I can't put it into words, but the chordophones, it conveys what the game originally wanted to convey: a peaceful feeling of pride, for restoring the hope of a world. The feeling of warmth from doing the right thing, despite being the bad-guy.

You are the proof that video games can make you succesful in life. I had Wario Land 2, and when I finished the game, I learnt to never give up. You fail, then you retry. :)
Now I kinda wanna see an HD remake of this game just so they could have this version play during the end credits. (Though I guess it would be unnecessary since the 3DS has the original in its virtual console, but hey, that didn't stop them from making a 3D remake of Cave Story)
