MISS SILVER has returned to her birthplace of New Zealand for a complete refit including interior décor and fittings, new teak decks, complete repaint, mast service and rigging replacement, new Sails and systems maintenance and/or replacement as needed.
Her interior is bright and comfortable with contrasts between dark wood joinery and light-colored carpeting and fabrics. Her well-balanced interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 staterooms, comprising of a master suite, 1 double cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also equipped to accommodate up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
MISS SILVER features a beautiful, raised saloon plus lower saloon design with an interior dining area for up to 10 guests. On deck, guests can relax in the shade under the covered cockpit, which also provides a wonderful al fresco dining area.

I crewed the first yacht out of Alloy Yachts, Chanel, also an Ed Dubois design. The similarities are very apparent.
Chanel (not sure of her current name) was an absolute dream to sail. Auckland-Apia-Hawaii-California-Canada-Alaska-California-Mexico , returned to her later in Amsterdam-Portsmith (refit) - Azores-Florida were she was sold…..

Interesting price history: If I'm not wrong was her aksing price in 2010: € 5.25 million, in 2019: € 2.95 million and today: € 5.95 million (inculding refit but the leather uppolstery has obviously not been replaced in the last 26 years, yuck). A typical timless Ed Dubois design, so sad that he died so early!

How can a sail be asymmetric? It has 2 sides and can be treated as a 2 dimensional object. So mustn't one side be symmetric to the other? Beautiful interior...for the dock. Stove's not gimbaled and countertops not fiddled. Lot's of free standing furniture as well. An enigma...a cipher...a puzzle...a real head scratcher

The answer is complicated and probably not easily explained in a comment section. Google "asymmetrical spinnaker vs symmetrical" and you can get quite a few answers that will explain it.
Was she really built in 1995? She's in spectacular nick. Such a beautiful interior. I was once on an Alloy yacht and it was a total piece of shit.
Sure, it's nice but imho a little too ritzy for me. Far too many modern vessels lack that character we generally find in older boats.
Everything that ship is good for, would be better done at home.
