Laughing at your teddy stories. I used to have a large calico cat. She was probably close to Teddy's current size. I knitted a series of blankets in Lion Brand's Homespun yarn. Marble, the cat, loved that yarn. I am sitting on the couch knitting one afternoon. Marble was sitting with me, but I wasn't paying a lot of attention to her. All of the sudden I couldn't pull any yarn to knit with. I look down to my skein, expecting a large tangle. Instead there was no skein, just a trail of yarn. My glass door was open, and the yarn trail leads outside, up the porch stairs and there is Marble-skein in her mouth- heading outside. Who knows what she meant to do? LOL! THANK YOU for the wonderful description of Brioche and Fisherman's Rib. I love knitting Fisherman's Rib and have never been able to make Brioche work!
Today’s podcast was so much fun! FYI there is no need to apologize for back ground noise in your videos, it’s just part of the charm of these shows. It’s relaxing sitting with friends and talking about knitting. Loved the Yolk book!
I watched this episode twice… once while knitting and another time while cleaning and cooking ❤❤❤ So lovely to see all you are making, the yarns, your favorite things… and at the end I had the giggles too ❤
Great knits! Great hair color! The two of you make me smile. You’re lucky to have each other. Thank you for sharing your knitting journeys with us. The enjoyment & the challenges. 💕🧶 Heidi, from Chicago
You ladies are so wonderful. I sit and work on my wip's and learn so much about new to me patterns, yarn and all of your problem solving knitting. Thank you so much for all you do.
Oh, always so delightful when you have a new podcast out! So inspiring, new colors, new patterns, new books ( I am loving Just Yoking), new techniques… I just love it! Thank you both so much for sharing your time with us. Absolutely no distractions from the background noise 😁 I think it’s just really an added bonus to see what’s going on in the shop as far as new yarns and projects. In fact, if I’m ever in the area for sure I will want to see Pick Up Every Stitch.
Love these videos! Please don't worry about background noise. You are in a working yarn shop. If we were knitting together in person there would be background noises. The Here Comes The Sun sweater is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for being inspiring and encouraging. ❤
Kim, your Here Comes the Sun Sweater is stunning! I love, love the colors and your stitches are perfect! I hope to make a colorwork yoke sweater soon. Yours inspires me. So does Jonna’s Skeindeer Vest. I really would love to knit that. And your colors are also so beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration. ❤
all of your projects are beautiful. Love the dynamic between the 2 of you. Also enjoy that your podcasts are longer than the podcasters. It gives me a many hours of enjoyable knitting time.Jonna it is making boring baby blanket better.
Hardly noticed the noise, thanks for another fabulous episode. This was full of so much fun and I was smiling the whole way through. OMG Teddy!! What a lucky boy he is. Jonna your tip about counting rows by moving a stitch marker, after the BOR marker, along every time you do a row, has been so time saving. I used to stop and mark on paper each row and now I just whiz on by moving the stitch marker as I go along💪🏻 Happy knitting and see you next time 🥰
This is my first visit to your podcast and I am so happy I stopped by for a listen. Loved it! Great chemistry between you two, wips, knits, yarns and more. Thank you. Especially enjoyed the end. You had me laughing along with you.
Wowza! Your Here Comes the Sun sweater is so stunning and beautiful, Kim! You completed that lovely sweater that I voted for so fast vis-a-vis knitting all those awesome Monster Beanies, grand children sitting, and life! Wow, I wish had your skills. I am so inspired to knit one since you presented it us for a vote for your next project! Congratulations and enjoy your uber amazing sweater! Thanks for sharing and the wonderful chance to win a copy of all those beautiful patterns in Olga’s book! ❤❤
I enjoyed this episode so much! Chock full of inspiration. You both are such lovely knitters. So generous with your time, knitting wisdom and even those knitting challenges. Thank you!
25:10 oh gosh! My cavapoo was exactly the same 😂 i got him secon-hand when he was 5 months old, no wonder his first owners didn't want to keep him. But I am telling you, a lot of love, patience and some training will help your puppy to grow up into a beautiful happy smart dog. My puppy suddenly changed short after 12 months. One day I came back home where he was all by himself, and I didn't find anything ruined, chewed or out of place, I was so happy and he realised that I am happy with him, he never destroyed anything again. He is 5yo now. They are very very smart dogs, and their main work is to make their humans happy 😊
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna oh, poor baby is teething. He'll be disappointed not to be able to chew on your rug anymore 😄 I always make sure my dog has chewable treats, those that are hard to eat fast, keeps him busy. But yes, until they change all their baby teeth they can't help it but to chew things.
Thanks for another awesome episode ladies! Love the Kaleidoscope cardi and all the hats Kim, and the Here Comes the Sun sweater looks gorgeous! Love Jonna’s long sock tube and Oslo hat looks soft and squishy. I miss Hill Country Weavers since I moved away from Austin. The Yoking book looks so fun, lovely color work sweater on the front cover. Thanks for the generous giveaway.
I think if I concentrate on one project, I can finish more projects like Kim! The sunny sweater is so pretty. Jonna, I visited Hill Country Weavers a few years ago. I was on a time crunch too because my family was in the car😀 Lovely store. What an awesome book of sweaters!
Love your podcasts! You two are so lucky to have such a lovely yarn shop nearby. All my local yarn shops have closed ;( and it just isn't the same ordering yarn from the internet- you don't get to experience the "squish" factor. Smiled at the title of the "Only Yoking" book and absolutely love the yolk on the cover photo! Hope you chose my comment to win the book!
Excellent episode as always! I’m always delighted to knit along with you and see what you’ve been working on and hearing all your future knitting plans! And of course, the Teddy updates 🐾

