I think they are extending it further too which would make the entire first day on boardwalk (other than the city suburbs which are never my favourite in any city). I don’t know how big the other cities are along the Way but hoping for not many more city walks. 😊
Thank you for your special videos. Informative and gentle commentary. I depart Adelaide, South Australia for Lisbon Monday 5 August. I plan to walk the Central Route. 10 - 20 ks daily is my 'pace yourself, stop n smell the Roses' way that I prefer to solo walk these beautiful, sacred paths. Not sure about the first leg out of Lisbon but one step at a time. I walked Camino Francis :Saint Jean Pied de Port - Santiago over August - mid October in 2022. My Caminos are for my husband Ronnie who passed 24/05/2020 and with whom I travelled much around Australia and beyond. We couldn't make it to Spain and Portugal where he wanted to go so I walk solo with him in my heart. Again, thank you for sharing your Caminos in such an enjoyable and informative way.
He’s the new record holder and he’s in this albergue too tonight. I had a quiet word with “the boss” and hes given me a bed at the far end of the albergue. I feel bad asking but not sure I could handle a second night. The video doesn’t give justice to how masterful he was at his craft 😂
@@NickLivingLife good on you for getting some distance from the great snorasaurus. I often wonder if they know how bad they are? I’d be mortified if I was doing it. Maybe purchase all the beds in the next place so he has to walk on 😂
Hi Nick, thanks for the lovely video & music. On a scooter??? You are really getting adventurous!! Hope you brought your noise cancelling ear plugs with you. 😂
@@sisters2santiago Hugs. 🤗. I’m not sure I’ll maintain the lace but it’s better doing it here than having lots to edit at the end I think (when my memory is getting it all mixed up 😂)
Worst caminho I’ve done so far 😢 it was like walking on highways and dodging drivers all the time. The towns/cities (Tomar, Coimbra etc) are worth seeing though.
Once outside the city, it looked really nice. Who doesn't love a good boardwalk. 🙂

What a beautiful way to honour Ronnie 😊❤️. Wishing you a very special Camino. xx
Bloody hell, that snoring must have shaken your bunk 😂. You've captured some lovely shots of Lisbon and coastal walk.

@Caminohacks spoiling myself to a private room tonight at €30. No earplugs for the night will be lovely. 😊
@@NickLivingLife pure snore free bliss, enjoy!
Great to see you back making new content, I needed a Nick fix!
Hey Bill 😊. I needed a Nick fix too 😂. It’s great to be back on a Way again. 😊😊

Haha. The earplugs appear to be the most important bit of equipment I have 😂😂
Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us..and so quickly!

Awsome Video Nick, It looks like such an amazing place :)
Thanks mate….and it’s getting better each day, the further I walk 😊😊
Be careful on the last 8kms stage Santarém > Golegã, the road is dangerous , the best thing is walk on the corn field . BOM CAMINHO
Thanks very much. You may have saved my life with this. Who knows. I really appreciate the advice. 😊😊
God bless the youtube algorithm !!
Wish I knew how it works mate. 😊

Lots of road I must agree. Less than Norte though so far. 😊
I’m tempted to add a Primitivo at the end 😊
