Now THAT is what you do with the stern of a sailing yacht like this, an opening porch/balcony for the master stateroom, not a dinghy garage. This is one of the most remarkable yachts I've seen. I've gotta play MegaMillions again! 😁🤑
Finally a sailing yacht on your channel. Been following for a long time now, but being a true sailing fanatic, no matter how lavish and exquisit motor yachts are, there is no greater feeling than having full sails up and harnesing nature to take you places :-) Loved the video!
I sailed on a 12 meter racing yacht in San Diego for a few days and ended up as a grinder of all things and when racing, oh my lord is it hard work, every part of my body was screaming out to stop but the exhilaration and excitment of being in racing mode watching the sails and catching every trickle of breeze was amazing, there was no way of handing over my position, the boats power was just something else. The last day of my 4 day sailing racing adventure was being the helmsman, Something that l will cherish for the rest of my life. Having the skipper next to me giving me instructions of the finest detail in mastering the magnificent will live with me forever, what a buzz. Just to feel the awesome power of these sailing boats, to see the breeze on the water and to trim the sails accordingly and steer the vessel into the breezes is out of this world, l learnt so much in such a short period of time, just an incredible feeling.
That is one incredible beautiful yacht! It definitely has the "wow" factor. I don't know if stunning really captures the true beauty. It easily competes with the beauty & elegance of a Parini Navi.
She is a stunner for sure. However there is a distinct difference between having a crewed sailing super yacht and moving down the scale for the average boat owner (say 50 ft and under). I went as guest crew on a client's sailing yacht (Beneteau Oceanis 54) amazing experience but bloody hard work!
It depends a lot on the rig. Bermuda rigs are unbelievably fast , but IMHO just way too much work to sail for "fun" for anything longer than a weekend. Any type of Balanced lug rig is WAY more comfortable . That said...this auto rolling rig is probably pretty easy to manage .
absolutely stunning! I have seen and sailed on a lot of quality ocean sailing yachts over the years but this is a different category.... WOW!! What an honor for the crew to be able to sail this beauty.

Perfect name for a very well built yacht. I once owned a sail boat, I was 18 and knew nothing about it. During a company weekend party my boss and I loaded up a cooler of beer and went sailing across the lake..... took us 8 hours to figure out how to get back. Sun burned and defeated we laughed as we still had 1 beer left.... good times
wow what a stunning yacht and yes the master stateroom was one to behold. Fantastic and she looks so fine when under sail. thanks for bringing us a sailing yacht.
This sailing yacht is beyond fantastic. It is the stuff of dreams for anyone who would one day want to sail the deep waters to distant lands and do so at their own pace..
As a sailing yacht owner watching your enthusiasm this beautiful sailing yacht I truly hope to see more like this What a Stunning Yacht, The name only is a gem in its own right.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I have no experience in sailing but have a fascination with sailboats. One of these days I hope to sail Caribbean. Great video!!!!
love the older style sailing vessels....but.....wow.....dreams are made of this, however the cash for the crew alone would be mind numbing......beautiful sailing machine.
David my ship has not even come in on a tug boat. But I love your channel. I have friends that have sailed around the world and I sent them this video saying, "If you get a sailboat like this. I'll throw away the keys and join you!!" As it is said in Sri Lanka, "Let we see!"
About time you understood the visceral nature of sailing. Big boat or small boat, the feeling is very much the same as you trim the sails and you feel the boat surge, riding the waves in a way a motor boat/yacht will never make you feel.
Great boat for sure Beautiful and unique Gratulation for featuring a sailing yacht. Maybe you can feature a foling tri or catamaran one day if you want to feel speed.
Love my powerboats but as I older now .. I am more into sailing yatch s. To now 💯💯. This is amazing. ,, I am moving to Miami to get more into boats and water resanates. More to me in life now ,: like ur channel lots
Very good walkthrough thoroughly enjoyed and found it fascinating. A beautiful and well appointed yacht, but too modern for me. Shenandoah of Sark is the one that appeals to me, a beautiful mix of old and new, elegant and beautiful yachtl
A famous Irish legend. Didn't work out too well for the children, though. I wrote that before watching the video, so I see you mentioned the legend/myth. Gorgeous yacht.
Don't know why but i know a few people who own boats, much smaller though, they all cost less than a house. And all of them keep buying and selling them. First one was two small, second one to big, third one not fast enough. etc. I think what you want from a boat changes with time.
During the pandemic I have been looking at pictures of this yacht to dream of better times, I keep the tab open at all times even. Probably will always be a dream for me though.
Fantastic video as always.... Great to finally see a sailing yacht. I hope you will be able to make a video about the fantastic 500exp in the background in the future.... ;)
The words the captain told you make the difference between boating and sailing for me. I have the certificate of competence for ocean yachting for both motor and sailing boats, Swiss offshore license and I like to tell you not the drinking at anchor make you rich, the way to get there is the experience. ⛵👍🥇
Nice yacht, it would be intresting to know more about the crew. For example the woman that seemed to constantly keep the sails in trim. Also the boom furling has 2 more verry important advantages. If the rolling fails anytime you can still pull down the sail, no matter when the problem occured. Rolling in the mast your in deep trouble when the sail gets stuck halve way rolling in, especially when a storm is coming. And you can have normal battens in the sails.
Great video as always, although I have to say I'm more into "normal" yachts as well. Do you have any information on the grey yacht floating around in the background in a few shots? That is one beautiful piece of engineering!
Wow, I'd love to own her... Or just be invited to go out on her for just a few hours. But alas its unlikely to ever happen. Great video, and it's nice to see you having fun with the "new" knowledge.
I always chuckle when the owner's stateroom is in the bow on a sailboat - that's the least comfortable place if waves pick up. The owner's and guest accommodation at the stern show that the builder and the owner actually know what they're doing.
Thanks for the video. David now that you have dipped your toe into sailing yachts. Can you please do some blogs on the larger Motor Sailor yachts. Thanks. Keep the videos coming
Sailing is for me about doing as little work as possible, relaxing and enyoing the ride. That means tounching a bottom and not having to struggle or exert myself trying to control the ship... so for me sailing is exactly about touching a bottum. I would want to pull no sheets or ropes or whatever...
Yah, there's something to the very feel of being powered by Nature direct. The whole vessel is an engine, you might say, everything interacting and thrumming with the relations of the cosmos. It's essentially nuclear powered, from sun to wind to sail to you, in a chain of events so far-reaching, yet so immediate, that you either become a part of it -- and let it become a part of you -- or be cast away by the maelstrom of the wild. That's the sport of the thing, and the reward. How close can you bring yourself to the edge of the possible, how far into the wide world of wonder, and still have enough left to take some back home with you at the end of the journey? We usually say "It's the journey" but even that's not quite right... Truly, it's about the Becoming, and what you may turn into as you do. You may not be the same thing when you come back as you were when you went out, which is the better part of the reason for going in the first place.
My God , she is stunning , a state of art.
I think this embodies state of the art: ua-cam.com/video/mv5ux-KovZQ/v-deo.html

Agree with everything you wrote, but simpler, smaller sailboats also offer similar fun: the pure joy of sailing.
This guy is a great presenter, seems to communicate his passion for the boats in a sincere manner.

Finally, sailing yachts. Nothing can compare to a sailing yacht. There is simply nothing else like sailing.

What a beautiful boat.
I may never be able to own a superyacht of any size, but your videos make it almost like I on board one for a short time. Thank you.