Hello Kim and Jonna! I’ve had my eye on Olga’s “Only Yoking” pattern book. I’ve watched your podcast from the beginning. Thank you for another enjoyable episode! I always learn something new about knitting every time I watch your podcast. ❤😊
Kim and Jonna, I enjoy your podcast. Kim, you have such a generous soul with all of your gift knitting. Jonna, I love your little Teddy. Please keep his updates coming. Karin Patience
Hello Kim and Jonna. I’m so happy to have been able to sit down and get caught up with you both. Kim: I watched the episode with 5 of your grandchildren and I loved your finished socks and sweater and hat! Wonderful makes, all of them. Your video footage of the walk and visit to the farm was so much fun. That led me to this podcast which I’m loving as well. You two are so busy with all your knitting projects. Have fun with Max at the end of the month. I also watched he and Vincent today so I was aware of his forthcoming visit to NY. It was a good knitting/podcast day for me. Keep up the great shows and don’t worry about the background noise… doesn’t bother me a bit 😊
Fun episode Ladies😃 love the projects! I have knit one Brioche sweater. The Newspaper sweater by Joji. It took me 6 months. Every time I picked it up to work on. I would have Steven West in my head saying “not today!” He calls the yarn overs little shawls. his tutorials are hilarious. But sure helps you remember what you need to do. I learned so much knitting that sweater. Totally understand what your feeling with your vest Jonna. Kim your sweater looks amazing!
Hi Kim and Jonna, I’ve been binge watching your podcasts and just love them. I have now caught up to watching your recent podcast. I’ve learned so much from both of you. I’m so inspired to try knitting so many items. Thank you for all the fun!

