The funniest part about trying to expose Islam is that when you quote the hadiths they will immediately say: "The hadiths are not to be trusted because they have varying authenticity!" but do not give a proper criteria on how to determine which hadiths to believe. When you quote the quran they will say that it is because it is in english and only arabic is the acceptable way to say it. When you read the arabic it's the interpretation and the context that is missing... It's straight up cult mindset
The seven qirats of the Quran, which are recognized by Islamic scholarship, are named after their renowned reciters. They include, Naafi' al-Madani, Ibn Amr al-Basri, Abu Amr al-Basri, Ibn Kathir al-Makki, Abu Jafar al-Madani, Asim al-Kufi, and Hamzah al-Kufi. So, there are seven different types of Quran.

I've noticed they cherry pick the hadiths that sound nice and say the ones that are obviously batshit crazy are the unreliable ones. The bible usually confuses people (myself included) whenever it speaks in riddles or uses vague language or says something that doesn't make sense, and that's when priests are called in to aid someone but all the priests I've known usually encourage one's own interpretation. I notice that imams and islamic scholars get involved in "aiding" interpretation or claim a bad translation ONLY when the verse is very obviously calling for violence. Hilarious.

I Agree. He is so empathetic - honestly, he is approaching his scriptures from a loving point of view. I think this is a good man caught up in a system that is not good and he is struggling against it because in hes heart he sees a different kind of life and has higher expectatons of his religion. Taqiyya as you know it, is very prevalent in Islamic politics, especially in the modern era."..
The primary Quranic verse sanctioning deception with respect to non-Muslims states: "Let believers not take for friends and allies infidels instead of believers. Whoever does this shall have no relationship left with Allah - unless you but guard yourselves against them, taking precautions." (Quran 3:28, Quran 2:173, Quran 2:185, Quran 4:29, Quran 22:78 and 40:28.)..
Al-Tabari's (838-923 AD) in his Tafsir, or Quranic exegeses, is essentially a standard reference in the entire Muslim world. Regarding Quran 3:28, he wrote: "(If you Muslims are under their [infidels-authority, fearing for yourselves, behave loyally to them, with your tongue, while harbouring inner animosity for them... Allah has forbidden believers from being friendly or on intimate terms with the infidels in place of believers - except when infidels are above them in authority)
In such a scenario, let them act friendly towards them."

1- Kitman
Kitman comes from the Arabic word katama and means “to hide” or “to conceal”. There are eight different hadiths which, in slightly different versions, attribute the following saying to the prophet Muhammed:
kitman is the best policy to conceal, In this regard, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says in the hadith: “Seek fulfillment for things you want to finish in kitnam.” ).
He himself gave the best example of such a type in the early days of Islam. When the number of Muslims was still little,the community was still not dominant,there is a big need for concealment or secret call (kitman) so as to save the cause of da`wah (inviting people to Islam) from the fierce enemies. ..

Conjugates of the trilateral root of the word, w-r-y, appear in the Quran in the context of hiding or concealing something (5:31, 7:26)…
As a doctrine, "double-entendre" best describes tawriya's function. According to past and present Muslim scholars ..
tawriya is when a speaker says something that means one thing to the listener, though the speaker means something else, and his words technically support this alternate meaning…
All these tactics of are legitimate according to Sharia law and do not constitute "lying," which is is obviously the lies..
Sharia permits Muslims to lie freely, without the strictures of tawriya, that is, without the need for creativity…

