      @@JonnaMartinezCrochet ur welcome. I’m gonna try it. I really want to make easy scarfs and fast even for a beginner. I’d like to bring them to my oncologist office for people just starting chemo. Last year it was me. This time last year I was getting ready for a double mastectomy. All glory to God I’m healed. Jesus and Our Blessed Mother didn’t let me down. I’m blessed! I made mine last year putting a lot of different stitches together but it worked. Do you have one to share here?

      Hi. I am teaching a friend to crochet and we've made a cowl using two strands of Caron simply soft (aran) and a 9mm hook. As we have some yarn left over, I was wondering if we could use the same to make this hat. What do you think?

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  8 місяців тому

      @janematthews8405 yes! But you might want to use 3 strands. Use the tape measure and check your sizing as you go. Thanks for watching!

    Wow, amazing, I don't know how to crochet and admire your beautiful work. We used to learn to crochet in middle school in S. Korea but my personality cannot make a good one. I always do it too tight and the final project was gloves and mine came out a child's very tight gloves so my mom did it for me in a few hours. Otherwise I would have failed it. After that I never tried. 😁😅

    When it says “repeat row 3&4 until you have 41 rows of 21 inches (53cm)” do I do the same thing that we did again and again or just do a slip stich?

    • @dawns1017
      @dawns1017 18 днів тому +1

      Repeat rows 3 and 4 means repeat all of Row 3 (slips stitch in first 3 stitches back loop only , single crochet back loop only in the next 3, half double crochet back loop only the remaining stitches)
      Then
      Row 4 ( slip stitch in back loop only every stitch)
      Alternate between row 3 and 4 until you have 41 rows ( or 21 inches)

      Hi Rachel! Welcome to my channel. There definitely will be a scarf and a mittens pattern to match added soon. Thank you so much for asking. It helps keep me motivated to know what people want to see next.

    I love this hat! I just started making it yesterday. I am a beginner. Should each row have 29 stitches? My stitches are decreasing

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  Рік тому

      Yes. Be sure to try using two stitch markers, put them in the first st of each row, move them up as you go.
      Thank you for watching!

    Many thanks for your detailed instructions. I only could not see the length of the measuring tape as the subscribe message was obtructing it. Is it 15 inches?
    Thanks in advance for your reply.
