6-speed transmission in Ford F-150 2015-2020 (6R80): Problems and myths

In this short video, I want to tell you a little about the problems with the 6-speed automatic transmission that Ford F-150 used in the 13th generation, in the first years.
This is a simple conventional automatic transmission with optimal specs for this vehicle. It was also used in the Mustang and many other Ford and even Lincoln cars. But in the F-150, Ford sold probably over a million of these gearboxes.
So, the 6R80 is widely seen as one of the best automatic transmissions in the 21st century in Ford vehicles. And a lot of its common problems are just myths. The only serious issue is that the transmission contaminates the fluid really fast.
