@@marioandtrafficlightfan3282There’s tons of those particular lights in my city, I always like those particular lights because they’re easy to understand, especially if drivers don’t know who has right of way in the intersection, they’re so much easier to deal with than the turning lane lights with just four lights (a static red arrow, a static yellow arrow, a flashing yellow arrow and a static green arrow) as it’s easy to tell when you’re about to lose the right of way on the former. Great choice!

I'd like to mention that for the FF2 skip in doing the gravity shenanigans, MarioFan and Dendonodon played huge roles.
MarioFan showed that with the correct lava boost, it was possible to go to the FF2 planet from the race area, and Dendonodon proved that it was possible to go to the ending area of FF2, which saved several seconds already. I only came up with the fast version of the skip, in which you bounce of the ice panels, which saved around 15 more seconds.
Also, for the Dreadnought skip at 3:07, it was PurpleSun who came up with the Goombeetle-less setup, which saved a few more seconds.

I honestly find it very interesting/inspiring. One single video about something very weird that can happen in a beloved video game. It's very well presented, follows the "documentary meta".
And it works fantastic; the title is crafted in such a way that the viewer knows vaguely, but also doesn't know exactly what the video is about before watching, and they're like "wait what, what is he talking about".
And yet all you do is to present something that you're passionate about, without thinking "it has to be good, else my viewers won't be interested anymore". I absolutely admire the way this video has popped off, hats off to you, and I can wish only the best for the future of this channel. 🎉❤

I spent an hour seeing all the wild stuff on the channel... I recommend checking it out from how different it is compared to what you might expect to see! I’ve been following it since then, and I’m glad someone else noticed it too. It is unbelievable how many previously thought TAS-esc tricks there are, and it’s not even in the interest of speedrunning- mostly it’s trying to find unique black hole deaths. I remember in one of his comments he mentions not being interested in speedrunning at all. It’s a great channel and I find the unintentional overlap with speedrunning tricks extremely funny, bahaha.

MATLF reminds me of that random God of War speedrunner that happened to have discovered like dozens of unknown skips to the community on his own without even participating in the community itself. He didn’t know about some of the more well-known basic skips but had found so many hidden ones

This video has been in my Watch Later for a month. All that time, I thought that some types of traffic light used fans for cooling, and that one of these somehow impacted Super Mario Galaxy speedrunning. ._.

this video brought me back to some amount of my childhood- before and after school the kid that my mom babysat and I would play different game hunting glitches and OOB's-
so many gamecube and PS2 games we explored, I could probably make a several hour long documentary about all the glitches if I had them all memorized and organized...
