@@casio007 It will be the exact amount of purge no matter the colors and layers from one object to many. It is how it works. The printer won't purge more because you have more models.
I was in that boat 2 months ago. Chose Kobra 3 for few reasons. More open Ace pro is also dryer And can connect two ace pros for 8 colors. So far I have no regrets... Have x1c at work, had more issues with that then Kobra 3.
Anycubic's engineering department must be staffed entirely by tiny woodland pixies, because no part of this build felt like it was designed for human sized hands.
Great video. I'd love to hear your opinion on which one you think is a better buy between the Bambu Labs A1with AMS and the Anycubic Kobra 3 COMBO for someone who is thinking about starting with 3D printing as a hobby. Since you have done reviews on both printers, I would think that you might lean towards one more than the other. They look pretty much the same to me so I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks for sharing.
Good video and good information I appreciate you. I wanted a larger version so I went with the Kobra 3 Max with 8 color setup and camera... Thay have a great pre-order sale going on here before Christmas... not bad it was a total $923.00 for the for mentioned above stuff... I am really looking forward to getting it... I do have an X1C now, had it for about a year now and it's been really good but they as of this comment, don't make a bigger version. Just saying...
New to this. If want to design belt buckle to print does the Slicer software allow me to design or do I have to have AutoCad or similar to make the design then import it to Slicer?
A1 combo has the AMS lite that is way worse than the ACE which is actually better then the more expensive AMS as it drys filament, has less waste, does not break the filament.
Thinking about getting a muilticolor printer like the a1 or a1 mini combos. Would this beat it? I don't like tinkering since I currently have a ender 3 pro
Another copycat, still don't think this multi colour method is at its peak, the amount of waste is RIDICULOUS. More Bambu clones coming in 2025 most likely....
How do you want a bedslinger to look if it don’t look like bambu. They need a purge wiper and a nozzle wiper. Just because bambu has it dont mean they copied them side by side cause I’d like to see you design one without it “looking like a bambu clone” and it dont

Fun Fact: if you print multiple color prints, as in six as opposed to just one, the printer will use the exact same amount of purge as doing just one.
obvious. It depends on layers and colours not objects.
@casio007 it's still a useful tip for those who may be new to printing

The one time quantity overshadows quality by a longshot 😂
Just ordered mine
Love your videos, very detailed and helpful!
Hah, I installed the spindle on my spool holder backwards too at first. Thanks for confirming the right direction
Another great detailed video Vlad, im sure ive seen a similar printer before 🤣
Great video. I think I would choose the Bambu Labs A1 with AMS but I can see why someone might choose this instead.

@@nekrosoft13do you use the stock slicer?
@@jared1321 I use the new stock slicer. I believe is called anycubic slicer next
@@nekrosoft13 nice did that fix much of the issues?
@@jared1321 is basically orca slicer, so yes. Is much better than old.

How can I adjust the print speed?

The Very detailed rewiev. Thx.
Elephant foot looks like big foot, no good.
Could this be any more identical to a Bambulabs A1 Combo? Wow. Even the manual is similar.

@@eaman11 I don’t really care about drying, I just want one that works 😂
Least it is a a different combo multi colour printer it means I don't have to have a Bambu version which is allot more pricey to buy than this one!

If you don't want to tinker, definitely get the A1 or A1 mini.
@@phamworks yeah thats what I thought. Waiting for a major sale at Microcenter or Bambulab, hopefully for black friday
But visually, someone must have been sleeping there for years, because it looks the way it looks ;-)
I'd rather choose a higher print speed than such a waste of multi-color functionality .
You don’t have to choose it can do 600mms plus you can use the ams for auto roll change of the same Color. There isn’t really much fast printing
I own this printer setup . It's the best outbof all the printers I've owned . And high quality and faster then older models
Don’t waste your money. 2 months in at the head has broken twice and the ace pro just went down.
I call refuge boogers

Less waste then spending hours sanding and painting. Plus you can always make bricks from the poop or other stuff
