I think Siegfried has the most elegant fighting style of all character in SC. A well played Siegfried is fantastic to watch, like he's waltzing with his sword. Every move ends with a stance, and from there he swings the next, all attacks in a fluid succession. These videos didn't show much, but those who know his stances will know what I mean.
In English, his voice from Soul Edge/Soul Blade is the voice of Paul Phoenix from Tekken, in Soul Calibur 3, it’s the voice of Winston from Overwatch and in 4 and 5 it’s the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Nightmare in 3, and 4 is a suit of armor that was possessed by the spirit of Soul Edge after Siegfried locked the Soul Calibur and the Soul Edge in a Soul Embrace, nullifying their power. In 5 the Nightmare we see is actually Graf Dumas, who is probably Raphael. Siegfried and Nightmare have only really been the same person in 3 out of the 7 games, SC1, SC2, and SC6, and they've been separated from SE/SB, SC3, SC4, and SC5

In SC5 that's a different different Inferno aka Nightmare because the original died by Siegfried's hands in 4. And thus a remain peice of soul edge dwells in Raphael body and became a new and political Nightmare that focus on starting wars to feed his hunger for Souls.
In SoulCal 4 he really came into his own, in Soulcal 5 he was refined to be more combo-centric and have more options. Soul Caliber 6 incarnation is looking the best so far, what with a soul wave counter and fast stance pokes this game is what I've been waiting to enter into the Evo Championships with. Time for me to finally break out into the spotlight, wish me luck fellow gamers, I'll be at the 2019 Evo.

Soul Caliber VI has impressed the hell out of me. The art direction hasn't been so on point since SC2 imo. This is definitely a return to form for the series. Love the little detail of the right side of Siegfried's armor starting to tint blue with corruption along with his bandaged hand.

Siegfried is my main, I use a lot of combo moves, I grapple very little with him, funny enough, the name Siegfried means Peaceful Victory, I know in the character archive his character birth place has a German sounding name, but it's actually close to Sweden because of Hilde's birth place, though artwork of Siegfried shows him fighting a dragon, so they could have based him from the German myth of Siegfried the Dragon Slayer.

I disagree. They may seem similar at first, to those whose only technique is hitting A+A+A+A+A... as fast as they can. But learn some of his moves and you'll realize that his defining stlye is stances, something Nightmare doesn't have.
The Sieg in SC6 is the most balanced on my opinion he has almost all the move he need much better than sc5 only missing 22B 66B from Sc4 But its Still hard to win against fast character like Groh and Sophitia And the most difficult versus is against Ivy she can take him on distance and have advantage in range move. A good Ivy is almost impossible to defeat its like 5-1 barely

Looking at the character story list for SC6, it looks like he’ll become Nightmare, get defeated by Kilik and Xianghua, revert back to Siegfried for a bit, and then turn back into Nightmare like he did in SC2.

Shea McGladdery it’s probably just because it’s very archaic. I ply it for the first time earlier this year, and I personally loved it. It’s old, and I think that’s why people can’t get into it as much as the rest, but it’s very fun.
Soul Edge/Blade is still my favourite of them all. Sure it might look old right now, but back then it had amazing graphics and the Edge Master mode was simply brilliant. Plus the fact all characters had two endings was great depending on if you hit the "right" key during the cutscene. I hoped 6 would be a remake on Soul Blade instead of Soul Calibur, but ah well... maybe one day....
Whoever is playing at Siegfried you are absolutely horrible and the only reason why Siegfried & Soul Calibur sounds like Link in Soul Calibur 2 is because they were played by the same voice actor

Each character has both a good and bad ending. The one in the video is the good ending, the one you described is the bad ending.

Yeah... I think the character designers forgot to age his face to suit that epic stubble.
His armor in SC6 is the worst yet. He looks like a metal barrel in it. In the games before his armor actually had a discernible, flattering shape.
I actually really like that armor. Only thing i don't like about it is the waistguard.
