The producers made the right choice taking their time to introduce more characters. Imagine having both Celebrimbor and Celeborn these 2 seasons. Audiences would get congused as to who is Galadriel married to. There is enough time to have a time skip and Galadriel to re-gind her husband and have a daughter.

If this was in the lore, and we didn't already start the "Fall of Numenor" plotline 1500 years earlier, then Celebrian could be old enough to become Elrond's wife in the early Third Age. The only way to make it work now is to have Celebrian already be alive with Galdriel not mentioning her prior (which IMO is the most likely explanation).
you have to give them some credit tho.... this show reaches levels of cringe i have problems to fathom! i haven`t watched a single episode of both seasons but the bits i saw were so horrendously stupid that you want to cry and laugh at the same time... that it wouldn`t be faithfull to anything tolkien wrote was given from the start, but Boy OH Boy never had i thought they were coming this hard down! basically it`s a really bad written soap opera with too much money

Do you have any clue how much power that river would have with the size it is? If it the river was dammed, then where tf did all the water go upstream? You think it just stays in place and nothing happens to it like the show runners? Also, if you looked at all their shots of Eregion, you'd see the river is about half a mile wide, which makes the chance of this happening even more impossible. Did you see how the mountains started falling over? That made absolutely no sense, the mountains were falling in the wrong directions and to think that some super small rocks thrown at mountains will make mountain collapse is laughably ridiculous.
@@scottporter4524 Sure, i do agree that those small rocks shouldnt have been able to knock over a mountain, but if you had a bit more knowledge on geophysics, a tsunami like wave would be launched in both directions as a result of the impact of the rocks, pushing a lot of water downstream and upstream, it would take a long time for the river to flow over after such an event. It is not even guaranteed, however, that it would. The water could flow in other directions and a resevoir lake could establish itself. These things depend on a lot of different environmental factors, and to just call it bad writing and conclusively impossible or improbable, i think we should stick to the facts. It is unlikely to flow over within the span of this battle, thus the portrayed scenario is far from improbable.

Very unlikely Arondir is dead. They didn't spend any time at all on his supposed "death". Asian elf lady and Mirdania had way more development, and they actually focused on their deaths and put emphasis on them when it happened, and we knew these characters FAR LESS than Arondir. Arondir just got stabbed and it immediately moved on, that's how we know he's alive.
@@jrconway3 hmm maybe they use this to put his character on pause. i mean his storyline died offscreen with bronwyn and the Theo storyline died with the sword mc guffin being nothing more than a pysical key, but because its rings of power writing they will still make him the king of his people and become a nazgul and Arondir is the one who will kill him. i mean they can make a lookout for mc guffin dream team storyline with elrond , arondir and galadriel in season 3, but 2 of those unlikeble stoic chars in on team teleporting around middle-earth would be beyond bad writing^^
