Journalist Avijah Scarbrough discovers why there has been a recent interest among young Iranians in this religion you may have not heard of, but most likely you've been influenced by. Famous Zoroastrians include rock icon Freddy Mercury from Queen.

Islam will not live longer, every devil meets destruction and so Islam will.
The dhimmi system was responsible for all this.
After all, Zarathurustra (Zoroaster, what westerns call), did all was invert the system, beyond the indus, Asuras were good and Devas were evil, in dharma it was quite opposite...the fact is madyasana(zoroastrianism) has many dharmic gods in its rituals and practises, it's weird why abrahamics try to call it a monotheistic, it was very clearly Polytheistic...

same thing Islam did to hindus in India
I'm a Hindustani Zoroastrian from India. Both my parents were Zoroastrian, so I was born into the faith & chose the faith because it is Good & Sound. It makes perfect sense to me, & I feel proud to be a Zoroastrian. That said, I don't believe in conversion!! When you convert some1, you do so because yours is better than theirs - And that in it self is wrong!! I prefer my faith to Christianity & Islam, but I know many Christians & Muslims who would disagree & argue that theirs is better - because they are the prominent & largest of all religious faiths. To them I say Zoroastrians focus on quality over quantity so although only a few, we are pure & going strong. Zoroastrian Parsis have also been respectful of allll religious faiths, and have even adopted some Hindu customs into our prayer rituals, because they comfort and suit us, and converting or coursing others is NOT something we practice as a rule. We don't preach our religion to be better, we simply believe it to be good - If practiced properly, because Good Thoughts, Good Words & Good Deeds is a part of EVERY religious teaching, but PROMINANT in Zoroastrianism. I guarantee you, that the only reason we have survived without combat & conflict allll the years, after we escaped Mughal invasion in Iran, and why Iranians are able to practice Zoroastrianism today is because we don't push conversion or compete with other faiths. It saddens me when people do, because that will in fact create problems & conflicts, as we see amongst Christians, Muslims Jews for centuries. Other faiths who use this "better than" or invite/convert others at random, create problems and bitterness, & might want to consider this. PeacePlease!!

The Revivial of the Persian culture is the goodness the world needs...

Namo Ahura Mazda!
According to an article on the World History website*, the Persian prophet Zoroaster lived sometime 1,500 and 1,000 B.C. At that time, the prominent religion of Persia was known as Mazdayasna or Mazdaism (devotion to Mazda) regarded Ahura Mazda as the greatest of a pantheon of gods and taught that life is a struggle between the forces of light and goodness and those of darkness and evil.
Zoroaster claimed to have received a revelation that Ahura Mazda was the creator and sustainer of all things and should, therefore, be worshiped exclusively.
If I understand the dates correctly, the doctrines of Zoroaster were opposed by the Persian polytheists until Zoroastrianism became the official religion of the Persian Empire sometime after the Babylonian captivity of the southern kingdom of Judah in 597 B.C.
In 539 B.C. the Persians conquered Babylon, thus ending the Babylonian Empire. About 537, The Persian king, Cyrus, gave the Hebrews permission to return to Judea. (See Ezra 1:1-4.) About 518 B.C. the Persian king, Darius, again issued a decree giving Hebrews permission to return to Judea. (See Ezra 6:1-12.)
It seems that it wasn’t until 457, B.C. (some say 458) when the Persian king, Artaxerxes, not only decreed that the Hebrews could return to Judea but provided the financial wherewithal to rebuild the temple and reinstitute its services. (See Ezra 7:11-28.)
This raises an interesting question: To what extent did the religion of the Hebrews influence the religion of the Persons and/or to what extent did the religion of the Persians influence the religion of the Hebrews?
Zoroastrianism continued to be the official state religion of Persia until the Muslim/Arab invasion of 651 A.D.
Zoroastrianism rests of five basic principles:
The supreme god is Ahura Mazda.
Ahura Mazda is all good.
His eternal opponent, Angra Mainyu, is all evil.
Goodness is apparent through good thoughts, good words and good deeds.
Each individual has free will to choose between good and evil.
“The central value of the faith was human free will. If one followed the precepts of Ahura Mazda, one lived a fulfilling life; if not, one became tangled in deceit and experienced strife and confusion. Starting with the Five Principles as the basis for one's decision, one was then to express one's faith through the fourth one - goodness is apparent through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds - and one practiced this through:
Telling the truth at all times - especially keeping promises
Practicing charity to all - especially those less fortunate
Showing love for others - even if they did not return the sentiment
Moderation in all things - especially in diet.”
If your religion is personal, how do your personal beliefs compare with those listed above?
If your religion is institutional, how do the doctrines of your religion compare with those listed above?

