My 2019 svho it's doing similar things after a few mods and a Riva stage 1 plus tune I'm only getting 2 lb of boost it won't pass 65 mph it seems like at the very high RPM . It feels like the throttle goes blank at the 3/4 of the way like nothing is responding. No boost leaks. Going to check it tomorrow. Awesome video.
@@SlayerHawkX intercooler hose to the throttle body partially slip off. Had to use T bolt clamps. Check for boost leak. Sounds like air is scaping and can be heard under throttle.
@@codjunky8865 my hose came completely off aswell. Lmao...hose clamp may have some issues...rides like a dream now...so my hose had to be coming off all summer long..i had throttle problems all year

How many hrs can the clutch last, my GP 1800 has 138hrs still running good but I’m wondering if I should do it soon or just wait till it goes out? Thanks.
To many factors most stock machines last awile. When you mod it is when it can happen any time it all has to do with mod setup and driving habits. As long as you maintaining power I'd leave it alone my friend has over 200hours on his machine with stock original clutch on a modded machine.
Any chance you can load the Part 2 to Vimeo, or another platform? I am in need of doing this to my machine, and would feel better if I had the 2nd part of the video. Is it simply just replacing everything in reverse order, or is there something else needing to be known?
What causes these to burn up so easy? Just the clutch like a kid learning to drive a manual and wears it down? I’m hearing 100 hrs between replacement if you take care of these.
Ahhhh have to change mine now. 45hr on stage 2 8600 tune and then to 50hr on stage 3 gen 2 20lb sc wheel 9500 ripdownnnnnn tune. Finally went at 50hr and lot of riding in lake michegan chop hammering down, lot of riding with gf on back again hammering down (world class double riding) gps'd over 70 in 4ft chop days a few times . I almost went over 80mph gps alone on a 4ft+ chop day when on stage 3 but back gave out . Would of been one of few in world to due so.
It is all a matter of riding style and if supercharger impeller is stock or not if you ride in rough water and like to go wide open it will wear faster
Normally you will loose 75% of power, and wont be able to rev past 5500RPM. Also, If you're able to spin the SuperCharger wheel both ways, that indicates clutch is bad. Needs replacing.
What was the torque spec for the oil pump bolts?

Awesome that you found it. I ended up replacing all the clamps with stainless T bolt...No more hoses popping..

Running in ruff water with machine in and out of the water kills them and wide open throttle and instant let off kills them.

Where do you have yours serviced? I just bought a couple Yamaha's and looking for a good shop, for future.
How many hours are you getting out of a clutch with Yamalube? Would you recommend a BOV on a stock machine?
