The most interesting “side effect” of this routine is the emotional release I feel. It’s crazy how our emotions can get trapped in our muscles too.

I did these exercises on a bit of a whim and goodness me! I can’t believe the difference it has made. Especially the one where you massage the muscles from inside your mouth. Over the years my various dentists have instructed me to wear a night guard. But only treats the symptoms not the cause! It doesn’t stop the clenching/grinding. I still clench/grind but am now destroying my mouth guard rather than my teeth. I want to STOP clenching/grinding.
I’m so sad glad I found your video! The result is immediate! These muscles are immediately looser and more relaxed. Wow!!

This is wonderful advice. Another nice spot to hit is the ears! When I went to school to become a massage therapist, they had us turn our heads as far as we could in both directions. Then massaging our ears for about 1 minute, the cartilage around the outside, your ear lobes, along the tragus (the cartilage halfway up your cheekbone, then moving your entire ear by tugging on it in different directions. Our ears were beet red by the end, but they had us retest our neck rotation and all of us could turn further than before. Sometimes when I have a tendon headache I'll massage my ears, even in public, because you have so many muscles connecting near your ears, it kind of helps them all!

Not 100% sure if I hit the right spots inside the mouth, but I went through the whole video and can definitely notice the difference. My jaw isn't defaulting to the clenched position like it has done for the past few days (thanks work....). Thank you for the video. I also liked the more detailed explanations.

I have noticed largely I started clenching my teeth whenever trying to relax and during sleep (never happened before) to the point my jaw hurt in the morning. Thanks to this video I realized standing for 6-8 hours every day and constantly talking with customers was doing this to my face. I don't know if I'll clench my teeth tonight as well, but I've just completed the massage and I feel my jaw so relaxed like I haven't felt in months. I can't keep my jaw up even if I want to. It's just fantastic 💯🎉 Thank you ❤

I have suffered from impacted wisdom tooth surgery at 47 and I have some complications afterwards with the neighboring teeth, one extracted. I still have a habit of clenching on my teeth when I sleep at night, which has also caused severe damage and root fractures on those weakened teeth.. I sleep with a night guard prosthesis on my top and bottom teeth however, I still push down even with that on. I have tried everything. I’m giving this a try tonight doing this facial massage and neck massage before I go to bed to see if it helps me release some of this need to clench in my sleep. I will update as time goes on and I do this every night.

This was very helpful thank you. My jaw on the right side has been locking lately. As I was massaging my right jaw it’s evident that it’s very tender compared to the left side. I am hoping by doing this a few weeks my jaw will go back to normal. Thanks again for showing us the massage techniques.
