Top notch video presentation Jason , well done! From beginning to end this held my interest, there is no particular segment that is 'better' than the next, each is wonderful in it's own. I wonder though, with over six thousand viewers at this point, why only three hundred and nine of us have taken the time to give him a thumbs up for this???
Ryan Porter Do your politicians want all shooters to become deaf, they always preached about health and safety when I lived there, hearing loss is part of that!
Love watching outdoors shows from other country's!!!! I'm from New York and today our spring Turkey season starts its 230am and I'm up getting ready!!!!
Fantastic Jason! I'm salivating! ;D I'm 67 and love eating rabbit and have never gotten tired of the taste. Used to do a trap line with my dad as soon as I was old enough and now get them with a rifle. Great program. Keep up the good work.
rabbit is definitely an under rated meat. i wish more people would eat it, save me of feeding them to my ferrets. butchers aren't that interested in them any more which is a great shame really. Great show as always
I agree. Rabbit is a nice tasty lean meat, just as good as chicken. It has many uses including rabbit pie, stews, and can even be oven roasted, grilled, or fried. Gutting a rabbit is simplicity itself. There are a few things you have to remember, and to look for, but otherwise no big deal. I have gutted many rabbits. Hare on the other hand is an altogether darker stronger tasting meat in comparison to rabbit. But gutting a hare is about as simple as a rabbit. It is just a tad bigger that's all. All you need is a sharp knife and a pair of hands, and somewhere to put the guts leftover after dressing the meat. The problem with rabbit, as with hare and pigeon, is that once it has been killed someone has to gut it and skin it. And there's the problem. Everyone has become accustomed to receiving their meat ready cut and packed for use. Most are squeamish about having to pull the innards out of an animal, strip off its fur, and prepare the meat for the pot. Strewth!! In times gone by some of the things eaten by humans would make peoples hair stand on end. In the early 1900's people were starving. Living off the land was not an option, it was a necessity. Today all we have are a load of snowflakes and land over run with pests and vermin.
Absolutely true, rabbit stew is delicious, there's a recipe on the BBC with the hairy bikers, hearty, tasty and excellent protein. Much better flavour than chicken.
What more could you want - Shooting, cooking and Rodello's Machine? A brilliant episode as ever......makes me want to move to Ireland! Nice to see a Somerset Hunters' hat - their reach is long indeed!!!
Again another brilliant show. Previous decade's of rabbit permissions literally just disappeared over a few short years. I've only got back rabbit shooting in the last 3/4 years, so now I try to balance conservation with pest control and luckly enough there seems to be a boost in numbers. You can't beat a bit of bunny bashing with the .22 be day or night. Try the wee lads marinated in butter milk then deep fried in flour or bread crumbs.
Fantastic show Jason. The grilled rabbit made me hungry so I had to try your recipe. Excellent thanks. Keep up the great shows. I have no doubt the ladies will be well looked after.
We get some Irish lads coming over to fly falcons with us up in North Yorkshire birds always fly well and English pointers spot on.and even been known to have a few drinks on a night for the crack.
Being an American, I love these British hunting shows because I did not know you folks did so much hunting as you do. However, we really don't need to watch you shoot a fox and then spend the next 10 minutes telling us all about it. We saw it the first time. A short version of what happened will suffice. Seriously, I just can't hardly wait to get to youtube to watch you guys hunt. Love your shows.
Hi Jason first things first another great video show casing ireland I don’t know your stance on sea fishing but With recent developments in Irish fishing laws Irish angling boats can now fish blue fin tuna On a tag and release project some boats have been selected I no Ewing boat charters have tags this would be biggest trophy fish in ireland and up there in Europe I think it would be great to see this on your show but just my idea you can see them on Ewing sea angling and boat charter Facebook page could be a show filler for you possible Thanks for your great shows Andy
We have a problem with foxes near our house.... I know the local farmer but unfortunately got no license or gun... can anyone help and get rid of the foxes?
I know foxes are a menace but I think you’re hard pressed to find s more beautiful mammal in Europe than a well fed dog Fox. I feel his pain though I missed one at 8 yards out stalking last week. It came in like a train wasn’t expecting it so close haha.
Fair play on the mention of the lead ban all 32 seconds of it. Just pop over to this website and this website to read about it Seriously😡 I was at a meeting in Oriel house hotel Cork last Tuesday night about this lead ban and it’s very serious guys. Fair play to the speakers who turned up on the night.
Top notch video presentation Jason , well done!

So glad to see the suppressors in use.. we cannot have them in Australia as our politicians have watched too many hollywood movies!
Ryan Porter Do your politicians want all shooters to become deaf, they always preached about health and safety when I lived there, hearing loss is part of that!
I feel sorry for u

Animal had a great life. Had a Chance. Killed instantly. And didn't even know about it. Perfect. All meat should be like this.
