I loved this video, in particular the way you stress the importance of respecting an individual's Camino. No two people are the same, so no two Caminos will be the same. Your enthusiasm, recommendations and honesty about the tough parts made seriously interesting viewing. Thank you!
Congratulations Peregrino! What a wonderful achievement, and to share with your son. It amazes me what we can accomplish;when we’re brave enough to try. I did my second Camino this year at 69 years old. I was a bit nervous about it. I went slower when I needed to. It was great. I’m already thinking about it again. I wouldn’t be surprised if you do it again!
When I was struggling in the early stages, I talked with many other peregrinos who were on the second, third,, seventh caminos, and I thought "Oh, my gosh, there's no way I'm doing this again!" But now, after finishing, I'm thinking that I could absolutely see myself doing it again. I won't go so far as to say I definitely will - there are just too many parts of the world to see and only so much time left - but if given the chance (esp. if my wife wants to go), I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Love the video. Canadian nurse here, loved the honesty and great to see you do this
Thank you for charing your experience and journey!
