It’s always the same answers for every ailment. Do the basic natural things. Avoid the destructive unnatural things. Simple, yet takes discipline. Thanks, doc.

    How to increase HGH naturally:
    1. Get plenty of deep sleep
    2. Do intense exercise
    3. Keep your blood sugar levels low (do Healthy Keto)
    4. Include amino acids in your diet (protein)
    5. Do fasting
    6. Include niacin in your diet
    7. Get plenty of vitamin D from sun exposure
    Things that inhibit growth hormone:
    • Cortisol (stress)
    • A high-carb or high-sugar diet
    • Hyperinsulinemia
    • Obesity
    • A low thyroid
    • Liver damage
    • Alcohol
    • Age
Human growth hormone is involved in:
    • Fat-burning
    • Building collagen, cartilage, and muscle
    • Endurance during exercise
    • Recovery
    • Cognitive function
    • Height
    Thank you Dr Berg! 🐱👍🏿

I'm going to give this all a try starting with a fast on sunday. I fell back in some bad habits recently but thanks to your information provided I managed to lose about 50lbs since march this year. Gonna enjoy some more of those unhealthy things and get a fresh mind for a fresh start. No more bad habits then. Thank you for your great effort, Dr. Berg. Without your effort I wouldn't have managed to get a big portion of my life back and sooner or later I'll take it all!

All else being equal (that includes level of exercise), you absolutely make LESS HGH as you age (see ACSM). But if you haven't been working out much, or doing intermittent fasting, there are fresh gains to be had-- in your 50s, 60s, 70s, etc!

It’s damn near impossible for me to sleep deeply with fasting. I always have to cheat with like an almond to actually fall asleep. I think my anxiety/depression has a lot to do with that.

Thanks for the presentation and analysis. I'm right on the money with your suggestions, ** I'd like to add one aspect which was concluded on a study*
"" for 76 hours after super intense exercise, your immune system is compromised""
I totally agree with this study. For years , I've been training kick boxing..
Nothing is more intense. For years , I'm tooling along great .. say about 6 weeks into training.. I catch flu/or cold. Never fails.. Along this train of thought, they asked Lee Haney ( 8 time Mr. Olympia) what his secret to success.
He said.. He isolated 6 months before competition. He didn't want to be near any virus that would cause major set backs.

Hello. I'm a 14 year old obese teenage boy. I really want to try longer fast. Would You recommend me to do just OMAD or 2-5 days water fasting and combining with HIIT. I have HGH deficiency. Would it be beneficial to HGH or just damaging?

@gamerBoy I gained slot of wait over there lady 7 years and I've been watching and following a lot of dr. Bergs videos. If you want some advice on how to lose weight well what I'm doing is fasting I only eat one meal. And I eat it between 8pm to 12 a.m that's three best time to eat and make them meal as healthy as you can. Another thing is try to eliminate sugars and that's hard I'm still struggling with that a bit because I love my peach red bulls. But cutting out sugar for atleast 2 weeks will make a huge change and then you will liked your results and keep going. But just drink water all day and rest only ones times easy a good healthy meal between 8pm to 12a.m and exercise 2 to 3 times a week don't over do it with exercising. Good luck to you. Updated us and let us all know how things are going for you

@@ashleyritchie5749 Thank You, for your reply and advice. I also have done intermittent fasting and tried to cut carbs especially sugar. It was hard, but I witnessed some changes in my mood and body even face. And I lost about 5 pounds in a short period. This month I was consuming more sugar I only did 20:4 fasting with walking. But that also helped a lot. So I think I'm gonna do OMAD or 20:4 fast as a teen (that I won't disturb my body with extended fast) and do some moderate level training or just walking.

When you say the more intense the exercise, the more HGH, wouldn't be better to do hill sprints (for a shorter time period than normal sprints) ?

Hey Doc, would you be able to do a multi-part series of different body types getting to a generally healthy state? Such as an obese person getting to a healthy state, skinny person to healthy state, lean person to gain more muscle, etc? Maybe a 7-8 part series of different ones?

if you have enough B1, you can drink green tea or coffee to boost GH %300-500-1000 like exercise or fasting by coffein. but sometimes chronically inflammation which underlies low intracellular potassium levels cause low IGF-1 levels . thus if you even increase your GH levels in the brain, your IGF-1 level stays still low in liver and you dont see enough antiaging effect. potassium levels in cells are directly related to IGF-1 syntese and anti-aging affect. you can google the relationship between potassium and IGF-1 yourself. Carbs or sugars usually depletes both potassium and B1.
i will give you key information which tells the relationship between potassium and vitamin B1. watch out this:
"In short, thiamine deficiency causes intracellular potassium wasting.
Animal research in rats showed that chronic thiamine deficiency increases sodium tissue content in heart, liver and skeletal muscle by 18-35%, while also decreasing potassium content by 18-25%. Interestingly, although tissue levels were altered, plasma levels of these electrolytes remained unaffected and stayed within the normal-high range (sodium at 141.6 and potassium at 4.8). This means that blood measurements did not reflect tissue content.
The thiamine deficient group also displayed remarkably lower levels of stored liver glycogen (0.3gm/100 vs 2.7gm/100 in controls). This inability to store glycogen is one factor which helps to explain the strong tendency towards hypoglycemia seen in many people with a thiamine deficiency."
