I was watching a german plastic surgeon on UA-cam and was shocked that he was SHAMING female celebrities about their looks and using HIS BEAUTY standards to judged people. @@justanotherman_ The life of the active growth phase in body hair is a few months as opposed to a few years in head hair.
      However the lifespan of the folical is no different. Just means body hair doesn't grow as long.

    Is it possible to do a reverse transplant, meaning take the thinning hair and implant it in the donor area and put the donor hair up front in the thinning area. Basically, swap the hairs around. I wonder if the thinning hair would start to grow thicker in the back to save the donor area from ever being over harvested

    • @DanielBlaney
      @DanielBlaney Місяць тому

      its not the location of the follicles that causes them to become thin. Its the follicles themselves. Transplanted follicles will react to dht the same way they did before they were transplanted. That's one of the reasons why hairline lowering is not recommended as the non transplanted hairs around it will continue to recede while the transplanted ones will stay.

    Are there really plenty of women who are attracted to men without hair, OR are they attracted to the guy despite his lack of hair? Meaning: If that same guy had hair, she would be even more attracted to the guy? Because evolutionary it makes sense that we would be attracted to people WITH hair, because its an indicator of youth, fertility, health, and it protects your scalp from the elements. Thats my thinking.

      I think over 50, it is so common and normal for men to have thinning, balding, greying hair that there isn't nearly as much pressure for men to correct that issue since you look normal relative to your peers. But being bald in your 20s and 30s does cause you to stick out in a way you may not like if you want to look like you did as a teenager (or before you lost your hair). Just my 2 cents!

    • @patrickj1066

      It's too late for significant regrowth and at that age the mpb is likely completed, but you can optionally get on fin. The only solution to really get hair again is a transplant though.
