Aschleep luckyyy, I’m tall. Here’s some tips that my doctor told me on growing taller
1-get more sleep
2-get calcium levels high-drinking milk ain’t enough. If you don’t like dairy then take calcium pills
3-have breakfast each morning! Doesn’t matter what it is, just take anything
4-drink 2L water daily
5-exercise, at least walk around the house daily if ur lazy like meeeee
If none works, then u either have to wait or it’s just family genes. Girls tend to stop growing a year or 2 after their period, but if ur a boy then idk about that lmfaoooo

Early puberty has nothing to do with short stature, but genetics determines that there are those who begin their puberty at the age of ten or 12, but a big growth spurt occurs within two years and they become tall and others at 16 did not get tall due to genes I think

Surprisingly, when it comes to size, my family is extremely odd about it! Hear me out, and this is the utmost truth! I'm 13 and the same size as my mother as well as my older sister who is 4 YEARS OLDER THAN ME!!! She was a VERY small baby according to my mum, so that might explain it! Also, my younger sister (I'm in the middle of a family with 4 females and one male (dad LOL XD); my younger sister is 2 years younger and is almost the same size! My mum was always on the short size so that might explain the lack of height! However, I take after my mum mostly, yet a bit of dad got passed down to me with being taller you know?

Your so lucky, I started mines at 9 and I’m currently 13, think I stopped growing, however its not worth it, I would’t mind being taller at all, I felt uncomfortable my whole life and still do now, starting puberty early is the worst, I still don’t get it why it was me god. I may be short but I don’t look like a kid. Looking not grown is best, why are people always complaining, no one see’s how much there blessed, its better then feeling uncomfortable and wearing multiple layers, don’t get me wrong I’m not self conscious at all, I’m just uncomfortable, theres a huge difference if you haven’t noticed… -_-

An opthalmologist is an eye specialist. Which means not only does he go to medical school that a normal doctor attends but he ALSO goes into special training for the eyes. That doesn't mean he is any less able to speak about growth plates than your family doctor.
When I was 14 I thought I leveled off at 5'4 but now I am 19 and 5'5. I wonder if I'm done growing for sure now or if I'm gonna slowly grow a little more. I kind of hope I'm done.

Even boys reach there full height at max 19-20 but for girls to stop fully growing at 22 is close impossible.

Sarah Holland from what I heard that if you start puberty very early known as precocious puberty. I think you reach your full height much sooner while having short parents sometimes means you will be short. Its not always the case because it can come from grandparents as well so it's hard to know for sure. It sucks that we can't predict the time and day the growth will happen again since it's different ages for all people.

I started getting my period when I was 12,at the end of the month of 12 and was around 148cm back then... Now I'm 15 and is 149cm... Why is it that I haven't gotten a growth spurt?.... I grew 1cm because I stretch everyday to try gaining height... Am I done for? My mom is around 148cm and dad's about 160+... angelina , it also depends on when you started your period and when you parents stopped growing usually (for girls it’s when the mom stopped growing) but there’s no way to tell when for sure you’ll stop growing and eat a lot of nutritious food and drink 1-2 glasses of whole milk (8-10 oz) for your calcium it’s important for your bone strength and it can help you grow in your teenage years. Girls usually stop growing about 1-2 years after they start there period but everyone is different so I can’t say for sure:)