Hello 👋 I came across your podcasts recently and enjoy them very much. It’s like having company whilst I knit. Hi there! I love watching you two so much. You brighten my day! You asked for a tip of sorts that a pattern doesn't specify. I'm very generous with stitch markers. During cast-on, I set a ring marker every 20 sts. If I go right into ribbing, I'll keep them on for a few rounds to alert me if I get off pattern (if a knit comes before a marker, I know I'm off count). I also use them anywhere there is an established pattern--cables, lace, basketweave, dec/increases, etc. AND when I pick up stitches. This way I only have to count to 20 or so, and I can still be present for my family, TV, or whatever.
Enjoyed your watching this. I'm always inspired by both of you. I like your academic vest and choice if colors. It's certainly on my lust to knit. Olga's book is awesome !
Kim and your late night knitting. 2 circular needles are perfect for any number of stitches. If you have interchangeable needles, only the working needle needs to be gauge. Your non working needle can be any size, but smaller works best. You may already be aware, but didn’t get that impression. Enjoy your show, never miss an episode.😊
First, loving that red/pink sweater behind Jonna…wow. Sign me up for the Only Yoking book! 🎉 Also, really enjoyed seeing your WIPS. Kim, I made my weekender too big, so I feel you! Hopefully, you still love your HCTS as an FO! Looks great! ❤
Love each episode! I have been extremely hesitant to try brioche but I’m inspired to try after seeing your gorgeous sweater you are working on! How beautiful. Thanks! ♥️✨
Your podcasts are always a hoot! I love everything you knit! I think the book, Only Yoking, is a wonderful idea! Kim, please don't give up on your beetle. Maybe a VW dealership would be the way to go, if you haven't tried already. Hoping for the best! 🌼
Loved the podcast and all of your finished projects. Your knitting (both of you) always looks impeccable and so professional. Kim, I also purchased the Here Comes the Sun pattern and yarn after seeing it here, but I chickened out of knitting it because of the three color rounds : / I'm a flicker with a totally dominant right hand. I ended up using the yarn to make the Forsythian Pullover by Jennifer Steingass. Lot's of stranded colorwork but only two at a time! I love the way it's turning out, but I'm drooling over yours...it's gorgeous!
Wonderful to visit with you today. Oh Kim I definitely hope your flower VW is fixable, we get so attached to our cars. Jonna so excited to hear you have another grand baby on the way. 💕 love the bloopers at the end. I think it’s fitting for Easter that the book has yolks 😎. Until next time.
The sunshine sweater is so pretty. I think the 3rd time ripping would be my limit. I love the vest. So very pretty. Thanks for the great podcast and so happy it is a longer one! I have to sit and knit and I'm on a big project so I'm willing to sit and knit.
Love the Sun jumper Kim! Jonna, have you seen Yamagara's Lapis pattern? I've made 3. One of which was for a friend after she lost her mum. She wears it to work over a dress and says it gives her a hug because it's her mum's favourite colours. It's fitted, a perfect spring/summer knit to go over dresses and keep of the chill of air con. It has a Russian graft and that's so cool, you'll never use Kitchener stitch again. It takes the smallest amount of yarn and gives the biggest impact ever. Thanks to both of you for the detailed episode.
I (Jonna) have the pattern! And the sister pattern, too. I loved them last year and never got around to making them. I even have yarn! Amy Palko made one of them, can’t remember, but it was stunning. I just need more time to knit 🤣
I always enjoy your videocasts. I have learned to use markers for each section I pick up on a garment. It really helps with the counting. Your idea of dividing front and back in half is a very good idea also. I will add that to my list of ideas. Thank you.
Watching your outtakes was hilarious and contagious. There was so much to love about this video. Both of you have a really good sense of what colors work together. The 'Sun' sweater and the vest are stunning.
Kim, love your Here Comes the Sun sweater! It reminds me of your flower VW. Jonna, I want to make your April cardigan! Thank you both for sharing your podcast with us.
Love the colours of Jona's vest. One helpful hint to share..if I borrow needles from one WIP for another project, I leave lightbulb stitch markers so I remember the needle size I was using.
You both are so much fun! I am always so excited to sit and knit for a new episode. Kim, your Here Comes the Sun is so pretty! Jonna, you will be so happy with that Academic; the colors are sublime. You have both inspired me to make Oslo hats for Christmas presents. I need to call Pick Up Every Stitch and order the yarn for it. I highly recommend being a Cable 3! The Zoom was so much fun.
So excited for another podcast! You two are fabulous. I love colorwork! Just the perfect knit mesmerizing and challenging. Hang in there with your vest. The more on the chart the better right?
Lovely episode, thanks for the intro, very thoughtful and it really wasn't bad at all and it makes it so real and fresh, it was a great episode from head to toe ! Lots of great inspiration and wisdom , as always. Jonna loved loved the names of your new grand daughter and that lilac will be a show stopper, can't wait to see what you knit. I am excited about LYS and I think it's the perfect day to go to Pick up every stitch for the first time :) . Thanks again for a delightful episode that brings so much joy !
Love what you're knitting and the stories behind them. I want to buy the Only Yoking book now, but will wait and hope that I'm a lucky winner! Thanks for another fun video.
Regarding Willow’s captions, it’s easy for any viewer to go into the settings of the video (gear icon in upper right!) and choose ‘captions’ and then choose ‘Auto-translate’ and choose English. Takes 1 second and works like a charm! Thanks for your awesomeness, Kim and Jonna. Inspired each and every time I watch your podcasts. 😊
You both make my day seeing all your amazing knits and fun personalities! Thanks for all you do in making the world a little happier and displaying your talents!

Love the colours of Jona's vest. One helpful hint to share..if I borrow needles from one WIP for another project, I leave lightbulb stitch markers so I remember the needle size I was using.
Thanks for sharing!!
So inspiring as always! You have me knitting on a colourwork vest and going back and finishing old WIPs!❤❤
Fantastic job Kim on that amazing colorwork. You two ladies are an inspiration to me on my knitting journey. Look forward as ever to the next episode.
So excited for another podcast! You two are fabulous. I love colorwork! Just the perfect knit mesmerizing and challenging. Hang in there with your vest. The more on the chart the better right?
You both have so many beautiful projects. Thanks for another great episode.
Jonna, your version of the "2 at a time" sock is GENIUS! Omgoodness, that is definitely the version I'd do. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! I just started a single sock and realized that I really prefer my TAAT sock method. I wanted to compare methods but I won't do it again!
We can't wait to meet you!

Thanks for the tip!
Not everyone has closed caption unfortunately.
Beautiful projects. I love all your episodes because they give me some company while knitting ❤

Delightful podcast once again, Ladies! Thank you too, to Olga for the gift of her books, “Only Yoking” - so generous! - Christina from SoCal!
G'day! Another wonderful podcast. So nice to see Jonna's April Sweater again, as I am just about to start mine, which was inspired by Jonna's sweater when she first made it. The Yolk book looks amazing. Thanks for keeping me company and keeping me inspired.
