- Wario Land 3 is a slapstick puzzle-platformer Metroidvania-lite, an overlooked Game Boy gem, and our favorite game in the Wario Land series. (4 comes fairly close, but...) For SiIvaGunner's King for Another Day Tournament, we wanted to give an old favorite of ours the rep it deserves. It was probably our most ambitious arrangement ever up to that point, and our first medley suite, so I hope I did it justice!
Thank you, Ms. Ishikawa, for an important part of the soundtrack to our childhood in your work on the original Wario Land games and Link's Awakening.

@@Mac14329 The sad part is that it's not even hyperbole. Super Smash Bros focuses almost exclusively on Wario Ware. The Wario Land content in Smash Bros is:
1: Wario's shoulder charge (which for some reason had been removed in Smash 4, but thankfully it came back in Ultimate)
2: The music from the first level of Wario Land: Shake It.
...and that's it. Two things. Meanwhile, Wario has the bike from Wario Ware, a Wario Ware stage, tons of Wario Ware music (including remixes), and not one, but TWO Wario Ware assist trophies.
The lack of appreciation for the Wario Land franchise in Super Smash Bros is the saddest thing about Smash Bros, and I say this as someone who absolutely loves Smash and thinks that it usually does a phenomenal job at representing franchises.

@@Mac14329 As I explained, the "entirety" of Wario Land content in Smash Bros is currently just two things: one attack and one song. Please do explain how exactly Smash Bros is doing more justice to Wario Land by only having two pieces of content from it. In contrast, this 5-minute video already provides 9 pieces of content (9 Wario Land song remixes), which is a stark contrast to, well, zero Wario Land remixes in Smash.

Also, I didn’t say Smash Bros. did more justice than this. I said that the “five minutes of this better than entirety of that” is hyperbole.
And also, WarioWare was always meant to be the franchise represented in Smash with Wario (down to the main costume). Wario Land was a little extra treat.

I'm getting all joyous inside. This was my favorite game back on the Game Boy Color. I never did beat it because I was a dumb little boy who couldn't solve all of its intricate puzzles, but I enjoyed exploring the world all the same.
Thank you so much for this arrangement, and here's to Wario Partners LLP! I bet they could take at least 2 more rounds with good rips like this one!

Just FINALLY 100%'d (this) one of my favorite/first video games I ever received. After TWENTY ass years. Could not recommend more going back to finally finish off the job my man. You won't regret it in the slightest.

My old comment said "I like it". I've revised that, I fucking love this! The way the tracks blend, in with each other in ways I never even thought of. If they ever did a remake of the game, this style of music would be perfect.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm....sounds good. In all honesty I love this game and you perfectly recreated what I loved about the soundtrack while adding a nice spin on these lovely songs. It has that perfect thing with a lot of remixes where you can definitely enjoy the original song however it stands on its own with what seems to be a much bouncier vibe. Nice job!

I somehow did not like Wario Land 3 the first time I played it.
I have since atoned for my sins by collecting every single treasure in it. Haven't had a chance to find all the music coins yet, but it's on my bucket list.
As much as I love this game, it took me till this past year to collect all the music coins myself!
Wario: Treasures came and went but I always kept the music box, however no matter how many times I played it or stared longingly into it, it never once brought me back. Sometimes I would think I had dreamt it all

This medley is a banger. The game is what I had in my childhood. I really love how you incorporate the other songs into one. It makes the overall song itself really worth listening. Great job!

I needed to use that track, because I'm planning on making a level that is based on Wario Land 3 itself, which will be more modern looking. The planned level is for a big Mario fangame called Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.