Ms Plummeridge the rationale and sentiment behind your suggestion is commendable but I fear misguided: the disgraceful displays to which you refer are an abomination. The ringleaders of these marches - awful displays of naked aggression, antiSemitic hate and intimidation - DO know their support for Palestine is total window dressing for their real motives - they therefore heap the further venal act of hypocrisy upon themselves. You may say "the ringleaders aren't the masses". To an extent that is true - but to imagine that those persuaded to join the seething throng despite their many doubts - or even that they have been browbeaten into attending - I feel is to be unnecessarily generous. Furthermore, it presupposes that it is all one homogeneous thing - organized, like the conductor of an orchestra, into one, huge operation. I think much more likely that "the masses" consist of many smaller mini-Hitlers, already utterly entrenched in their festering beliefs which they have spent YEARS resentfully nurturing - HATING the fact they have a shit job, live in a dump (with their mother) and drive a fifteen year old Corsa - a surprisingly high (yet almost completely invisible) number also have TREMENDOUS internal battles with themselves over all sorts of things towards which their hearts, minds and bodies are drawn, which they are told they shouldn't want. Contrary to what you said, I think by and large "the masses" already know exactly what they're doing, even if we accept that some of the individuals may not be actively aware - only subliminally. I think, however, it's being far to lenient to assume that most (never mind all) are merely ignorant and that if only they could hear Harris's wisdom that would change their minds and that they would be miraculously experience Damascene conversions en masse.
Speaking as a ruddy great poof, I may say I realise the potential for my own hypocrisy and I acknowledge that while I am grateful for the rights, privileges and protections which lesbians and gays have won over the past six - most especially three - decades, I don't know where the limit lies albeit I freely admit I have serious doubts about the whole trans issue. Frankly, I've seen not just little, but nothing, that JK Rowling has written or said, with which I disagree. So when I see those stupid queens displaying their "Queers for Palestine" I nearly bring up a little bit of sick into my throat. I simply don't believe they're "ignorant" - they must be fully well aware of the ABYSMAL record Muslim majority countries have with the likes of us. So why do they do it? To hitch their extreme leftist, anti establishment, woke ideology to another, currently much bigger, cause. The insincerity, cynicism and opportunism is almost as grotesque as the rest of them (although as a sidenote, I harbour the delicious notion that I've got all that wrong and that, instead, it is a small collection of very clever, very naughty, highly provocative - and extremely brave - boys and girls whose support is a sham, but they do it KNOWING the Muslims will HAVE to tolerate them right up close and personal, as if to taunt and say "I dare you to slag me off - or try to chuck me off a building - even as I stand here shoulder to shoulder with you". In summary, regrettably the vast majority of these people are not open to persuasion simply since to be so would leave them in a position which, quite simply, is unaligned with their politics. The fact is, Islamists (even to an extent many Muslims) have long been taking the mile from the inch they were given. I am sure there are moderate imams cringeing at the spectacle, lamenting the risk of backlash against everything he has been building for all the right reasons for many of the previous decades. Yet even THEM I struggle to fully empathise with. At the moment, I have too little trust in nearly everyone who's Muslim because we have seen time and again how, simply because of the nature of that religion, how quickly even those who we might class as moderates, can splinter and degenerate into frothing fanatics. I am not advocating a wave of anti Islamic anything - I am just asking that we take a long hard look at the very great difference there is between the relative safety of a Muslim walking around in Central London - compared to a Jew. That is simply not something which a tolerant society like ours - should tolerate. And any backlash or heaven forfend - war - that breaks out between "Palestine supporters" and the British authorities, will not be the latter's fault. I hope this is a lesson that can quietly and gradually be understood - and that the changes can be made peaceably inside that community (because Harris with a loudhailer in Parliament Square won't do it)....

Wow, the most honest Muslim in the world. I thought they messed my life up when they made Arabic the official language of Sudan, but I am thankful to know Arabic. The internet will end Islam, they will regret the day they translated Quran into English.
They tried not to do the translation of the quran and hadith but there is no way forward again. In my environment we had to do ablution before we could touch the quran as children but now people are setting qurans on fire and nothing happens.

4-Duruna is a deceit through necessity to engage in something haram to exploit non Muslim.
5-Taysir deceit through facilitation , telling a revert that they can still do things they used to do until they are ready to follow all the rule of islam before reverting!!
6-Muruna is flexibility or temporary suspension of sharia making Muslim appear moderate until number are high enough to enforce sharia in kaffir’s lands..

1- Kitman
Kitman comes from the Arabic word katama and means “to hide” or “to conceal”. There are eight different hadiths which, in slightly different versions, attribute the following saying to the prophet Muhammed:
kitman is the best policy to conceal, In this regard, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says in the hadith: “Seek fulfillment for things you want to finish in kitnam.” ).
He himself gave the best example of such a type in the early days of Islam. When the number of Muslims was still little,the community was still not dominant,there is a big need for concealment or secret call (kitman) so as to save the cause of da`wah (inviting people to Islam) from the fierce enemies. ..

Conjugates of the trilateral root of the word, w-r-y, appear in the Quran in the context of hiding or concealing something (5:31, 7:26)…
As a doctrine, "double-entendre" best describes tawriya's function. According to past and present Muslim scholars ..
tawriya is when a speaker says something that means one thing to the listener, though the speaker means something else, and his words technically support this alternate meaning…
All these tactics of are legitimate according to Sharia law and do not constitute "lying," which is is obviously the lies..
Sharia permits Muslims to lie freely, without the strictures of tawriya, that is, without the need for creativity…

@@lok6314 Muslims have 2 main sources on which their religion is based, the Quran and a series of books known as the Sunnah, which within them is what is known as the Hadiths.
The Quran is the strangest book in human history and literally mentions Jesus more than Muhammad. When Muslims are confronted with the stories of those Hadiths, which bring to light the true face of Islam and Muhammad, many of them use the card of "I only accept the Quran"...
I give you this context so that now you can understand since your question seems very genuine to me....
When he told me "I'm just Quran," I asked him if it was true that Muhammad's first wife was called Petra (a name I made up) and he corrected me with the real name of Muhammad's first wife (Khadija)
But it turns out that the only woman that Allah mentions by name in the Quran is Mary, the mother of Jesus and therefore he corrected me with information that only exists in the books that he himself was denying.

@@lok6314 - His point was that, the only way a Muslim who claims he does not believe or rely on the hadiths can verify and confirm that the name of Mohammed's first wife was not Petra, but Khadija, was to go back to the Hadiths because that information cannot be found in the Quran.

I don't think people need to leave islam, but having the ability to thoughtfully and objectively criticise yourself and your community is extremely important.
And if it takes people like this, in the right positions, to start that process.... Then I'm very happy for them.
