until i actually tap the gas pedal. like whats the point in shifting if i still need a 2nd level of user engagement to make it move? Too much bouncy and sway from the suspension when turning. Side mirrors not big enough to give you a good view of both parking lines and traffic behind you at the same time so you need to find an awkward middle ground with the side mirrors. Steering feels stiff sometimes. When im backing up and i turn the wheel all the way to one direction the wheel feels very tight and abnormal. Vehicle feels like it bogs down sometimes when braking or trying to accelerate almost like the transmission is laggin behind. I think it has something to do with the vehicles 2 different engine modes changing between V4 engine and V6 as you get faster and slow down. If it were just a V6 then i dont think I would feel when its chugging down and up from each mode. Headrest cannot be removed. This is a big issue for me because i generally like to turn the headrest around because the backside actually has a shape to it that lets your head actually lay back more comformtably but not in an unsafe way. Not to mention the rare chance you happen to drive into a lake or river and you need to break the glass to escape. The metal poles of the headrest are designed to help you break the window but I find it to be an incredible flaw that the Blazer headrests are not removable. Like whose decision was that?? Lastly, the dashboard is quite large to see over. The left arm rest on the driver door is so low that if you adjusted your seat downward so your arm can rest on the armrest you then cant see over the dashboard very much. The opposite being that the window ledge that you hang/rest your arm on while window is open or closed is way too high up. So you have a low armrest thats unreachable if you want to still see over the dashboard as well as a window ledge rest thats too high that if you raise the seat that far up then your head practically hits the ceiling. The vehicle isnt cramped by any means but at 5'7 i wonder how people much taller than me feel about the driver seat space. I still enjoy the vehicle and the performance but theres a few ergonomical problems that stand out to me to ignore.
Away from the radiator and the ECM were their any major issues? Sounds like it’s not massively unreliable. I wouldn’t pick a CX-5 over this for the cramped interior of the CX-5 but then again the CX-5 doesn’t compete in the class where the blazer is in.(I love the CX-5 though). Also they do still make the gas Blazer as well.