it really great to see this resurgence!! 👏👏 Many heritage and cultures was systematically and cruelly wiped out by the abrahamic faiths.
Hinduism annihilated Jainism & Buddhism, dare deny?
@@mtcemngr5292 who told you that? Jainism and Buddhism are still flourishing in India. What about abrahamic religions atrocities in all of the ancient, medieval history and modern history?.

Remember Cyrus the great, true student of Zoroaster.
Cyrus was altogether different from present fire worshipping parsees, he was man of Almighty, bekrvod friend of Jews.

There’s no evidence that Cyrus was a Zoroastrian. He literally praised Mesopotamian gods, like Marduk. Not Ahuramezda.

Hope Persia will realise the greatness of their ancient civilization and realise that they had a fantastic god concepts second to none and it wasn't dark then. Hope Persians will break the chain and discard the skewed concepts imposed by their conquerors
Most people just don’t care and are not much into religion. Zoroastrianism will never be revived.
Wow made me quite emotional , I can’t explain the happiness! Ushta te~
Wonderful to hear!

It's good to see the young citizens following the ancient relgion, rather than convert to Christianity. 😊
Persia searching its roots! Good news.Agni, the fire, is great!
so glad to see iranians celebrating their heritage and faith, be aware of the freaky crusading protestant evanglicals however, looking for converts among the disgruntled of those leaving islam.
We want Indian muslim to get educated and follow any religion or no religion but leave Islam .
You will leave your fake stick and stone religion but we won't leave ours.
The only thing u need it is to give them a quran and make them to read the translation
Great piece! Thank you for sharing
Very happy to hear that the oldest religion is in resurgence
Zorastrians are a very cultured lot.for trade and out of fear of persecution many zorastrulian communities migrated to Indian cities where they rebuilt their lives in peace and earned respect and influence in the country. No one knows exactly when they came over. Most probably in the late 8 th century.. In India they were known as Parsee derived from Persia. Some of the wealthiest families of India are Parsees. They are highly educated and also.philanthropic.
Best wishes from India. May Parsi brothers, Sisters recreate the ancient and mighty Persian empire. I.e samrat Darayuhu / Emperor Darius, Glory to him.
*_I have always wondered as to WHY there has never been a DOCUMENTARY-FILM made of the exodus of Zoroastrian Persians to India - in order to escape ISLAMOFASCISM ... one of the most fascinating & momentous Exodus-Watersheds in all of Human-History - which has never been comprehensively & meticulously documented....passing strange....._*
Thank you for this video! Americans are unaware of Zoroastrianism. Those who have heard of it typically believe the slander that they are primitive “fire worshippers”. I acquired translations of The Avesta along with other texts and learned about The Religion of Light many years ago. It changed my life. Zoroastrians have earned their good reputations for honesty and many other good qualities. It is a character building faith ithat stands in contrast to our era of social disintegration.
In your video I was surprised to lear about the resurgence of converts! I did not know that it was possible for outsiders to formally convert to Zoroastrianism.
I am an American. I have practiced Zoroastrianism for over 40 years! It has been the single biggest contributing factor of my enjoyment of a life I describe as; "serenely content".
Not as much as conversions as reversion. People of Iranic origin donot convert to the Din-e-Mazdayasni as much as they revert back to it. Because that was their faith of their forefathers. However people of non Iranic origins also do join the religion and in that respect you can say that is conversion. But IMO it is more important to have reversions. But conversions are allowed.
The scriptures say formal conversion is part of the religion in Denkard 4, 5 and there was a process detailed in Denkard 4 involving making converts study materials. Whereas in the Herbedestan there is a passage mentioning restrictions formal converts are made to follow.
Infact Zoroastrians are thought to have invented formal conversion.
The remnants of Persian royalty continued it in China after they ran there but it was seen as a hostile act later on and they were persecuted out of existence.
Old Persians are lovely 🥰 people 🙏🏻

