Yes, I am an Ex Muslim Atheist too and while I disbelieve in God, I pray 5 times a day as a hypocrite (munafiq) as I desire to infiltrate the ranks of the Ummah the overthrow the Ottoman Caliph the way Mustafa Kamal AttaTurk (a hypocrite/munafiq) did.
@@elizabethbello3746 Islam's primary sources Quran and Hadith advocate taqiya or lying, but we Atheists also believe in lying when needed especially when we desire to infiltrate the ranks of the Islamic Ummah like the great Mustafa Kama AttaTurk did and ousted the Caliph of Islam. I am a Malaysian Ex Muslim Atheist and while I cannot openly leave Islam, I will continue to infiltrate the ranks of the ummah and oust it.
I'm confused as to why an ex-Muslim atheist would call himself Ibn Qayyim. As a student of Ibn Taymiyya he was basically a proto-Salafi decrying the perceived shirk and bid'ah in every cultural practice that strayed from what he thought the fist generations off Muslims believed.
To me, Ibn Qayyim represents the reflex of going inwards and backwards to find a supposed source of greatness, the long lost glory, when faced with the facts of a humiliating defeat by an enemy thought to be below oneself. In ibn Qayyim's time it was the Mongols, in recent history-relevant to Salafism-it was the western colonial powers.
To give the biggest possible benefit of the doubt, maybe he had that account since he was a Muslim and didn't know how to change it. He seems to have either been banned on Harris's channel or Armins to have to use another account. Anyway sad to say I have come across a few ex Muslims that were still apologists for Islam. I think they feel like if they defend Islam they won't get executed for apostasy.

Honestly, even though Harris Sultan made clear he wasn’t talking about all Muslims and that not all Muslims want to kill, I can understand why that Ibn Qayiim guy was alarmed because Harris’s words can still easily be seen as pushing a dangerous “us vs them” mentality, ie “non-Muslim Indians vs Indian Muslims”. Maybe Harris could have made his language more inclusive and less prone to be perceived as targeting one specific group?

When people talk about reconciling science and religion, that is only an issue with people who have preconceived ideas, but scientists cannot/should-not have preconce ived ideas they must believe the evidence. Many people who convert to Islam or revert back to Christianity is because religious organizations provide a sense of community, comradely, fellowship and a sense of belonging. These powerful emotional needs are fulfilled, even if religions are not historically and scientifically accurate or just myths. "ignorance is a bliss" Matr ix-quote.

It’s non-intuitive to understand that all this complexity is just natural and no intervention of any being is required, it’s much much simpler and easier for humans t o believe that some being did it magically, especially when we are indoctrinated to believe from a very early age by our parents, teachers, leaders, elders practicall y everyone.
