Hi Nick, watching your videos as your new friend Paul is my dad. It’s true, he is 70! It’s so nice to see the route he’s taking. The scenery is stunning. Thanks for sharing 🥾
I'm planning to walk the Camino Portuguese next spring, this being my first, your video provides a good insight into the journey. Looking at your equipment, I noticed that you did not mention the video camera you are using on your pole to film your walk. The quality appears to be excellent and I was curious to see what you used.
Hi. Exciting times ahead for you and I’m glad my video is helpful. 😊 The camera on the pole in an insta 360 X3. There is a new and better X4 available now. It’s a camera you don’t point as it films everything and then you choose what you want it to show later on when you use the app that goes with it. It doesn’t have the same quality as normal cameras you aim, but the advantage is that sometimes the best view is somewhere we were not aiming at so it means never missing a shot. 😊
The route from Lisbon is really coming into its own, looks stunning. I'd heard it wasn't the nicest of routes, but your video has shown how beautiful it is. Great to see you out on Camino and enjoying it, mate
Thanks mate. I’ve got about 4 days left until Porto so it probably changes a bit then. Busier for sure I’d expect…always nice to meet and add a few extra people to the Camino family though. 😊😊
@@NickLivingLife Wow, Porto is coming around quickly. Gotta love a Camino family, glad yours is growing. Keep up the great videos. I'm chomping at the bit for my Camino, 2 week count down.
@Caminohacks so am I reaching Santiago roughly as you are beginning yours? I’ve got no concept of how many days I have left on this stretch. I’ve had another idea this morning of walking the entire central route then going back to Porto to do litoral, coastal and espiritual after so I’ve seen it all. Can’t make my mind up at all. 😂😂
@@NickLivingLife I start walking June 16th, so yeah you finishing from Porto around that time I think. If you have the time, why the hell not! There are some lovely places along the central, plus a MUST STAY albergue in Casa De Fernanda around day 3 (you need to book as there are only 10 beds). Then, you get to live it all again from Porto! You'll be one happy pilgrim come the end of that trip, mate.

Fantastic! He’s a great guy and I couldn’t even catch him up today …he must have a turbo fitted 😊😊
