@@Scratch3DPrinting It was limited to the first 5000 printers or some such. It does however get delivered separately. So it may still turn up. The mystery box came with the printer.
Mine would need CONSTANT ADJUSTMENT to the z axis. Ranging from -.20 on one print right to .27 or more on the next. No auto leveling between. Needless to say it was immediately returned
I’m seeing so many mixed reviews about the Kobra 3 and ACE, NONE of which I saw PRIOR to purchasing it. I had heard dozens of good reviews, up until the moment I bought it lol. WHYYYYY?!?! They suckered me in with the idea of adding a secondary ACE to be able to print up to 8 colors at a time and I had no idea of the amount of WASTE that would result in. I’m ashamed, I did NOT do my research correctly lol. 😅😅😅
I found mine wouldn't print properly out of the box without a .07 z-axis offset profile in the slicer. Right out of the box it was smearing its layers after leveling, eventually, I'll try manually adjusting it but for now, I just have to remember to pick the right profile every time.

could you do a video on how to make it print something in a couple of colors, doesn't seem to be any out there on how to actually do this, do you use the app or slicer on a PC to do this
Sure I'll find the time to make a video on how to print multi color on the Kobra 3. You can use their Anycubic Slicer Next on PC and paint the part that you want to print in the color that you want.
❓Q: ❓in this printer, when it prints in multicolor, does it do 1 color at a time per layer? I was thinking of adding 1-2 color only on some layers and starting and ending with different colors to reduce pooping. ie. in minies having a green grass base, but not having any other greens.
Yes it does print the color by layers, like yours if you only have a green base and no other color within those layers then it will print that color until it needs to change to another color. Hope that makes sense if not let me know.
That second unused 4 pin plug on the back of the AMS is where the second AMS unit plugs in im betting, it probably works like a piggy back kinda thing and would use the same 4 to 6 pin cable to go from AMS to AMS. Sound right? Lol

Would be good to see a review of the other features from the K3. Like the wi-fi, mobile app, etc. Also, I believe it is possible to setuo a webcam to monitor the prints, right? Would be good to see that in action.
Yes more I'm going to cover more things about the Kobra 3, just didn't want to put in 1 video, it would be hours lol. Anycubic does have a camera for the Kobra 3, but I didn't get it.
Ahh, I didn't think about the. But I think if that's the problem, it could have cause more filament mistakes other than just that one layer, but it's something to think about.

I purchased this printer and I am not liking the results(.) This printer consistently has failed prints. It shits (wastes) too much plastic. And now it clogged the printhead and now it's useless. Yes China is gonna send me a new printhead, but three weeks to a month to receive from China. boo hoo. YES THIS PRINTER SUCKS THE BIG ONE.
ahh man, that sucks, mine has been printing really nicely and consistently with no problems. I hope that new print head will makes your Kobra 3 better.

Congrats on your Kobra 3. I have seen people make the second ACE work and do 8 colors. Yeah lots of waste but still a good 3d printer overall.
Which printer would you choose? Bambu lab a1 combo or kobra 3 combo?
I think both of those 3d printers are grate, I don't have the a1 so I cannot say which one is better.

I had to constantly adjust mine. For the price, it wasn’t worth the headache. Sent it back

I am trying to figure this out too. There's not much information on this yet. I will let you guys know once I figure it out.
Can you share the multi-color settings for the kobra3 combo Anycubic Slicer? It fails because color bleeding continues.
I just use the default settings for color changing, but I will try to make a profile and share it.

Presliced files won't know what colour each object is. You need to purge more filament going from dark to light colours.
