RAGE QUIT it’s is not boring as such. It’s just a naked bike so lots of wind, seat isn’t the most comfortable, all the power delivery is in lower gears/rev range

RAGE QUIT not sure what 95cv is but the Z900 is more comparable to the MT09. More power in the Z900/MT09
Great video buddy... i like my 07 and arnt getting bored yet... as for long journeys, thats where i shine... it can do it noproblem just needs a screen for thewind thats all
Saying that I went for a long ride today to pick up a service kit for my MT, wasn't too bad comfort wise but as you say, a nice screen would sort the wind issue out for me.

Try shifting when the wheels up mate, you’ll find it a lot easier to sit up there in a lower gear, don’t use any clutch...so just keep pressure on the lever and blip the throttle off when you want to shift and it will slip in really fast. Most bikes I’ve ridden I pop up with clutch in second and then shift into third on the way up so you catch the balance point in third, if you’re too far in front of the balance point and run out of revs shift into fourth and keep going. The shift on the way up is the important bit, when that’s mastered you’ll find it a lot easier to practice catching the balance point in a less jerky gear. Hope that helps man, good work. 🤙😎

No point damaging other people's property, will only put other riders at risk when that car driver doesn't see someone because they have no mirrors.
I understand the opinion, even if it was a joke but if I'm still upright and riding it's not an issue to me.
Maybe if they were a dick about it I'd probably think about it 😂 but 99% of the time if they are respectful or there isn't really an issue I just get on with my day.

Reevy thank you mate just wasn’t sure on the technicalities of restricting etc. I’m going to do my CBT when I’m 17 because it lasts 2 years meaning when the cbt is running out I’ll be 19 so I can go for my a2. I’ll definitely be looking into this bike for sure. Looks a beast.

I got bored of my 07 cuz I was riding it every day for nearly 3 years. The sort of bike it is fits me so well so I'm definitely going to test ride a new one to make up my mind. But the shitty build quality I had with mine does put me off
Yeah they do feel a bit cheap in some places and a bit meh but they're budget bikes tbh can see why people do end up bored and getting put off but I think since it's my first big bike I just put up with the problems just because it is a really fun bike. I reckon I'd feel the same after a few years, probably get bored and want to upgrade but at the same time, I would feel sad deep down as I'd never want to get rid of it just because of how great it is to me.

Owning my mt07 just about when you got yours reevy, ngl the top speed gets kind of boring but the wheelies and just practicing on it before getting my A license i find it awesome
I swapped the seats and i can ride it for hours for me it's the perfect bike and with a few adjustments like ecu flash and a comfort seat it is a bike I'll keep for long years to come
Yeah that's true tbh, few little tweaks and this bike is perfect! (just kinda wish the fuel tank was a tad bigger lol)

Currently am on a MT-03 2020, i was planning to buy lots of accessories, but then i realized that i probably keep that for around 1-2 years and then go to the newest MT-07, in order to have enough power for everyday use, commute and occasionally touring with the right mods (a proper windshield, a minimal rear rack etc etc) what do you think? will the MT-07 suffice?
I've gone for 6-8 hour rides on my MT with no issue, I'd recommend a comfort seat though, does hurt after a couple hours.
Other than that I use my MT to commute, travel long distances and have fun :)
MT-07 would definite suffice imo

one last question, is it comfortable at 140kmh (86mph)? do you tuck in when speeding on a highway for eg? thanks again!

having "enough power" is a trap, isn't your 03 powerfull enough for everyday use ?

Why is there no lane lines on the road?
Because I’m out in the countryside, most the small roads around here don’t really have lines unless you’re on a busy main road. The roads without lines you’ll mostly find tractors and farmers going down them.

Im thinking exactly the same. MT07 for me.
Have an MT125 atm, is a great little bike, bought it new and haven't had any problems at all in just over a year. Do a good few miles a week commuting too.
The lack of guts is really grinding me down though. Spent good few years riding motorcross bikes as a teenager, last bike was a 2stroke kx250. So as you can imagine, the downgrade to the MT125 is harsh lol.
Got theory test out the way the other day, will be sorting DAS test in the new year.

I don't think I would ever get bored of the mt-07. The mt-09 is more built for the touring that's for sure.
