Ok so just looked at JEEP Wrangler V6 Rubicon with auto trans, MSRP $69,590. Ah yeah that's a hard NO but if they drop it 35% like stated that brings it more in line with IMO its worth, $45,234
Nice.. so it looks like the website is updated.. Cool. Yep.. hoping pricing drops.. I think it's wishful thinking for 35%.. but that's the rumor. We'll see.
$45,000 for a Jeep is still fu*ked! This is how they train the sheep. Raise the prices to an absolute crazy level. Then drop them to make you feel you’re getting a hell of a deal, not realizing you’re still overpaying. Everyone get in line 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
You can not trust any dealer. The bottom line price needs to be the advertised price so dealers can’t play games. It will never happen. I dread taking my 21 GCL in for recall work.
The discounts are good start however the quality problem will take a while to fix, either way I will not buy any Stellantis overpriced crap from Carlos Tavares, I will keep my 2015 Charger Scat pack ($45K) till the bitter end, I haven't spent a dime on the engine/transmission other than tires, wheels and brakes. Most likely 2026 or 2027 Tim might bring good vehicles to the table, I myself been waiting for a Entry Level Ram TRX with the 392 V8 (I'm open for a new V8) under $55K, anything above $65K is unobtanium for me (most of us for that matter) here in California.
Sounds like a good plan. For sure.. the 2026's will be lower prices and the V8 is definitely coming back. Dodge already confirmed. It will definitely go into a Ram truck.
Have to account for some inflation, but for sure they need some drastic cuts. I'm hoping accross the board of 25%. Get a new Wrangler SportS 4 door for around 30K as well as a Gladiator Sport.
Good luck. So much speculation. I'm just reporting the rumors so nothing is in stone, but I have to believe there is going to be some drop in MSRP for the 2026 models. I'm not sure how that will affect 2025 builds.. but assuming those will drop at dealerships as well. Love the look of the 2 doors.
It’s not on the builder yet. I have a built 2020 JLUR and would like a green 2 door, 3.6 just to have a smaller vehicle to run for a few years and then give to my daughter when she turns 16
Yeah.. their website is always behind. I keep checking for it to show up. It's official though.. the press release confirms it. That 2 door is going to look awesome with that 41 paint.
I've been looking for a new Wrangler 4-door for several months. I've never owned one. I finally found a new 2024 S model 4 door, 6cyl, auto trans. MSRP $48,155. After some negotiating, I got them down to $39,000 OTD. I haven't bought it yet.....But is this a good deal?
Wow.. they are wheeling and dealing. No wonder inventories are clearing out. I'm assuming this doesn't include sales tax.. but even so.. sounds like a great deal to me. That has to be well below invoice. Good luck.
There is about 6,000 increase on the base model. I honestly think 35% would be impossible. But that's the rumor. I think if prices went down 20%.. that would be amazing.
Yeah.. just the UA-cam rumor mill that i'm contributing too. We'll see. Hadn't heard about the delay on the V6 auto's. Hopefully they show up earlier than that.. but i'd just order one.
it will be 50% Jeep is not in trouble, administration is in crisis and will reduce the CEO salary by 80% and make changes to include 50% off ALL JEEPS!
They probably talked about gradually dropping msrp in a meeting and it gets to UA-cam as 35% in 3 months. Any msrp drop would have to be done at the new model year, right? Can you imagine the irate customers who paid 35% more because they bought a week earlier ! Jeep CEO would have to go into hiding !
The rumor is 35%. I really won't believe it till I see it.. but that's what multiple insider folks are saying. Stellantis was making more profit on every vehicle sale than any other manufacturer.. so we'll see.
Yeah.. I really like the 4xe drivetrain. It's super potent, and a lot of fun, but there has just been so many recalls on it. I just can't honestly recommend it. In regards to the diesel, they had lots of issues with that as well. I'd also stay clear of it, but when I test drove it.. I really like that too. I don't think you can go wrong with either the turbo or the tried and true penestar. Good luck.
Hey…picking my 4xe up in the morning. 2nd recall done and check engine issue fixed. Been at the dealer for a week. Thank goodness they gave me a Hornet R/T for a loaner😂….3 payments left on the lease. No way I’d ever consider another one. No idea what’s next. Especially at these $. Merry Christmas, Everyone 🎄🎁
The ICE supply chain shut downs and transition to EV factories means more expensive gasoline car costs around the world. MSRP for gasoline and diesel are only going to go up unless they drop all options and sell only rolling chassis- aim;t gonna happen.
Just starting the EV transition. There are plenty of opportunities for still building ICE automobiles. The U.S. is not even close to being ready for EV's in many parts of the country. Government should stop shoving these down our throats.
@ government should then stop shoving Oil down our throats forcing us to Subsidize the Oil industry for decades. Oil CEO’s and Corporations get free drilling subsidies, low lease deals, tax breaks no other industry gets, and free US Military escorts through dangerous areas. If all these subsidies to the oil industry went away gasoline would be over $12/gallon. Who is subsidizing who again?

Once the tariffs hit these vehicles will be back to today prices after the price drops. Then they will blame poor sales on the government.
