Forgot to add that your teaching is absolutely perfect!! I’ve crocheted for a lot of years but outside of being taught a couple of stitches, and the fact that I stick to straight lines-I’ve never known names for the stitches, never understood counting and that you can measure-I am smack in the middle of an enormous king-sized blanket and the ends absolutely don’t line up. It’s a good thing I’m only making this mammoth blanket for myself, as I don’t care that’s it is perfectly square or wonky, but i am thrilled to think I could make something besides a flat scarf and a blanket. THANK YOU!!!
This turned out absolutely PERFECT! I used double strands of worsted weight yarn and the only issue I had was finding where my stitches changed up. I started using stitch markers which may seem a little redundant but it solved the issue and it was well worth it. I LOVE the way it closes at the top. No awkward wrinkles! Thank you so much for this pattern!
This has to be the NICEST and EASIEST crocheted beanie pattern that I’ve ever tried! I have ruined all the other crochet patterns I have tried to watch, but this one fits my head perfectly and looks amazing! ♥️ your tutorial is super easy to comprehend, and it’s slower for those (like myself) who need the pattern slowed down just the tiniest bit.♥️
I have tried several beanie patterns and the size never turned out right i made a infant one like this just by eye balling it and it turned out great! Made another one to her size in the video also turned out great! This is by far the best tutorial iv found!

My daughter is 8 months and has a tiny head so I started with 26 chains and then did as many rows as it took to go around her head. My six year old son I did 36 chains and it’s a little to long for him but i just keep it rolled up more I haven’t counted the rows on either hat I just go until it comfortably fits around their head.
I have tried a few chunky beanie patterns over the last week and ended pulling them all back. This was so easy and the end result looks great and I’m a novice. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be doing more of these. 😊
Great tutorial! Instructions are super clear! Love that you slow down a bit while you crochet to let those who are still learning “catch up”! Lol keep up the awesome work!

Nice tutorial. Very simple instructions to follow. I will be making this for my grand daughter. I also like the pom pom. Where did you get the piece to hold it onto the hat.

I'm trying to crochet this hat left-handed, would I hdc the front loop only instead of the back loop only because I am going in the opposite direction?
Hi and thank you very much for sharing your pattern. I like it a lot. But the picture is often very blurry and makes the process or the result difficult to see. 😕 Have a nice day ! 🙏😘
I'm hoping you or someone can help me. I'm making this hat (but in a thinner yarn) as part of a costume for my granddaughter, however it's turning out a little too short. It started out fine, even a little too long, but as the width has expanded it has somehow lost 2 inches in length 😕 Is there a way to make it a little longer without making it look bad? I haven't sewn the top shut yet, so I could add to either top or bottom. I just need 1 more inch and I don't have time to start over. I'd appreciate anyone's help.
Try giving it a stretch. Go ahead and pull on it. With this design there is no way to add hight to the hat. The brim rolls over though so you could just wear it without rolling the brim.
@JonnaMartinezCrochet Thanks for your reply. I've made this style hat several times before (different creator but basically same pattern) for myself and my grandkids, and they always turn out perfectly. I gave it a stretch and it's now fine. I forgot that as you crochet the stitches scrunch up a bit and panicked at 1 am as I was finishing it up. I just couldn't understand how it suddenly was measuring over 2 inches shorter, especially since I'm crocheting it relatively loosely. So anyway, it seems to be ok now. Thanks again for your prompt help and for your great tutorials! 😊
If you change the hook size after the first row when you're gauge the length does that mean you could continue with the project or should you start over?
I love this! Jonna can you tell me how many “v’s” we should have at the end of each row? I did purchase the pdf/file on Etsy but my phone is being difficult lately and wont download the pattern for me. My first name is Nona and i purchased it yesterday. Thank you for this beautiful tutorial. ❤️

I don't know what I am doing wrong but I have had to unravel over 7 rows, 3 times because it keeps getting shorter. Is it supposed to have 34 chains on each row? I don't' know how I keep messing it up ugh!
Finally, a knowledgeable crocheter that doesn’t go too fast and I ❤the hat pattern. The best one I have tried. Thanks so much!

Hi, I’m very happy to hear you enjoy my tutorial.
I do not know what kind of yarn you are using.
So with that hook you want to make a chain as long as the first row is supposed to be (about 12”) then keep working the rows until the hat is about 48cm wide. (To accommodate for stretch)
Hopefully this helps! Thank you for watching and commenting!

I'm trying to crochet this hat left-handed, would I hdc the front loop only instead of the back loop only because I am going in the opposite direction?
Nope, just crochet. It’s the same on both sides.
What size will this hat fit and where can I find the different sizes for this pattern?
I'm sure this is great for a lot of people. but I don't think it really is for "Beginners."
…I mean, it’s the first thing I ever made, so I had pretty good luck with it 😅😆
Hi and thank you very much for sharing your pattern. I like it a lot.

@JonnaMartinezCrochet
Thanks for your reply. I've made this style hat several times before (different creator but basically same pattern) for myself and my grandkids, and they always turn out perfectly. If you change the hook size after the first row when you're gauge the length does that mean you could continue with the project or should you start over?
I always find it’s worth starting over. It’s only one row. But you can absolutely try it and see what happens. Thanks for watching.
I think it's worth starting over too, but when you start over is that when you change the hook size?
@susannamaharaj6407 yes. If the row one is too long you use a smaller hook. If it is too short you use a bigger hook.
I love this color and yarn. I can't find the exact color. Is it wool ease? Something else?
This is charisma yarn by lion brand. I lost the label but i believe it is blush pink. I need to go back to the store and color match.