In Uzbekistan we have been following Islam for more than 1,000 years. Zoroastrianism was the dominant religion before Islam here. Surprisingly we still have some traditions related to Zoroastrianism. In some parts of the country, the groom and bride round around the fire, that's obviously from Zoroastrian tradition. We have been keeping it for thousands of years. So I am really interested in it's traditions and ideologies
Last month, I saw an Iranian family opening a carpet store in Tokyo, and at the front wall of the store there is a big Faravahar symbol. Very impressive ✨
from 50 million to a few thousand? good job abdools
All better than Islam.
Indian Zoroastrian business empire Tata own Jaguar Land Rover, Tetley tea, 8'o clock coffee, Air India, Etc. Their business holdings are in few hundred billion dollars!!
Need to work hard to revive this religion.... good job
Zoorastrians will rise again in iran islam will fall down dont worry good things take time live long zoorastrians
Spiritual people want peace religious people want war ❤
This is so cool. Now I must revert to a Nordic pagan.
well... Zoroastrinism actually worships God (Ahura Mazda). Same as Christianity. The three wise men who visited Child Jesus were Persian Zoroastrians who came to see the Messiah and to Spread the good news of Messiah coming to Iranians. However, after Islam's invasion, they were killed or forced to convert.
@@Morkorio its nothing like christianity, there is no messiah in Zoroastrianism, its concept of good and evil is based on vedic religion and ahura mazda is similar to vishnu/varuna. Though later hindu religion moved away from the concept of good and evil and considered them as superficial with idea of brahman who is neutral, the plus point of zoroastrianism is that its not intolerant of other religion like abrahamic ones who condemn others to hell.

Christianity and Islam are not abrahamic .
They do not believe in the god of the jews .
Only christianity and islam are intolerent and need to convert you .
Judaism is not intolerant of other relegions .
Unless those relegions practise child sacrifice .
Judaism is not against conversian .
They just want the best people to convert .
Islam and Christianity are like a daycare where if you want to work their all you need to do is say i love children .
If a daycare excepts employees like this you will end up with pedophiles and serial killers .
Islam and Christianity are based on taking knowledge from judaism and twisting that knowledge to control a man his mind to the core .
It is not a suprise that to this day the jewish people fight for their ancestral homeland that is 20.000 km2 in area vs the christians and muslims that control millions of square kilometers and have not only killed the jews in their lands for 2000 years , but went on to kill millions of others wherever they went .
Relegions based on theft and dishonesty (Christianity and islam ) are always going to lead to evil , since they where corrupted from the start by their evil actions .
This rocks my world! BSC; "Build Sustainable Civilization". The Persians were masterclass! Wherever this philosophy fails, so too does society! Key, which ties all three "Kindness"!
America will fail when simple kindness is no longer valued as a virtue that binds the fabric of society. History is full of stories of whole civilizations that came into power thru rapacious force, violence, conquest, war. But then, eventually they all fail for the same reasons. Lack of kindness leads to lack of safety. Lack of trust leads to lack of security. Lack of cohesion leads to chaos. Lack of stability. . .and they all fall down. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Oh Hoorah! I am so happy for such a beautiful religion to be kept alive. I am so taken by its "Good thoughts, good words, good deeds". May it always increase and be present on this earth!
It is a shame that it is not the dominant religion in Iran, as it could be complemented by a democratic and secular system.
I admit that the figure of Zoroaster and his teachings have always seemed fascinating to me.
At least it’s peaceful then current religion
Nice comment on looking back at least 1400 years :) For those not familiar with the history, that's when the Muslims invaded Persia and inflicted Islam on the good people of what we call modern Iran. 60% of Iranians are non-religious and less than 10% support their Islamic government.
Consider yazidi, kalash faith also, large part of kurds were yazidis, long live Zoroastrianism and Kalash and Yazidis. They all were part of the beautiful land of Persia. Love your roots and get rid of Islamic terrorism.
