9:45 Check out my video on zinc!
In this video, we’re going to talk about how to increase your height naturally.
Children typically grow two inches in height each year between age one and puberty-this increases to four inches a year during puberty. Your height typically stops increasing between ages eighteen and twenty.
If you’re under twenty and want to grow taller, this information is for you.
While there is a genetic limitation to your maximum height, you can support your growth with nutrients. Nutrient deficiencies can significantly reduce your height.
Three types of hormones are directly related to growing taller:
    • Human growth hormone (HGH)
    • Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1)
    • Thyroid hormones
Low HGH can be caused by:
    1. Zinc deficiency:
    • Excess phytates
    • Sugar and refined carbs
    • Alcohol
    • Stress
    • Not enough red meat or shellfish
    2. Insufficient protein
    3. Lack of sleep
    4. Obesity
    5. Smoking
    6. Caffeine
    7. Low vitamin D
    8. Starvation
Low IGF-1 can be caused by:
    • Liver damage-especially a fatty liver from a high-carb diet
Low thyroid hormones can be caused by:
    • Iodine deficiency
    • Not enough seafood, shellfish, and sea kelp
The best supports to help increase your height are:
    1. A quality trace mineral product with zinc (or red meat and shellfish)
    2. Pituitrophin PMG (SP)
    3. Lots of sleep
    4. Avoid phytates
    5. Vitamin D3 (regular exposure to sunlight)
    6. Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting

My brother stopped growing around 18 - 19, then when he was 31 started complaining about extreme growing pains (especially at night time). He thought it was arthritic pain. But shockingly he ended up growing 2 more inches. Went to see his doctor, the doctor got scared thinking it was cancer or something, they sent him to specialists, the specialists said yeah it happens. Its not common, but it happens. So all the nonsense of growth plates and their knowledge of growth and the body is obviously wrong.

I’ve always felt nutrition probably played a key part of height. I’m Latino, my dad was born in the mid 1920s and he was about 5’8” which was actually kinda tall for a Latino man, back then. My mom was 5’4” which was a decent height. Born in the early 60s, I’m 6’, my two younger sisters are 5’6” & 5’9”. I can’t help but think food in the 60s didn’t have all the additives & genetic modifications like today. Both my parents were good cooks and we ate balanced meals with a wide variety of vegetables and meats, including many organ meats that were not typically consumed by Americans at that time. I’d say that a good diet gave us kids 4 inches of height on our parents.

To go along with Doc’s protocol… As a licensed massage therapist, I can tell you that you can stimulate growth with foot massage/reflexology.
Also hanging helps release pressure from the spine that gravity plays a big role on our bodies.
So I’d say keep your diet in check, exercise, and getting regular bodywork done will have a great effect on growing taller.
I would bet that you’d find benefits from using red light therapy/ photobiomodulation therapy as well.

My mom sent me to play sports, every summer, swimmer, basketball… and made me drink lots and lots of bone broth stew, beef, pork cooked with lots of different kinds of veggies 🥕..
During the day played lots of sport , after having a delicious meal then went to bed. I slept at least 8 hours a day during the summer, then bam 💥, from June to September , I grew about 2 inches..
Every since then , my mom contuned to use this formula on my height. When I started at college I grew to 5’11” , way taller than 5’6” the doctor predicted.

I had a zink deficit as a child, I’m 6ft and I always felt that I should have been taller, my mom was 5.8 and my dad was 5.5 so making it to 6ft was good, but I thought I should have been 6.2. Now looking at the Netherlands they switched the nation, to a vitamin/ mineral rich diet and now they are one of the tallest nations in the world.

My oldest grandson is nine years old. He is one of the shortest boys in his class. He eats chicken nuggets all of the time. He basically seemed to have been raised on them. He eats Cambell’s soup too. Sometimes he likes tacos. He loves pickles. He is very picky. He likes sweets but not as much as his little brother. When the boys eat with us, his grandparents, we serve real foods, meat, veggies and sometimes rice or potatoes. The oldest complains about the gross food we put in his plate. He is slowly learning to broaden his palate, but it is frustrating to see him reject the good foods.

I stopped growing at age 13 (menstruation started at age 11.) But when I was in my mid 20s I started working out and eating healthier (not keto.) I went from 5’5.5” to 5’6.25”
I had been 5’5.5” anytime I had been measured even when I took all my measurements at the beginning of my fitness journey.
And now, even after I stopped working out as much I still kept the added height. I know it’s not much but it’s something!

Milk is one of the most underrated when it comes to this. My parents are both below the average height and most of my family relatives too, but I managed to get to 6ft 1 because i used to sprint as a kid, but more importantly was forced to drink milk everyday until the age of 18. Thinking back on it I'm quite grateful for it. Anyone reading this, genetics doesn't determine the entirety of your height potential, other factors definitely play a strong role. Thanks for reading!

But 70 percent of height is determined by genetics. Im already taller than my parents but my aim is to reach 5’8 by the time im 18
