Sir my mother has tmj issue. I saw her a doctor. The doctor said to remove 4 wisdoms teeth then if the pain stays then she needs to wear a occlusal splint ? And we removed two wisdoms teeth from the upper position of left and right side but the pain still giving. What should i do now??

How long you need to use that splint? That should be use on 24 hours? Or just at night? Thank you
Splint need to be used 12-15 hours a day for 3-6 months followed by occlusal adjustment

Hi we take bite registration before splint fabrication based on patients bite and then fabricate splint . Some time we do digital splint by desire tht sending scan for 3 D printed splint 😊
